The app only recognizes my device when all other apps on my phone are closed. Took me 2weeks to figure that out. App instructions are bad. The On/off button will be opposite what i think it should be, then it quit showing any text and you cant even tell that it is on/off button. I never got the flash option to work as I expected. Lights are great. App needs work yet no update since 2017. Someone dropped the ball.

Won't control lights after phone connects to car. The only way I can actually control the lights via Bluetooth is before I start my car. After I start my car the phones BT connects to the car. Then lights no longer respond to app inputs.

Horrible experience. Had the Heise lights less than 6months. App will no longer connect to the lights...which renders them useless. Uninstalled/re-installed several times. Graphic interface is rudimentary at best. The ON/OFF button is counter-intuitive.

Not user friendly. Half the time, the app will not turn the lights off. It's gotten to the point I don't want to use them and I just had them installed a few months ago. I have to force stop the app, and reopen. Uninstalled and reinstalled, no change in performance.

My app is not working anymore. Cannot connect to truck for the last week. Never had a problem since last update. Using same device as before. Unable to connect via bluetooth. Please fix the app. I paid $400 + for the service.

Doesn't work on Samsung s7. If you have an s7, the bluetooth has issues. Its the phone not the app. I have had problem with bluetooth pairing with auto radios too. Tried multiple s7s with same result. I tried my wife's s8 and it works perfect.

It doesn't work half the time and the connected devices goes blank and the rock lights flicker. The color gradient sucks, wish it just had a remote. Update: Does not work with Galaxy Note 10 Plus at all

App will not connect to Note 10 Plus via Bluetooth which is the only way it works. Worked in the past, then would not cut off while using my Apple phone. I would never purchase anything with Heise RBG on it or related to it.

I have had this app and the lights for about 2 months now and I have not been able to import my music from my phone to the "music lib" to play it via the app. Has anyone else experience this?

Update: So you all updated the app on 07JAN20 and my stuff still doesnt work (Samsung note 10). I'm about to have the shop I bought them from, submit a claim on these worthless inoperable things yall call rock lights __________ This has got to be the poorest BT controller app made, for rock lights. It had bugs initially when using android note series then I installed an update on my phone and my rock lights are trash cuz the app doesnt recognize the phone. Filing a claim against the company?

Worked great for 2 days. Then my phone(note 10 plus) now won't even open the app. Paid $400 for rock lights u can't use!!! Don't waste your money!!! Zero!!!!! Stars!!!!!

why use an app it doesn't work I spent 2hrs just trying to bluetooth . worst app I've ever seen bring back a remote control when you sale a product like this nothing better than spending $200+ on product and app doesn't work .

Just doesnt work at all on my S10. Cant connect. Had trouble with my S7 too, but at least it would connect occasionally.

App and pods suck! Every color has a tint of 2 or more colors in! App never works!

I got the update and now the app doesn't want to work and my lights stayed on and I cannot turn them off.

Liked the app until the January 7, 2020 update when it stopped working. Can you undo the update?

$300 rock lights later and with I wouldnt gotten the dang remote. DO NOT WASTE YOU YIME WITH THIS APP.

It just doesn't work. I've called heise tech support and they were unable to help diagnose what the problem was. Luckily the control box came with a RF remote so I can use some of the light functions that way.
