Heart Rate Analyzer

Introduction.

Heart Rate Analyzer is the App that allows you to perform a comprehensive data analysis of the Samsung heart rate sensor for both IR and RED sensors. Getting heart rate sensor data is possible only for Samsung devices, that are equipped such sensors OR some other Android devices that have the same sensors. But getting the results of analysis can be done on any Android device, if you transfer the sensor data from the Samsung devices by using external microSD-card or Google Drive cloud service.

Features.

Completely NO ads.

Oximeter. Calculation the oxygen saturation (SpO2).

Possibility to save the raw heart rate sensor data of both IR and RED sensors to the internal memory, the external memory (e.g., micro SD-card), or to your Google Drive.

Possibility to load heart rate sensor data on another Android device using a micro SD-card or your Google Drive service.

Possibility to get heart rate sensor data with a duration between 30 sec and 30 min.

Possibility to create a database of your heart wave data for a long period of time for future analyzing.

Detailed visual inspection of heart wave data (finger arterial pressure FAP waveform).

Comprehensive data and statistical analysis of the many heart wave parameters, including long term data on one diagram. Besides the oxygen saturation, these parameters include heartbeats per minute (bpm), perfusion index, stiffness index, reflection index, peripheral augmentation index and more.

Color-defined values of the heart wave parameters and manual adjustment the alerting thresholds.

Simple UI that returns a great deal of information. No Ads. Results can be saved. Uses sensor on this Samsung Galaxy phone. Has every feature I was looking for. Help files are well written and well...helpful. Greatest room for improvement in this version would be additional diagrams in the help files to explain heart function and the math behind the measurements. Thank you.

Wow. So much information. Make sure if your phone has a light next to camera... Use that. Not the camera to read the info. I made this mistake. It kept making me nervous because it would say that there was issues with my heart. As soon as I used the little square next to the camera everything went to normal. So after much research you're supposed to use that little square next to the camera to put your finger on. But the results are amazing. If you want more information press the top right button and click all options.

This is not supported by rog phone 2. I will say that from looking at it, this app looks superb and would most likely rate five stars if I did work. The reason why is because my phone does not use Samsung hardware or software. What stinks is this app looks like it's exactly what I want. I also want to thank the developers for using either no ads or no intrusive ads.

Thank you SO much for putting the time and effort into this app!!! It includes multiple (and VERY professional) charts, has more settings than I'd ever know what to do with (I'm not a medical professional), and for someone who knows how to understand the terminologies, it provides WAY better statistics/graphing than the Samsung Health app ever THOUGHT about incorporating into their app, and you provided it AD-FREE with the terminologies explained...AMAZING!!! ***ONLY for Samsung spO2 sensors***

Seems good to me when used with Samsung s6 sensor. BUT it produces a lot of "t" numbers/readings which relate to blood pressure which I have no idea how to interpret or relate back to what I am use to for checking blood pressure ( assuming this is what those t numbers relate to ?). Could there be some guidance as to how to relate these readings to blood pressure?? Or the app adapted to give a simple idiot proof (me) reading for this. User interface is a bit lacking but functional.

Great info! Really great app. As another reviewer mentioned a UI upgrade would be great. Also, putting in a filter for a simple reading option would be nice as well for those not as technically minded. But overall really appreciate the details in this app!

App shows exact measure data but it has no correction algorithms to calculate Hart rate. I got Hart rate mostly above 150bpm. It's twice as much as the true value. I switched to Samsung Health app which calculates my Hart rate correctly. By my opinion this app is useful for nerds and data analysts but not for regular users. This app has no annoying ads.

Phenomenal app. Thanks a lot to the developer for his hard work. Really detailed and polished. Uses the heart rate sensor and spo2 sensor of your phone to give detailed results about your vitals. No ads no permission except for the actual sensor in use. Bless you sir (note* app gives easy to understand outcomes in results page and uses the actual sensor than can be found in many phones-not the camera lens** i think the very latest samsung phones don't have that..so please check first.)

Excellent app. The only heart rate and spo2 checker that doesn't need a subscription or expect use of a external sensor. Very pleased. Only gripe is that it would be great if it could link to my galaxy watch hence the 4 stars, but other than that, great app

Very in depth analysis, just wish the UI was refreshed to look a bit more modern, app hasn't been updated for a long time but it still works great.

If you have a Samsung Galaxy with heart rate and O2 sensors, this is the app that's not Samsung bloat or ad-ridden. I like the data displayed as distributions. I would give five stars if the data were shared with Google Fit (something Samsung's health app won't do).

My Samsung s8+ reading stopped working after recent updates rbough the sensor was reading . Tried with this app and the results show and match with the fitbit watch for heart beat

great app. please update for galaxy s10. on my s8 it worked great but on my s10 my heart rate peak is over 3000 and gets cut off, thus indicating wrong data.

Cool concept but couldn't get it to work on my phone. I'm not sure if it was my camera or the program. kept showing my heartbeat rate was in the high 100s. I have a medcial device that I compared with it at the same time and showed my heart beat rate was in the 60s.

Easy to use, extremely thorough results. Good service since Samsung seems to have dropped the oxygen sensor reading on Samsung Health.

Blo. S. Jan 27, 2019

Excellent! I've tried others without success. This one, you can actually see the wave as the heart beats. The waveform matches the ECG at the hospital.

Says its compatibility with ALL devices, but then app say NOT compatibility with your sensor. It is free but not working. .

Min. G. Apr 7, 2020

Please add in an ability to export results in images or PDF form so it can be easily shared with a doctor, thanks.

Doesn't work on my Galaxy S5 Active. Says sensors not present even though I allowed the permissions and my phone has the heart rate sensor.

Best app for Samsung users. Only one to use Samsung's native sensor and provides all the data you need

Simple and does what it needs to do well

Great. Samsung seemed to have removed some features from it's health app.
