Hello Pal: Talk to the World

To me... This app used to be a lot better, the recent update has really messed things up for me with this app. 1. It won't notify me of others sending messages to me... Like, at all. I have to literally go on the app a few hours later to see if any messages, and I check and yup, i was right. Got messaged, didn't get notified. And 2. Whenever I try to edit it delete a photo... It won't change, if stays to the old photo no matter what. So I pretty much just have a set profile pic now.

I am disappointed. I'd say it's great for sexting (if that's your thing!). Bad, if you thought you'd find a decent language exchange partner! The app itself work fine. Few times it won't let you change the settings. And I cannot set it to find specific languages. 13 year old to 19 year old contact me, and I'm 39. Bit awkward for me. Not what I expected.

If you're looking for an app to make friends from different countries for language exchange purpose, or travel guiding, it's fantastic, lets u filter ppl by gender, age, country, language,... To find the right pal, doesn't ask u to spend money on every small feature. However u wouldn't have incredible chat/voice quality, ex. The texts in chat are not synced immediately, and sometimes u get the message in the chat a minute after u get it in notif bar. In general I found the app quite helpful

The idea is great .. but the searching is very ennoying .. first it makes auto refresh let say you are at the 100th person and when the app makes refresh you comeback to the top so you have to slide down to comeback .. second if you want to see someone picture you have to enter his profile then you can see his pic in big , just change the view to mosaic or something where the picture looks bigger ,and third its very hard to talk to someone, it took very long time , maybe you could add an automatic search that match both persons .ty

It's a good penpal/social media app, however the most recent update push is confusing. Sometimes photos will post, the ones that don't are likely too big. I've changed the size of photos to have them fit or be a smaller size, but there doesn't seem to be consistency as to what photos will not post.

I love this app a lot. It is addictive. I have met so many different people from around the world and learned about different cultures. However, this app is constantly freezing up and glitching. Currently I am unable to follow people and the app is lagging. I cannot even view others photos. Ive already reinstalled, logged out, etc.

I have been using this app almost one year and i was not having any problem.. since they started updating their version things started got worst. If i point on the chat button I can't even see all my friends. non of my friends will even appear. Also if i text message to new pals it doesn't send.... If this keep going i think i have to uninstall it.

I think is a good App, but I have a problem when deleting text, I'd also add an option to edit the moments once you have uploaded them. And the huge problem is that It's too slow sometimes! But after that, the App is too entertaining and interesting!

The new update is not good at all! 1. I'm not getting notifications for any replies that I get from people on moments, neither am I getting notifications for any likes on my own moments! 2. Also, the last seen feature for chats has been removed, which is terrible. 3. The Hellopal support talks in Chinese language only. Kindly add support for more languages. The only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1 is because the UI is better. I'll gladly update the review when these issues are fixed.

Nice app to meet new ppl around the world, learn languages n so on, whether it through random status-reply or find a pal manually. Verification quite long n in the middle period of use that the words we're typing is gettin falsely, like automatic word prediction, lil weird due to automatic prediction feature in keyboard was off. I think Hello Pal provider has to sollve this bug..

An amazing app to meet the locals and improve your language skills. There are a lot of people on this app that don't use it for the purpose it was made for but you can still find some great people if you keep looking. Great for talking about culture too.

DON'T UPDATE YOUR APP! After the update, the app started going crazy. I can't even view livestreams properly; my messages don't show up. And I can't even start start my own livestream, I get stuck every time. I'm about to uninstall this app.

There is someone who is logged off since two weeks ago, who liked a post, this is...strange. What is weird is that, seconds upon the post update, someone likes it even though they don't even understand the language I type in. I wonder if those people are not bots. This is turning to Instagram and not a learning tool. Also the vault doesn't activate.

New version is horrible! The worst update i've ever seen🤬 I can’t even attach photos to moments! And age... what's wrong with it? Why I became a year older?!🤣 There ALWAYS are different errors with the app.

✔️Create friends globally and learn other languages and culture. ❌ Make all rules about the events available in English since not all of us can understand Chinese. And the number of follower is not updated(I mean it doesn't match) in your profile and when you click your icon upon watching or doing a livestream. Lastly, hopefully they remove the 5 minute video call. That's all thank you for creating such app!

I like it. Its more stable now. The only issue i had that it was very unstable and used to get disconnected all the time. Now its better. However the online function has been removed now. You cant tell if someone's online

Bad service, the app is always crashing, I sent some feedbacks and I never had answer. Now, the app doesn't open. I sent an email to support, and they never answered me.

its way to buggy, now it wont even let me see my messages even though I just updated it. and it wont let me ignore ppls messages. like when I click on the ignore option it just dosnt do anything. when is this app gonna get a real bug fix

It's not a bad app..I met interesting and nice people.. however I feel this app should have a block option where people you choose to ignore can't see your post because there's people who actually do harass and they can still see your pictures. If you ignore a person they shouldn't be able to see you or anything you post. And also have an option to actually delete a new chats inside of it filling up the chats.. people should have the option of deleting new chats and trash not save them.

I can't increase my trust score by inputting my number cos it's always saying it can't store my mobile number due to trust records. I haven't had any record with them before so why should it say that. this prevents me from chatting with anyone or even learning another language which was my main purpose of installing the app. Too bad guys

I am facing serious safety issues. I guy continuously sending me abusive messages. I can't block him, can't stop that. and they are not taking any action. I tried 23 times and it's not working ( I can't stop that messages).

I have been on this app for a year but the update happened and I really hate it I have lost contact with my friends and the old messages I want it back to normal I have deleted this if you look in the software many people hate it change it back.

everything going well in application but it doesn't want to send messages , hope see my feedback and fix this problem . and i deleted the app and reinstall it but it doesn't work
