This app needs to be revamped/debugged. I've used it for several years now, and it consistently malfunctions. Since I typically use my phone, it would be nice if I didn't have to use the (also poorly designed) Heartland online banking site.
The app is so glitchy. Fingerprint ID works twice and then will stop. General failure messages pop up all the time, it will switch my bank account destination last minute when making transfers causing my money to go to the wrong account. Oh and the million digit long user ID is very convenient to remember....never used a banking app this bad
Terrible App The fingerprint log in stopped working. When it did work I was required to answer 2 security question with each login. It's the same thing when I log in with a password. I'm required to to answer two security questions with each login. That's ridiculous. The app is useless to me with the login marathons.
love the funds tracker section and this app in general with the simple UI. however, I have two concerns: 1. I would like a widget for my homescreen that would display my balances, recent transactions, upcoming bills, etc. 2. I recently switched phones and my new screen is significantly smaller than most, so the login button at the login screen is partially covered by other elements. and also, if you are ever in need of a developer for these implementations, id be eager to assist free of charge:)
It randomly will not let me log in even with my correct password and this is very annoying. It will say a general error has occured. Fix it. Or I will delete the app, no point in holding on to an app that does not function.
Horrible App. I have reset my password six times in the last week while writing it down every time I do it. It seems that the app cant remember when I save the password and then tells me its incorrect. Extremely inconvenient. Dont put out an app unless it works well.
App has not worked properly since last update, 6 months ago! Probably 90% of the time, I can't get the app to open. And it doesn't matter if it's an iPhone or Android - app responds the same on both devices.
Never seems to work...I see the loading screen and then the app randomly closes itself. It's been like this for years sadly. Otherwise Heartland is a great bank and they seem to employ very helpful staff. Just wish this app worked.
This app is TOTAL GARBAGE!!!!!! The app freezes up, and makes you go through multiple screens. I had to go online and bank that way. I uninstalled this non working waste of time app.
Rarely works. Constantly won't recognize my password and I have to reset a new one. Finger print ID works once or twice after rest then i have to reset password and start over.
App just randomly crashes and doesn't work. The only thing you can really do on this app is check your funds and spending and it barely functions at that. App feels primitive and useless at times
Can't get into my bill pay keep getting my secure session has ended and internal error. App doesn't need updated and I've uninstalled and reinstalled it on a different device with still same problems.
So disappointed in the app. We moved so we had to close our accounts at Busey Bank. We opened at Heartland. This app rarelt works! The Busey app was so great....I am bummed. I may have to move accounts to the other bank in town just to have adequate mobile banking!
After last update, it crashes on load instantly. I've rebooted and reinstalled. It no longer works.
Not real Tec savvy ,but this app is very helpful I'm able to do what I need too and thank to as I refer to her my banker on Hersey for setting me up and if I ever have a question I can call or stop and and ask her I have banked here for a long time and been so happy and when I had a problem on a business account no fault of heartland they got on it and took care of it would recommend ❤land bank to all 👍thank you Mark. This app rarely works. Won't let me login with my correct password or alias. I have called 15 times in the past two weeks because it will not let me login. Every single rep has just reset my password. Um, it's not my password - heartland bank cannot make a properly functioning application. A different representative who I spoke with yesterday put in a ticket with their mobile banking team- if it doesnt resolve my long withstanding issue, I'm going to switch banks. Absolutely ridiculous.
App is not loading and crashing at startup. Had to uninstall app and reinstalled to stop the crashing.
Literally hate this app. I have nothing but trouble with it. It will be the sole reason I find a new bank. And don't respond with a generic I'm sorry reply. Just hire a team to redesign the app. Your sorrys are useless an after this many times.
This app was working perfectly fine for the first 3 or 4 weeks but now I cant log into my account even though I'm using my correct password.
Can you guys work on fixing your app pls! It giving me loading issues at every screen. How TF is someone supposed to pay bills with an app that works like this???
App worked great until today. It's not recognizing me fingerprint and saying there is an error with secure data...
Only works when it wants to. Most of the time when I try to log in it just spins forever. No telling when I'm able to actually use it
The app opens, has a 10 second pause and then crashes.

The app made me change my password, and now I can't access my account. This is the kind of thing you want happening to your money and it's extremely aggravating.
This app is the bare minimum of what a bank app should be. It only shows transactions and amounts with a current balance, and available balance. Other apps my friends have like PNC and Chase are so much more in depth, and show a lot more information. They easily move money around and create savings accounts to save for things. All my money disappears from bills when the app doesn't know I have bills coming up and I have nothing left after to save. Needs updates very badly.
