Hello Expense

Been using this app for around 8 years or more. Very simple and useful. But maybe you can add an optional "Remarks" field? Memo field is where the name/title of the expense item go. Optional Remarks field is where you note some details like where you bought the item and etc. I hope you consider my suggestion. :)

My phone got stolen again and my expense data is gone again. It just frustrating that with the all the effort in put into writing all my expenses is wasted. I'm using the app for 4 years and I think they should have like automatic cloud back up but there isn't. It nice to be part of my life and also good bye

Please help! In a previous review Alin wrote the response quoted below. My S9 phone was recently stolen, but I got a new phone which has the same Google account. How do I restore my data onto my new phone? Thanks in advance... "Google backup has been reliable so far and I haven't heard issues reported from other users. If the new phone has the same Google account and the same carrier, data should be restored automatically. If you're still experiencing backup/restore issue, please let me know."

The tag string is a bit short to describe some stuff or names with long txt strings like thai names... 128 character length would be nice. Also it would great to be able to sort entry not by just by recent entry eg. date, item or amount would be great additions too.

Fly like a butterfly, sting like bee. So simple yet powerful. But how I wish that there is a something like switch botton for the cents (.00), like on/off.. So that you can turn if off if you don't need the cents.

Hi Alan, I was checking the Year view to compare 2 or more years of expenses.When I tap and hold on any of the year it should get selected and "Compare(Beta)" button comes. But I observed when I tap on a particular year, it is selecting a different year automatically. IE, if there are 5 years of data, 2017-2021, then if I tap and hold 2017 and then 2018, it internally selects 2021 & 2020.Then if I click on Compare, the result actually compares 2021 vs 2020, not 2017 vs 2018. Can you pls fix it?

THE BEST SIMPLE APP! Super useful. I'm glad I found this. All I need is here and it won't take a lot of storage on my phone compare to apps that take a lot of space.

I m using this app since -+2016, this must have an option of auto sync for it's Data. So whenever we re-install this App on any new device it auto restore data e.g Google contact list ...

Nice but following are required. 1. More tax rates as in India, different Category items have different tax rates (GST). 2. TAX- button required to sometimes subtract the tax. 3. Indian currency separator e.g. 12,34,56,123.00. One major concern: Will I be able to import sdcard backup in future in Android 11 phone?

Nice simple and small size app to maintain daily financial transaction.smooth functionality as well .

Super simple to use, straight to the point and very well designed app. Makes capturing expenses very fast, without the clutter or extra steps others apps require. best expense tracker on google play. i love it so much. i use this app from last 6 to 7 year approx.

Having lost some data when I migrated phone due to Google's unreliable data backup system, I suggest some kind of automated backup. Since it's very fast, why not have an option to auto backup every time the user open the app but only once per day. Alternatively have a backup option more easily accessible, now it needs 5 presses to backup up the data locally.

I had exported my data in CSV format but when I try to import it, I am getting error that CSV file is corrupted. I am not able to import my 2 years data. Please do something about it. Otherwise its simple and neat application. Giving 3 star due to this issue only. Updates (7-Nov-17): I wish it has option for repeat expenses. I need to move to other app due to this missing feature. Please add repeat expenses feature and improve export and import even if its paid. Updates (10-Nov-17): Thanks a lot for response. Now i can say its perfect and simple app. Hats off to the team for developing such a useful app that too without any adds. 31 Mar 2018: Can someone please tell me how to take auto backup or sync? My phone is going to be formatted and I am afraid of loosing data as the normal backup didnt import all data correctly. Thanks Update (16-oct-2018) After update I had lost all my 2 years data except April2018 onwards data remained. Don't know what to do now.

I have tried at least 5 other cash book app. But at the end i settle for this one. Very user friendly. Clean layout. Exporting to Excel is easy. Good search function. One suggestion, on the Export page if you could choose up to date that would be just great. Thanks to the team for a great App. Please check on the export page you can't go back date or month. But you can go back year. Such a user friendly App. Pls look in to the issue

Easy to use, smart and functional. Have been using it for the past 2 years, with no regrets. Password protection could be added as a feature, which would be helpful. Update: It has now been 4 years since my review above, and my association with this app is still going strong. I'd like to point out that Google backup & restore doesn't work for me either. Everytime I change phones, I sync via Bluetooth. This works, and I'm happy. A useful feature could be the ability to schedule backups to Google Drive.
