Helicopter Services has been located at 19931 Stuebner Airline Rd in Spring Texas for over thirty years. Ever since the inception of the training division in 1979, Helicopter Services has graduated hundreds of students into the helicopter market. With quality training a 98% success rate has been maintained. Helicopter Services has gained a strong reputation with employers worldwide, successfully placing graduates in almost every area of the industry. We provide currency training for instructors, government employees and helicopter Air Carriers.In 1996 Helicopter Services began commercial transportation operations with a single Aerospatiale (Eurocopter) AS-350-B2. We have grown to 3 AS-350’s providing services to the Oil and Gas industry in the Gulf of Mexico. We also provide training in 2 R-44’s and 3 R-22’s for Private, Commercial and Certified Flight Instructor training. Our Fly-it simulator offers pilots an opportunity to obtain and maintain their Instrument Certificate and Flight Instructors Instrument Certificate at a more reasonable rate. Along with the flight training we provide pipeline patrol, aerial photography, real estate and constructions site surveys and tours around the Houston area. Helicopter Services was selected to provide helicopter services for the filming of “Courage Under Fire”, “Arlington Road” and “Evening Star”.Helicopter Services is housed in a fully-renovated facility including hanger and office space totaling 19,200 square feet at David Wayne Hooks Airport (KDWH) in Spring, Texas. Conveniently located a short distance northwest of Houston’s George Bush Intercontinental Airport, Hooks is set in a relaxed country atmosphere but is a convenient distance to all that Houston has to offer.
