This is a reasonable application, however, it does not display the vertical scale in the results in dB. It is also has no way to calibrate headphones and also to check the hearing at any desired frequency. The earphones frequency response may be calibrated with a microphone on the phone.
right side absolutely does not work. i bought a brand new headset, and the right side did not work using this app.. I tested on other apps and it worked perfectly so I ended up reversing the headset for the test using my left side for both of my ears
The tests begin at an audible level, then ramp up quickly, making the result irrelevant. However, there's lots of analysis to put results in context. It's a very slick design, but the guy who ordered the screens should probably be doing something else for a while.
does exactly what it says. no adverts. I recommend to exchange the headphones round from left to right and try again to minimise the effect of unbalanced volume if any and compare the results. well done..
Rubbish app. States my left ear is better than my right. Opposite is true. That's why I have 2 hearing aids.
Ready to use, not Bad hearing test for frequency response/sensitivity of hearing. Uses only tones, so does not really measure intelligibility.
Amazingly easy to follow and informative results. Must try, not a replacements of clinical audieometry, but still very useful. Thanks to developers.
Cannot use with wireless headphones! Program will not progress without"plugging in" Worthless. Get with the time! Plug in is a thing of the past
Decent test. Don't take any DIY hearing test too seriously unless you are in an isolation pod. External sounds can skew results and possibly mask inner ear disease.
Thanks, I one day noticed that my earphones right side sounded louder I did some research and them found that maybe I had hearing loss. I came to this and now I know that I have slight hearing loss.
Excellent App, design functionality with reverse audible wavelengths. Ascending descending then in reverse.
Results are very auccurate . I had done pure tone audiometry test by audiometrist in soundproof lab and the results are very much same as this app results.
Needs to do 6kHz. Also the sound got really loud at one point. Very annoying and possibly dangerous!
Easy and straight forward to do the actual test but the results are confusing. I said I have worse hearing than most people my age but all the little icons were green so what makes it worse??
It doesn't support wireless earphones as my phone doesn't have 3.5 mm headphone jack so I can't use this.
Excellent accurate app with realistic results by getting inteactive inputs from users and saving cost of repeated audiometry tests..
Just like my "office visit" ! Only.... I had to go two-times . Thirty-miles to the appointment and thirty-miles back !
Much more comprehensive. It gives a comprehensive results on all types of hearing capability
Sucked. Gave me a bad migraine after test. Sound got louder too fast. I wouldn't recommend this.
Easy to operate, wonderful app easily you can find out lossof hearinng
Easy to and worth a few.minutes to learn how my hearing is
Nice app to check the quality of ears. 🤩
The pitches were crisp, clear and easy to quickly pick up.
This app is perfect! Saved my ears from sudden deafness! God bless you!
Only works in headphones I used bluetooth. But I need a version on speaker to test kids.
First it only allowed me to take the test. The test was full of spots where non-adjustable mistakes could be made throwing the resuts way off. It asked for my age. I had the option of 2 answers <20 something or between 30-and maybe 39? I couldn't change it, I'm 62 yrs old. The sound part starts with very little warning. The first part for my left ear is not accurate. There are no restart, back or pause bottons. If your a little slow answering, another error. There are lots of mistakes in this.
