Honestly, its not bad. But not only could it be better. It straight up needs to get better. The controls stick too often, the movements are too wofty and laggy. As for the graphics, it would be nice if they could be adjustable. And by that, I mean that I want to be able to increase and enhance them more. They look very, shall we say,.. lackluster. This really needs maintenence, as well an update,.. or three. It IS pretty well done so far, but could really be done better. I'm Just sayin', is all.
Super Difficult! I lost count on how many times I actually yelled, "Stop throwing stuff!!" Trying to carry items, move, and jump all at the same time ends with throwing the item somewhere, and it is lost forever. Not cool when you need the item to progress through the game! I actually threw my umbrella when using it to glide. I died.
This game is amazing! I'm surprised you guys were able to Port it over to mobile but there's one issue I've been having on act 3, after a certain amount of time trying to complete it I would lose the red key and the crowbar, making me restart the whole act again just to retrieve them. This bug is annoying and I hope it'll be fixed so I can actually finish the act and continue this awesome game.
This game has it's own pros and cons. And, to be frank, I don't exactly know what to think of it. Firstly, the controls are okay but still need adjusting. Secondly, the neighbour is either smart or just really broken. Thirdly, the graphics are awful and very pixely. In addition, the lag spikes aren't helping, at all. Lastly, who wants to watch ads just to respawn? Nobody. From a company this big, with many popular titles, I was not expecting this. In conclusion, the game needs to be fixed.
This was fun, but the reason I'm giving it a 4 star is because you can get really scared to go into his house and that is the only way you escape, there are other levels that you have to level up for the basement, it is on a phone yes, but sometimes it does not save your progress it is good but kinda annoying, you cannot change to the other levels even if you want to. It tells you what the controls are but sometimes that dosent help always.
It's a really amazing app! Honestly I love everything! The graphics are great and it's smooth, no lagg! But the only thing that has been bothering me is that I can't throw properly. The items don't go far they just kind of get in the air and drop in front of me. I can't even break the windows by first try. It might just be my phone but if it's not you might need to fix that :) overall it's just great!
The game is really fun, I love it...though there's something that's bothering me and is driving me mad. Every time I get caught, obviously I have to restart where it last saved, but it loads and loads and loads. It never goes back to the game so I have to close the game restart. Really restart like I don't have the tools in my inventory anymore gotta go back and get them and that's annoying.
It was good until a recent update which made the game visually worse. Basically it added tall grass, pretty normal, right? Nope, the grass has a black outline and looks very poorly made. And it increased the crosshair size from being quite small to extremely large. If you could add an option to remove extra grass and to make the crosshair smaller, it would be great. Honestly a good game aside from those things and that you have to pay $30 to unlock the full version.
The controls have literally made me get stuck because I couldn't climb, great job, next time try to create a game that lets you do something that is needed to keep going on the story. After further consideration I decided to give it a 3 star, the controls are still not well made. However, after some effort, I found myself enjoying the game's puzzles...
It was amazing. I too faced glitches but if you just go to the home screen and tap on the game It would work. You have to do this several times when you still can't enter the main menu or act. I felt it was challenging somewhat. Most of the times I refered YouTube videos to help me finish the act. I learnt that u have to explore the place and try all possible ways. I found it thrilling.
If it were not for the controls I would've rated higher but when you're trying to escape from someone and your movement is hesitant and slow, you're bound to get caught. It brings a level of frustration that should not be there. I'm not sure if it was done that way on purpose or is the result of hurried release but either way it needs attention. There's a ton of potential here that could result in a fantastic adventure but until it's realized and updated it remains a dreaded trip to the dentist!
I love this game it's really challenging and fun! it's also for the ones who can't get it on computer/xbox. I thought id never get to play hello neighbor! I would recommend downloading. the graphics are nice and look exactly like hello neighbor. the controls are fantastic! there's no lag at all! that's so amazing!
The game is alright however the graphics look awful compared to other mobile games and not a lot of sounds can be heard in this game. Overall this doesn't reflect what I've seen of the PC game. If the graphics get more options like anti aliasing and the sound effects from the game get put into this one then it would be worthy of 5 stars but gonna have to give it 3 for now. I do like the game itself though
A near 1:1 port of the original game for Android. A no BS, watch an ad for failing, F2P model or the option to disable advertisements all together for the full price of the game. Definitely a game you should play with a controller, which is supported and feels as good as the original. A fair warning however, this game has very janky controls combined with some incredibly glitchy physics so takes some getting use to, after which you're playing one of the most atmospheric puzzle games created!
The reason I gave 2 star is that it is not an optimised game. I was in the final act and I would have finished the game but, due to less render distance I can't interact with the switch which will turn on the toaster. So I'm completely stuck. I would really like the developers to look after the issue, or else this game is quite good but little bit glitchy.
this game is very unique... well somewhat, I love this game it's very fun. though I have some problems, glitches are pretty common if you think about it. Some improve the game (in a funny way) and some others are... meh... my point is they ruin the game I'm mostly talking about flinging the player, though that's not my main concern, a very strange bug that bothers me is that the hand animation doesn't really work, it only plays in act 2, in the rest it doesn't... please fix it.
