When you type with Helakuru, this feature will predict the words as you type so that you can just select your preferred word from predictions without typing it entering letter by letter. It will make your typing speed much faster saving your valuable time. Helakuru Prediction also supports self-learning so that the new words you type which are not in Helakuru word database such as person names, nicknames, location names & etc will be automatically saved in to Helakuru database & predict them whenever you type those words again.
* Bilingual support:Helakuru supports both Sinhala & English Input, so that you even don't need to switch to a different Keyboard to type in English. Just tap the (a -> අ) button to switch between Sinhala & English.
* Keyboard Layouts:If you're familiar with Standard Wijesekara keyboard layout to type in Sinhala, you can use that. But if you're not, Helakuru makes your life easier by introducing a Sinhala phonetic (transliteration) layout. With that you can easility type Sinhala phonetically as "ammaa" for "අම්මා" in the same way you type SMS in Singlish.
* System-wide supportHelakuru is not just an app, where you can type in Sinhala only in that app. It's a Standard Android Keyboard which you can use to type in any app system-wide whether it is Messaging app, Facebook app, twitter app or etc.
* Sinhala Unicode RenderingHelakuru comes with the in-built Sinhala Unicode Rendering Technology innovated by Bhasha Lanka, so you can type in Sinhala even if your device does not support Sinhala. I am using this app since released but now there are many problems... some notifications are not coming and delayed...(in my samsung galaxy tab S3) I even use huawei appgallery version. (Nova 7se) In that even එසැන is not working... no picture and not showing news... and no a single notification. I waited a long time for solving this prob... But it is there pls solve this 😖😖
I'm using this app. Before 4 days I reloaded my mobile using helakuru. It was unsuccessful. I get a notification that refund that money. But I did not get my money yet to my bank account. This is the second time. I inform it helakuru by their supporting E mail. They have not any response yet. Do not reload money using helakuru.
This was a very good app earlier. But now there are multiple bugs. Notifications appear later than their posted time and some of them cannot be opened. I cant comment on Esana posts. Its saying that "Data obtaining faliure" Please make this right
This app was my favorite & using for 5 years. Now app doesn't work properly from resently. So I re-installed it yesterday for many times. But If I'am typing anything, suddenly crashes the keyboard. Also "no data" appears when I type anything in the Helakuru opinion site. This happened in both my android phones. Please fix it soon.
Really useful app. If you can add a refresh button or swipe down to refresh to එසැණ it would be really helpful.

This is temporary review. Why the developers are try to collect phone numbers instead of e mails addresses. This is really bad i think. In the previous version we can access through e mails addresses but now need enter phone number. This could be a privacy problem. Please add a e-mail option to the sign up option. I think new update not work very well. always coming close app option.mainly its not working with very well either.my friend has a this problem also.
Uninstalled this app.Not working properly. Always crashes. Notifications are delayed. So many problems....
TOTAL GARBAGE. The worst keyboard app ever. Do not buy/use this garbage. App is crashing constantly. Tried to buy premium. Even their payment gateway is not working properly. Moved to Desh keyboard which is very stable compared to this.
I got a problem on E channeling and reloading. Then I reinstalled, but still I can't find a solution for this. I got all these issues on this new update. Please fix this.
This app is very useful. But i can't upload comments in news section .Always showing there is a difficulty retrieving data.☹️
Please fix the reload option issue. I couldn't reload since two weeks. And already updated to the latest version. Please fix it. Its very convenient for me.
Just installed in my Samsung S21 Ultra with UI4 Android 12. Did not asked to add Helakuru as my default keypad. But I was able to do it manually. So far working well. I will give feed back if need any improvement. Thank you Helakuru. One of the very useful apps and make my life easy. Cheers..!!!
Keypad එක ගොඩක් responsive නෑ. සිංහලෙන් ටයිප් කරද්දි මිස් වෙනවා වැඩි. It feels like there are empty spaces within keys. Mostly the space key. Switching to this keypad from google is not easy. As a service, its good.
This is really helpful for sinhala typing and english as well. The only thing went wrong * unfortunately some times when writing by english i want's check is my word correct or not. Some times the word correction facility isnt worked thats the only thing i want's inform.* overall it's really cool one..👍🖤

App gets white screen at the startup only showing ආයුබෝවන් and no receiving news notifications. 😐 Android 12

This app is not working on S22 Ultra.i am so struggling without this app.only keyboard is working right now in my mobile.please check it.
A suggestion. ! Is it possible to implement a way to copy content directly from contacts app and massaging app using a method like short code.? Ex: type #cont_amal to display a dropdown menu which can select the contact detals of amal to send throughmassage etc.
Nothing bad to say here.. this is the best sinhala typiyng app for sure.. and also contains with breaking news and important news about the country so we know whats going on because people dont have time to watch television and all that .. ( some people dont know about this powercut time table areas and how the letters work this Is a suggestion.. please repost the areas)
I have been a Pro user since they have introduced the feature. lately I have found out 2 issues. Main issue was in portrait mode, keyboard becomes congested making it hard to type even though there is space in the bottom part for the keys to spread. I have sent them an email in March describing the issue with photos attached, but no reply, then in April I contacted them in messenger & asked what happened, they promised me they will get back to me. Still no reply. So i decided to remove pro
Do not ever use this app for reloads. You will never get your money. I have used it for mobitel reloads. Missing my money now

I think its not support to new Huawei mobile phone, bcoz its disappear while typing Helakuru keyboard.
Very useful and user freindly one. But can't add gn ,ghaana in sinhala. That's only problem.
I paid to remove all the ads in the app, I paid LKR.499/= for the annual subscription to remove the ads. They didn't remove the ads, so I contacted them but they still haven't removed the ads for me. This is just terrible customer service. I am extremely disappointed in these service providers.
