Build a support network with HeartShip! Know that you are not alone. Discuss mental health hardships, physical ailments or other issues with people that share them. Messaging is anonymous, secure, and meant to be judgment free without fear of stigma or shame.
How to use HeartShip:

1. Create your account and type an anonymous pseudonym to display to other users2. Enter your mental health, physical health or other issues (e.g. depression, anxiety, bipolar disorder, PTSD, work-related stress, epilepsy) 3. Find and message users with shared issues4. Add friends and build a support network5. Update your status regularly to let friends and new matches know how well you are feeling or just whatever comes to mind6. Check the statuses of your friends to see how well they are feeling. Reach out to users that need help.

About HeartShip

HeartShip's purpose is to let people know they are not alone in the world, that their hardships can be overcome and that shame is fruitless. Depression and anxiety should not dominate anyone's life. Suffering from a major ailment such as those or bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, PTSD and other mental "illnesses" can be alienating. HeartShip provides a space for those individuals to talk through problems with people that understand them.

Users can vary from a person who has struggled his or her entire life with depression to someone looking to care for their relative with anxiety or someone recently bipolar disorder looking to better understand their diagnosis. Develop real connections on and help it become a community built on supporting one’s fellow person.

There are no current plans to monetize HeartShip. The app will not have traditional advertising and there will never be premium-only features. All users should have the same access to tools that can better their lives.

Bullying and trolling have no place in HeartShip. Given the sensitivity of the issues being discussed, please respect the boundaries of potentially vulnerable users. HeartShip does not offer counseling or connect licensed medical professionals to users. All connections are between anonymous individuals looking to support one another.

I didn't like how there was no option just to sign up with an email. I don't want to sign up with facebook or my google account. That's uncomfortable. Please add an email only option for sign up!
