Hearts Card Classic

Improve your skills and become a Hearts pro! Hearts Card Classic has three different difficulty settings so you can work your way up to playing like a pro. Statistics are kept for wins and losses and moon shots so you can see yourself improving over time. All cards are dealt randomly to all players, so the difference between the Easy, Standard, and Pro computer players is in how they choose to play the cards they are dealt. A hint button can be turned on to help you see how the computer Pro player would handle your current situation.

Standard mode: the computer players don't collaborate to let one of them shoot the moon, which is nice. Pro level of difficulty is bad. It's obvious that one computer AI opponent is superior to you and the other two. I understand that to have true A.I. of good players would be too expensive, but the cheap solution (computer cheats on Pro mode) is not fun.

The game itself is excellent, BUT it is not possible to close the ads. If you click on the "x" it always produces a search engine such as Edge or Google. The only way to proceed is to close the Hearts game and then open it again to continue playing. I am trying to decide whether it is worthwhile to uninstall this game and try another Hearts game.

I've played Hearts for 65 years; 35 on computers and tablets. Hands down, Jeff has created the best Hearts game platform ever. I only play Pro level, due to my experience, but having the other levels is great for young kids and less experienced players. The over variables are fun. I'd never played a computer version where you could modify the losing score, but I've tried 200 and 500 and they're fun. Haven't played @ 50, but I will, since at that level 1 mistake is probably fatal. Best EVER!

Basic hearts game with no extras. The app is good and the graphics are better than most other basic Hearts apps I've played. I also really like the 3 difficulty levels, which keeps the game challenging. However, this app has way too many ads (one after every hand!). I wish this app also had an auto-complete feature that finishes the hand when one player has to take all the remaining tricks. Game is too slow without that. Would have been at least 4-stars, perhaps 5, if that feature was included.

When playing the 'Pro' level, it appears as if the all the players knows exactly what cards you have, and railroad you into taking points. Which is not the point of a higher level. When you have a weak spade hand, for instance, the other players in unison will play spades aggressively, until you're caught; when you suit is strong, they never make it a priority. I've seen plays when one would just throw out the Queen, and you're thinking it's going for control, then another has no choice but to throw it's King, and I still have a mitt full of spades, red flag. This game's code seems to be too biased to be enjoyable.

Good AI. Way too many ads and no ability to play real people on line like the blue frog hearts game ( I would pay a few $ to get rid of ads) I've been playing this game now for more than a year and I am now able to consistently beat the AI Pro level. That is only because I now know that the AI will usually pass their highest cards. That makes it a lot easier to shoot the moon which I have done more at the pro level then at standard level. Standard level is very very easy.

I read comments on other games...lot of complaints about ads. Honestly, you get a 15 sec ad which you can cancel after 5-10 sec at the end of each winning hand. Not intrusive, no interruptive. Graphics are straightforward and plain...just like you see it on the kitchen table, only easier. Good for beginners or pros. You select difficulty level. All 3 AI's and I ran the table. It's hearts just like at home. 5****s

Mostly it is very good, though l'd have to play it longer to judge the level of play of the bots. It's good that the total scores are shown during play. But not having the option to add or subtract a moon is a deal breaker for me. I could be one point out of the lead at 75, and loose if l shot the moon. And you should be able to review the last trick played.

Good game, with only two drawbacks on my device, a Samsung Tab 4. It runs a little slow, even on a fast selection, probably due to my aged tablet. The other drawback is blocking out all but the cards that can be played. However, some people might like that. I'd like to see it as an on/off option - just a personal preference. Game is a keeper.

It's honestly a decent hearts game. Easy level is programed so that you get few points. Normal level everyone plays strategic. Pro level is like playing 3 on 1. If the computer can calculate a way to give you the queen, or at least some hearts cards, or if there is one play that can ruin a shoot the moon, it will happen. Every time. You can still win, buy you have to play an absolute perfect game.

Excessive ads! Ads should wait until after a game has been won , but they show up after every round has ended. This means you are forced to watch an ad for a duration of 3-5 seconds for every 60 seconds it takes to get through a single round. I love the graphics, the settings are okay, but there should be an option to upgrade so that you don't have to endure the constant interruption while playing. Or, my recommendation to the designer is to fix the ads to occur at the end of the game.

All the options are great. Wish there were some instructions for those who don't know how to play; No guarantee the first experience will be a good one. Graphics are clear; "Hint" is helpful; Quite a strategy level jump when moving up from "Easy", but great fun and quite addictive all the same. 🕊

Game is easy on pro level. Animation is quite slow and advertisement after every hand is slightly annoying. I still think it is better than the other game that stops your music to advertise. Still loving it. I think the AI actually figured out how I play my cards and has made it more interesting.

Pro level is testing. Standard is easier and more in line with other versions of the game which can be downloaded. Easy level is a bit of a farce as the programme's players do not play logically or even sensibly. Graphics are good to very good. Having different winning targets is good. Have yet to win the Pro level. Standard is easy enough to win. Easy is not even challenging.

