Heart Rate Monitor & Announcer

Apparantly not actively supported. Pity. Has been my favorite HRM app despite its small faults. Often hard to get it to connect - or reconnect to my HRM chest bands. When it works, the optional announcements when changing HR zones are VERY helpful when training. Galaxy S4, S8 and A5. It's not a big deal, but when I close the HRM app it continues in the background until I force stop the app.

Great. Exactly what I wanted except when I stop the HRM and close the app it doesn't shut off in the background and it forces me to force stop the app in order to get rid of the notification. It's not a big deal but sometimes while force stopping I uninstall the app. P.S. Allow us to enter custom zones :)

Apps been abandoned since 2016.. I feel alot of progress could have been made like the design or features like a custom heart rate zone beeping pretty easy to add.

Great app! One small improvement would be to lower music volume for the time when heart rate voice kicks in. Very good though.

Great app, but the fonts are a bit too small where it tells you how many minutes you spend in each heart rate zone.

Not working with "Jarv RunBT" HRM

This is the only app I could find that does the basic function of heart rate zone audio feedback. It's great for feedback while training, and very simple to use. Feature requests for improvements: - Volume control (relative to other sources) - Custom zone intervals (just let me type in the heart rate breakpoints) - Periodic announcements (announce heart rate every x minutes regardless of zone transitions) - Change settings even if not actively connected to a sensor

Exactly what I was looking for! PROS: Announces when entering heart rate zones so I can hear them without interrupting my workout and stay in my target zone. Works with Wahoo TICKR. Color-coded time graph at bottom is great. CONS: Circle around HR is confusing but helpful once you know where the zones are. Lots of preconfigured zone calculations, but otherwise no customization at all. I don't need to save workout data, but I can see that other reviewers would want that.

I can't get the notification to leave my notification tray, even when I exit the app, is still there. No way to remove except for through force closing it

Lov this app. Really simple and connects to my hrm every time without any issues.

Terrifyingly Buggy. Blacks out screen, crashes, locks phone, disappears from the top menu, freezes phone.

The best app for accompanying your runs of hikes or rides.

Didn't work at first but quick update and it works perfectly. Makes a big difference having an audio hr zone alert. Thanks to the dev for quick fix. Just wish it had a widget now so I could use it as a small app overlaid on my interval timer.
