readings only sync if you have the app open when you take the reading. they do not sync up later. also, the app doesn't store your password, so, you have to enter it EVERY time you open the app.
I enrolled in this as a benefit of my health insurance. it's an easy to use app and the blood pressure machine is great quality. The app sends you ideas and suggestions to lower BP, improve diet choices, or just simply educate. I found those small tidbits, called hints, to be interesting and useful.
Very easy to use, quick set up. The device gave me more trouble than the app. I wish there was a way to leave notes with significant changes, that way outside factors like work, stress, an event or particular foods could reveal trends in very high or very low pressure. That could be a way to understand and change certain behaviors. That would definitely get 5 stars from me.
it allows me to see how my blood pressure varies through the day and week. With some attention, that helps me understand what behaviors impact it.
I can no longer view "Insights". The app crashes everytime I click that tab.
Great way to keep check on your BP readings. Conveniently sends information to your cell phone as a tracker. Easy access to your numbers to provide to your physician
still trying to figure out how to get a report beyond current month, support pointed me in the right direction. I wonder if their are any YouTube videos on how to use the app...
Mediocre. The biggest problem is you cant set reminder times on your own. You have to choose from their options. The buttons are also super finicky. Sometimes they work and sometimes you have to hit them 10 times before they work. No, it's not my phone. Great potential, but really need to give the user control on setting reminder times. Also, need a way to save the login password.
Fine app, and pairs with a cuff over BT nicely. But the self-satisfied jingle sound when it records a reading can't be disabled and is really annoying. Even worse is the REALLY LOUD NOISE when you mark a tip as "helpful". I mark these all as "unhelpful" because that doesn't make a noise. With an option to disable sound, this app would get 5 stars. Yep, they're that annoying!
Every time you do anything in this app, like read a pop-up, or complete any task, it makes a LOUD chiming sound. It is much louder than any other notification coming from my phone. Everyone around me hears it and they think I'm playing a game on my phone. It goes off ALL THE TIME. I contacted support and they replied, "Please toggle your phone to silent". Thanks for being condescending. I'm a developer, it's simple to add a sounds option to app settings, but it's clear they just don't care.
App crashes as soon as I login it closes. It also does not sync automatically. The app seems to load data when I follow the instructions on the app to take a reading. It does not upload the data to.the cloud or auto sync. That part is annoying. Livongo was automatic. I'd chose Livongo over this app. Let's get this app fixed asap.
handy tool in conjunction with a blood pressure machine. it took time as in one years to make it a habit and it's been invaluable, I found out I had a problem that was almost impossible to diagnose without daily readings.
Readings vary during multiple tries, going from high to low. It squeezes really hard at first then less with successive tries
Once you get the hang of using all the benefits of Hello Heart you will start seeing your health improvement.
Doesn't link to Google Fit. I supposedly pulls data from Google Fit but there's no way to send data to Google Fit.
The app started having login issues from the past few weeks. Eveytime i had to click on forgot password, which sends temporary password and link to reset password. But clicking on the link just hangs in the login screen. Email to support also didn't help. Tried reinstalling, clear cache, but no use. Update: After the recent software update, i'm able to login. I'm still reducing one star, I had sync issues after first few readings. Clearing the app data and starting it from scratch seems to work, hopefully no more hiccups.