I have just downloaded this game, and I am experiencing a problem. When the app loads on my device, it keeps lagging. To be more specific, it keeps going from the loading screen straight to the 'tinybuild' homescreen thing, with the neighbor on the side, and then back again. I don't know what is going on, my wifi is fine, my chromebook is in good condition, so it must be the app. Please fix this, I really want to play this game, but I cannot access it from any of my other devices.
The gameplay for my galaxy s8 plus was not laggy at all, but did experience unresponsive movement for my character (such as my character would move left and right when wanting to go forward when holding thumb down but its seem like a easy fix.) Needs graphic improvements or options for the user to change to their liking. Other than that,very smooth and functions just like the consoles.
I like the game but tiny build please update it some more because it is getting a bit boring and can you please add the save option so we can continue from what we had left from when unistalled and installed again. Thank you. Peace. Yeah and 1 more thing, actually kind of a tip. So here it is. So sometimes glitches become irritating. Right? But do not let glitches stop you. Us gamers like the glitches and laugh and love it. Well, not all of us are perfect. So continue TinyBuild, with games.
Love the game and I can't believe its free! I haven't finished it yet I'm on act three and I can tell a lot of work was put into this game. Love the puzzle aspect and the challenging parts if it! I will admit I had to use a walkthrough on certain parts only to find out I'm dumb for missing those parts lol does glitch a little after the neighbor catches you but it fixes it's self in about 10seconds or if not hit the home button then reopen it and it fixes it
Fantastic! Game is fun and challenging with a storyline being laid out with short, playable cutscenes. The graphics/physics are a little quirky, nothing that prohibits playing. Ads only play if you get caught and do not interrupt the game. I havent completed it, but am thoroughly enjoying the game and am glad it was brought to android.
This is an amazing game. Whenever the ads come up dont press disable ads you can click the cross and itll give you an option, usually they use that when theres a reward you're claiming but you can just press close ad. I tried it out the first day I got it and it worked! And also for beginners you could add like some small instructions, especially for the 1st basement you go to because I found it a bit tricky but overall I enjoyed it!!
unplayable, galaxy S8, screen is constantly flashing red, whenever i look at the neighbour the red covers the entire screen, even when im just trying to walk, looking in his general direction does it. (through walls and floors too) controls are unresponsive, movement randomly stops working requiring a jump to move again which makes it impossible to escape. 'device not supported' then why was it even released considering this is a flagship device for galaxy.
Don't waste the time it takes to install it. The pixel density and graphics are incredibly low to the point where you hardly even know what you are playing, and despite this it still runs at 7fps even on flagship devices. It is almost completely unplayable, and the ads are sure you get on your nerves. However they are optional if you pay the microtransaction of $14.99USD. It is clearly a unoptimized, bad port of the game from PC. That's why I give this game a score of 8/100.
I probably hate this. The graphics are trash, the game is trash and if we have had graphics, at least give be us the full game with out 23 dollars! It would be better to buy on PC. Do not recommend. I love tinybuild games. The game is great but the graphics are trash. Would rate well if itet up to my expectations, and frankly my expectations have unfortunately been lowered dramatically.
I'm giving it two stars before playing it simple because I had a hard time even getting it to download at all. Every time it would get close to done or half way it would suddenly stop downloading for no reason. Now that it downloaded let's see how it runs. Edit: Open the game only to met by a screen asking how old I am. The number "5" was already there. After that I couldn't click on anything and had to exit out. I don't feel like trying again. One star.
It great to be able to play this and it runs great. The movement needs fixed I can't walk slowly it's always making me run ar full speed. The touch control won't let the joystick go into the center to let me walk.
It's good. But some problems, I can't really move much and it take about 10-20 minutes to let me in the game. It's fun and I like to explore. But sometimes there is adds in the middle when I'm being chased/ logs me out and needs to wait again. Please fix that. Good game anyway.
it was supposed to be a good game, but the glitches, confusing controls, bad and glitchy AI and physics, hard puzzles and parkours, map errors, and several other mistakes made this game terrible. I really hope that Hello Neighbor 2 will fix these mistakes and at least become an actually good game. Overall, the best thing in the game is the soundtrack.
Could you pls make a Co-op for mobile phones? It would be more fun as we could goof around with each other or work together! Edit: I'm playing on an S9+ and it's not supported but the game still works fine, but sometimes when i log into the game the game crashes when i off my Mobile Data. Another bug is that when I used a flashlight some things will become invisible and I am not able to see it for example, the escalator at the train station. If you could fix these bugs there would be a better experience.
