Hello Quantum

Think quantum computing is hard? Maybe, maybe not, or maybe both at the same time? Explore the building blocks of quantum mechanics in a series of puzzles.

The rules of how to play Hello Quantum are easy to pick up, yet tricky to perfect. But by mastering them, you'll be learning key behaviors in the mysterious world of quantum mechanics to progress forward.

Helpful for learning the basics of quantum computing. You can do the puzzles without really learning anything, or read the Learn More sections. My main complaint is that there's very few puzzles. I never would have expected such enjoyment out of an app by IBM.

This app is for the understanding how Quantum gates works. They works differently than classical system from this app ibm is trying to create interest in the people's for Quantum computing that together we can explore more in it. While Playing this puzzle we can understand how Quantum gates works. According to me this is awesome app for basic understanding of some gates.

Good fun but too easy. Finished in 10 ish minutes and isn't a direct representation of qubits. More levels please. Maybe a free mode? With some matrix multiplication? And more gates? Or 3 qubits? I'd happily write it for you

Awesome as a game but a disaster as an intro to Quantum computing. I know a little bit of quantum computing and cannot figure out how QC relates to what's taught in the game. Completely misleading the new comers. What's funny is many people gave five stars thinking they are actually learnt Quantum computing (in my eyes it's more of a sin, miss-guiding people). Didn't expected IBM to come up with something like this which even QC experts cannot relate to actual QC.

This game is a novel concept that ends just as it's getting good. A sandbox mode would be nice, but clearly IBM would rather you start using their online platform instead.

Before this game all I knew were z basis measurements in Qiskit. Then I got the x basis measurements and a feel for what gate operations might look like on a 2D grid. Perfect.

Thought I would learn about quantum computing. Did not learn anything about quantum computing Edit: Click the well hidden "learn more" button at the bottom of the screen to read how quantum computing works, and how it relates to the puzzles you're solving

Nice game. One feature request: add an "experiment" mode whereby the player can insert values wherever they want and use any of the gates.

I enjoy the difficulty of the game. I also appreciate the connection to Quantum Computing.

This game is short, fun, and not very difficult. It isn't realistic, but it wouldn't be very fun otherwise. It works on limited hardware.

I understand some QC but I still cannot figure out where the input and output qubits are and in general what the hell is going on... CZ gate is seriously underexplained. What exactly is the purpose of this game? For the children to say woah so cool or the experts to refer this to funding bodies? Seriously, the game needs a complete overhaul.

A bit more priority on the physical meaning would be desirable. I have no clue about what mean the four central cells, or how can they be translated into a tridimensional spin vector.

Wonderfull experinece. As a beginner it helps a lot to ubderstand what really quantum is. My suggestion is to improve more features

great experience with quantum puzzles... first I played like a puzzle but after level 1 I took learn more then it helped me with fun...

Very nice intro to qc and thought - provoking as well. Still a long way to go b4 we can reach out for the stars though!

Good short puzzle game, but I wish it had freeplay to explore this weird qubit representation

Ren. Z. Sep 29, 2020

Haven't played it. For an unknown reason the game rules, written in English, contain grammatical errors.

Cool game. Easy to understand. Very useful for understanding how quantum system works!

The app is complety off target you will never build a quantum computaion system if this is the type of gates you are building your quantum frame with no wonder you have superposition collapes and noise issues i rate your app a 0 for the fact its nowhere near right if you would like me to explain im happy to

For problems like these an image recognising AI would do much better than a quantam computer trying out many combinations

Very helpful in conceptualizing how quantum bits quarrelate and ultimately compute. Thank you

One of the best open source Quantum computing learning platform

Without the capability of IBM Ireland and the Irish training Authority known as AnCO in 1985 the capability of the Quantum chip would hardly have taken place

i apparently completed all the puzzles in half an hour. i need more puzzels. what I'm supposed to do now, play candy crush?

Avi. k. Oct 13, 2019

It was awesome. However I expected a more elaborate experience.

I'm enjoying this very much. It's new to me but I WILL master this
