Hebrew - English Translator

Great, simple to use program that seems to work fairly well. You can copy & paste text, or type in directly to translate from English to Hebrew or vice versa. Context of phrases can be somewhat of a small problem as is with pretty much all apps used to translate languages, but overall this is an excellent and useful tool.

The nikud is so helpful and the original reason I put this app on my tablet. Unfortunately the nikud is not there a lot of the time which may lead me to return to my previous app. The other reason I downloaded this is because it gives multiple choices. So many apps bring up only one choice but it's not exactly the one I am looking for. Having several choices helps me greatly, especially when I am translating a song or tehillim. I would love it if verb forms were there as well.

No option to see vowels in the Hebrew translation. No option for Audio to hear how words are pronounced. Poor functionality. This is the most basic of translators. No options for gender or various tenses. No grammar settings. Overall very poorly executed.

This is by far the easiest Hebrew-English dictionary online. It is quick: provides all translations of the word and allows you to save your work.You do have to be bilingual enough to write in both languages, the app does not search approximations. Whether I hear a word or read a word in Hebrew that I don't understand, or need a translation of an English word to Hevrew , I have my answer in seconds. It also works just as easily for Hevrew speakers needing translations to English.

Pretty good app, set up well and totally free, helps me a lot, though it doesn't have some words, and it's not 100 present up to date, still found it very useful and had translation for almost all words.

This app is okay, I would probably give it 3 stars, the only reason I'm giving it one star is because ever time I make an English to Hebrew translation, I don't get a Hebrew translation playback, what type of translation app is this? Google translate does the same thing for some languages, but Google translate does multiple languages, and this app only does two and I don't get a playbackfor one of the languages, that's stupid. The dictionary app is the same way. Don't even bother.

I was disappointed that there was no audio for the Hebrew. The other language translation apps from this company that I have downloaded have audio for both languages. A great if not essential feature.

Nice app and quite accurate in translation. Would be good if there's a word parsing option.

Absolutely awful! Only allows you to hear the English, not the Hebrew, which is what you need to hear!

It does the job well. Not perfect but no free translator is.

This has been an invaluable program for me to study Hebrew. It is my go-to resource. I appreciate the availability of this program beyond measure and would recommend it to anyone who is serious about studying and understanding Hebrew.

Unfortunately this is the second translation app that I have used that doesn't work for pronunciation in Hebrew.
