App is pretty helpful, but i purchased the audio add-on and i cant get it to work. Edit: Since most recent update, the audio seems to work, but it no longer remembers i purchased it. Edit 2: Audio now works and my purchase was restored. Works great now
Love it. the only problem, is not the company's fault but Google itself. I wanted to purchase the additional in-app option to get the sound effects for $3.99, and can't because I cannot put my entire password in there because it contains symbols that the edited keyboard will not carry. Way to go Geniuses at Google you're on top of it! so sorry guys, can't make the in app purchase. Probably will disable this whole app. And try to find another that I can use. Won't use Google apps for this
needa a portrait mode and the back button on the phone should stop exiting the app. also, with letters that have 2 sounds depending on the dot, better indicate which corresponds to the English pronunciation
It's really great, I can learn at my own pace and for a very low price I added on the voice app and can really study with total accuracy. I would absolutely recommend this app.
This app helped me to master the Aleph Bet. Even though I have advanced to intermediate level I still practice using the quiz function. This helps me to recognize the letters and instantly know the associated sound without having to think about it. I highly recommend this app for anyone wanting to learn to read and write Hebrew.
Very simple app, but great flashcard learning for beginners. I purchased the sound as well since I have issues with pronouncing the chet and kaf in particular. I also like the hebrew spelling of the name of the letters. Reinforces learning.
It is a simple Alephbet review and test program for fast learning. you can choose from various tests. You can buy audio for around $3.99. I like it but you learn everything so fast and there is nothing but the alephbet.
As far as learning the Hebrew alphabet and it's vowels go, you can't go passed this free app, it is the best, and for a small price you can add the audio files that go with it, definitely worth it.
This app is great! So easy to switch between whatever you feel you need to work on. You can add in flash cards and testing as you advance.
Very simple to use, excellent program. I try and quiz myself daily to keep the letters and vowels fresh in my mind.
The app is great with one exception. When taking a quiz and my choice is incorrect the correct answer isn't revealed.
THE BEST app for learning alphabet/nouns. Also has print, cursive, ancient (paleo) and block representations. No ads, well worth the small donation for the audio as well
Very very convenient for learning Hebrew! Never had any app crashes. Convenient from switching from book and cursive Hebrew learning.
This app is soooo amazing!! I'm a beginner just learning and this app is so clean, clear and concise. Not overly "Addy" (ad filled) for a free version and def worth paid upgrades. 5 stars all the way!!
It's okay. It only uses niqqud on the aleph. It doesn't show you how vowels work with different letters. I mean it's okay if you just want to learn the name and basic sound of the alephbet.
Excellent easy to learn the letters in block book script not really going to use ancient but fun to know. 10 out of 10.
Needs update, keeps shutting down when try to move between screens. Specifically going from vowel flashcard back to previous screen
I opened it and found out you have to pay for the sounds. Don't automatically come with app. And then it crashed. Uninstall...
Awesome flash cards! Love the four versions of letters. The pronunciation is clear. These cards are helping me to memorize and to write Hebrew.
I purchased the additional bundle and it didn't work. I contacted the developers and got no help! I can't transfer purchase to my new phone.
HELP. I really want to like this app but I am frustrated that I keep getting error messages and it shuts down when I switch to other options
They are supposed to be flashcards. As such, the name of the letter should NOT appear next to it. And I see no way to remove this as an option. Will be deleting it. You should have the option to view the letter with or without its designation.
The initial app is great and helpful and easy to use. When I add the audio it made it even better🤓Can I give it the star of a David? Really enjoy it👍
Really like this app for learning the alephbet. The addition of contextual examples of the letters would bump this to a 5-star rating.
I like tha app but I just paid for the Audio Add-on and it doesn't work, I can't hear any of the three sounds.
exactly what is needed to practice memorizing the essential aspects of the hebrew letters. No intrusive advertisements.
Love this app, it's fun! It would be good to review my mistakes, so I can know which letters to pay more attention to, because when I make a mistake, it advises then the letter I didn't properly identify disappears. By the end of the quiz, I've forgotten which letters confused me. (I have the short-term memory of a goldfish) I love being able to include, or exclude vowels and sofits 😊