While it is one of the best Hearts games out there, there are a few issues. Firstly, no serious Hearts player I know that has even a modicum of 'pro' experience would discharge 3 Aces! Also there should be a level between Standard and Pro, since the difference between the difficulty is at best dramatic. Finally, the hints need a bit of work, such as including counting cards reminders. But these are technical issues. Nobody else is even close. Your game is outstanding! Good work!

Excellent game, however, im experiencing two issues. 1. Since the recent update Sometimes I cant use the backward button on my phone when an advertisement pops up. 2. You have ads larger than the screen that there is no way to close the advert window so i have no choice but to exit the game. These two issues have created frustration. Otherwise, its a brilliant (program) game.

Finally Hearts as it should be played passing 3 cards to your opponent hoping to mess up his hand. It's fun .YOU never know what cards get passed to you. Maybe the queen of spades! Sure keeps you on your toes preventing one player from shooting the moon and taking all hearts,& queen of spades nailing all players with a bunch of negative points. All player points are shown. Easy to see who you need to beat to win. Addictive, challenging; has levels from easy to more difficult & faster dealing.

I enjoy the game a lot but twice now, I have seen the app allow a game to continue past the set losing score of 100. Also, the easy level should be so one can learn from it; instead, the 3 opponents just play stupidly. There appears to be a flaw in that - the 3 opponents can't recognize when any of the players is about to shoot the moon. In addition, "Catalina" (on my left), can only play the queen of spades to take a trick or when the king or ace of spades is led v played onto a trick.

pat. Dec 20, 2018

Completely unrealistic game. I'm not a great Hearts player, but I've been able to shoot the moon as many as three times in one game, on the "Pro Level". Whenever I short - suit myself in clubs, 90% of the time I will be passed the ace of clubs. Several times while trying to shoot the moon, I will play the ace and king of spades early, but the queen is not played - who in hell holds the queen when there is a chance to lose it? I uninstalled this app.

I loved this game---until the new ad updates. Now ads must run a few seconds until they can be x-ed out. Many ads, such as Quicken loans, have a black background and cannot be closed. The game freezes on that ad. Going to a force stop only throws the game into a loop. Ad closes and then the last hand is played again---and the same annoying ad appears again. Very disappointed.

This is a fun game, with an ease on the eye and great visual. I have spent many hours enjoying playing it, although I have found some discrepancies with the algorithm (reason for the 4 stars), which makes some of the other players goof when to properly play the Queen of Spades, it is still the one I come back to play, versus other Hearts' apps.

It's a great game in standard game. I can even win more often than not. However, the ads are after every hand which I can live with, except for one ad that whenever you try tapping the x it goes to its website and not back to the game. It is so frustrating I give up on the game.

I can play the pro game better than the standard edition. Go figure. playing the pro game I just shot the moon 4 straight games in a row for a perfect game. Another perfect 4 moons in a row game. I play hearts as a mindless relief from my work. This apt works perfectly but I wish there was a way to stop certain ads that are inappropriate. I dont appreciate ads for black or white women. or men either. There seems to no way to opt out of those ads.

Gar. B. Jan 29, 2022

1 star: 2022: When you shoot the moon, you're supposed to have the option of either subtracting 26 points from your own score, or add 26 points to everyone else's; sometimes the game (point totals) will dictate your choice - sadly, this version only adds 26 points to your opponents. The game total I selected was to 200, but for some reason, it declares me the winner (I had 62 points, highest opponent was at 128 points. Finally - Uninstalling.

Dummy me thot all 3 opponents used their own AI... They play with one AI and you cannot win at the advanced level if they do not want you to... Also caught them several times taking my lead for the next trick, even though I won the past one... Sigh, the AI still leaves a lot to be desired. Could use a "review" button on the past trick, but that might just p.o. me more.

Enjoyable, challenging, and %100 classic hearts like how I remember it. Thanks! A few suggestions though, an ad after each hand seems way too excessive. So how about an option to purchase the game? Another thing I would suggest is the option for playing partners with the AI across the table. Every IRL game I've ever played had teams. Choosing which 3 cards to give away based on if they're going to friend or foe adds is really fun element. Lastly, ya'll should let us change the names of the AI.

I think the game layout is very good. I like the options it gives if regard to number of points for game and the speed of playing. The only thing I don't like about it is loud obnoxious music that is played in regards to the advertisements. I sometimes glance at the advertisements and things I would like to learn more about it but I am turned off so much by the loud music and I don't bother.

Good Hearts app: it is very light and smooth. Its presentation's nice choice of colors, the available personal stats plus its speeds and levels of play make this app a real pleasure to use. It's a wonderful game to play anytime you're in a waiting room, on a train, on a plane; you name it. I absolutely recommend this particular app.
