I feel cheated and tricked into an order. I had suspended all orders that were available at the time because it is close to impossible to cancel the subscription unless you google where to do it (which I ended up doing). The app doesn't notify you of the upcoming orders nor that anything new is available so unless you go there proactively, it will never tell you anything. To me it lacks transparency - it's really counting on the fact that you'll forget to cancel so that they can charge you.

Love the service and variety of options. No issues with the food itself, but the app is horrible right now. I can't stay logged in and when I try to log in with my username and password it says there is an error. So every single time I want to log in, I have to wait for a email link to get in. Very inconvenient and frustrating. It worked fine for the year I've been using it and now nothing but app issues.

I've been with HelloFresh for going on 2 years. I like the service, but there have definitely been hiccups with supply chain, packaging, and quality. My current frustration is the app doesn't get the offer pop-ups and I don't use the website because the app is encouraged. When I try to use the mobile website, I can't activate offers, so I'm not getting the best experience or deals. I also don't see these "gifts" in the app either, and can't activate them. What happened to free samples in boxes?

My box did not arrive on time. I went into the app. Clicked on my box and went into the handy chat feature, yes someone was there to chat with (10pm central time). It was frustrating not getting my box on time but they handled my issues with care and importance. I did get a full refund due to not getting fresh food, even though it was the couriers fault! I am super impressed with how the situation was handled!

I've seen a lot of reviews for the app not working. It works well on my end! No issues! IMO it's fair priced Costs less than take-out and a little more than groceries, but you get no food waste and it's delivered. I would usually throw away so much leftover ingredients I thought I was going to use and never did and since nobody likes groceries I'd eat takeout instead It's neatly packaged and was all well preserved when it arrived!! I also live in a town left of nowhere so that's good!

The app is not the best. 1. In the home screen, after the name, there's some text that's not visible and truncated length wise. 2. Immediately after we receive the box, the app shows that the box has been delivered, and the screen freezes and I had to close and reopen the app many times. 3. The delivery time window is not clearly visible anywhere in the app.

It would be great if they could get this app to work and deliver the food that was ordered. It's buggy with not saving changes and a huge waste of time for no box to arrive for multiple weeks. It's also hard to tell when you are being charged extra until I saw my weekly bills were more than twice the price expected. Yikes! We were surprised to learn that many meals have an upcharge. This isn't clear when you order. Most of the meals are pretty good but overall a very disappointing experience.

Every time I try to log into the app, it gives me an error. I logged into the website just fine, but some links redirect to the app and then they won't open. For as much as they charge compared to other boxes, you'd think the app would actually work. After the latest update, still can't log in on the app. Worthless.

Food options were great and many, at that! But they make it almost impossible to cancel. I tried it out, loved it, but it's just not for me at this time. May resubscribe but, they should definitely make it easier to cancel without continuing to charge my card. They lost stars for that

It took me 10 minutes to figure out how to cancel my plan. I had been skipping the meals, but they only let you skip so far in advance. A kit showed up because I forgot, now it is trash. So I wanted to cancel for the time being but now I will cancel forever. Because if a company hides their cancel button on their website but you can do everything else they offer on their app then they do NOT care about their customers. Good luck

As a type 1 diabetic that counts carbs, this is brilliant. It tells me the carb count in each portion which makes things a lot easier for me. I've only ever had an issue with the app once. It glitched but I deleted it and reinstalled it and the app worked fine. It's easy to navigate through, informs me of any delivery changes well in advance and I can pick my menus way ahead of time.

love it! we were really skeptical at first, we were told the portions were small, but we find them to be perfect for us. No leftovers but that is great, I am more a fan of leftovers. we are full after every meal. if there are ingredients we don't like I just leave them out, like onions. every meal has tasted wonderful. Plus , we have duplicated some of the recipes and keep all recipe cards for that purpose.

Currently I am giving a one star because I can't log into the app. Keeps giving me an error. I can still log on through my desktop, but not as convenient. Meal portions are decent, recipe options are sometimes repetitive, but overall pleased with the selections I've tried to date. Having just moved from Toronto to a small town, the one thing I really miss are the free samples. Rural folk like to try free stuff too! Not fair only major urban centers get the extra benefits.

I love the service. The meals are relatively easy to prepare (if you like cooking) it saves me the hassle of making out menus and finding all the bits and enviably having some waste at the end of the week. My major gripe is around the cost. The costs are the same regardless of whether you take the meat/fish option or the veg option. Other than that I can't fault them.

Impossible to cancel. Even when my subscription was finally deactivated they are still trying to charge my card which has luckily expired. There doesn't appear to be a way to speak to a human I have been able to find. Even though the food wasn't bad while we were using them the cancellation and auto renewal experience has made it feel like a scam.

there's no option to see the total cost of the order. there's no category list to make it easier to find meal types so I have to scroll through all the recipes to find the under 650cal. If using the method to cook it would help to have the amounts of any home added item like water in the step so you don't have to go back and forth (check out gusto site)

HelloFresh meals are great! You get 5 star meals at home. BUT it's VERY expensive. I buy 2 meals for myself and pay almost $60. One time i paid $70 because I didn't realize that I selected a premium meal(which wasn't all that). Also in the menu preferences in the app, it's basically pointless to pick one. They will continue to suggest meals outside of your preference.

The food is high quality and the entire concept it great, but cancelling the subscription is too complicated. The only make it seem easy. You click cancel, but then it asks you to confirm. When you confirm it asks you why you're cancelling. It's only after you give a reason and confirm a second time that your subscription is actually cancelled. This in my opinion is what scams do.

Although their Boxes and the recipes are great, their service is just terrible! When I got bad or wrong ingredients, I was promised refunds but never got any money. When a whole Box "went missing" I was promised to get a new one the next day but then just got a refund. I really would like to use this service but sadly it's just not reliable enough so I had to cancel it.

3 out of my first 5 deliveries had ingredients missing. That's a pretty bad %. I was reimbursed £5, but had to go out shopping to get the items myself. This not only voids its purpose, but also made me look silly when initially praising them to friends. Meals are great, but they should barcode scan every item for each meal before it's sent maybe.

It would help me a lot if I could see what I'm being charged for each box before it gets ordered. I can't find the cost of each thing anywhere. These boxes can be quite expensive so knowing the cost upfront would help be narrow down or increase what I want each week. Not knowing the price of each box makes me distrust the value of what I'm getting.

The food is fine, the concept is cool, but when you cancel, 1) it's not made easy for you to find where and how on the app, so I needed to connect the help center. 2) they say that you should cancel 5 days before your delivery. I did that. Cancelled on Monday, (delivery is on Sunday); thought I'm golden. But No!! It takes a few days to process, so I'm getting a 2nd box now which I don't want...?! Cheesy!!
