Much improved, but has to stop trying to turn on/off bluetooth. When using this app, I previously gave it a 1-star review. I still think offline usage is rough, but now that I'm in a new building it's working way better. That said, please please please stop trying to control my Bluetooth. It's nifty, but when my Bluetooth is already on, this app goes and turns it off after connecting to the machine - this shouldn't happen and leads to my Fitbit not syncing for hours if I don't catch it.

I haven't had an issue using the app so far (1 year & 2 months of use & Galaxy Note 8 phone). No crashes. The reason for my rating of 4 stars instead of 5, is the fact that you can't choose whatever amount you want when refilling besides the choices they have for you. Options are $10, $20, etc.. I want to select the exact amount I will spend & add it to my account when using. Besides that, no problems, & it's easy to use.

The app needs an upgrade. I can't add more than 12 min on the dryer at one time. I only get a notification of the cycle ending on the dryer after the first 12 min and not the whole amount of time I added. I also was not able to link the physical card to my account so I can reload it via the app. Overall great concept but need to follow through on the user experience.

I HATE this app. It's always changing and forcing me to reinstall and it comes with a bunch of problems. How is it on two separate phones, I cannot connect to the laundry? We only have Bluetooth in our laundry room and it's always asking us to connect to the internet now even when I turn on airplane mode. Honestly a frustrating experience I wish I never had to go through.

I like the idea of the app in relation to the machine. However, it runs much too slow. It needs to keep up with the time. Will rate 5- star when i see that change. 09/01/19 Update: I just found out today how to troubleshoot the app/machine connection. Put the phone in Airplane Mode to start the machine with the app...and it worked👌👍

Exceeds expectations. Easy to use. Good interface. Informative. You can automate transfers to your wallet in certain triggers. It reminded you when a job is done. It was also really easy to create an account using preexisting social media accounts. All in all a marked improvement over the old system.

This app is a piece of junk. For example, the ui is terrible, it won't let me enter my phone number, but instead pre-populates the input box with random digits as I try to type. Inaddition, this app requires access to all your media files, which is completely unnecessary. Whoever developed this garbage needs to learn how to code first.

Good, but it doesn't keep times left in your machines if you close the app, so that feature is pretty much useless Edit: the times now stay when the app is closed, but they are not accurate. I got a message that my laundry was done 12 minutes ago and when I went to the machine there was still 3 minutes on the timer. Edit: I like the new UI a lot but the notifications and cycles times are still early by ~10 minutes.

Desperately needs an option to choose how many minutes/cycles to purchase for dryers instead of scanning or inputting the machine number over and over again for every 12 minutes needed. Without this feature, you waste 5 minutes just standing in front of each machine waiting for the app to connect and purchase each cycle separately. Saving favorite machines would also help.

Very slow, not accurate in terms of which machines are available and which aren't, and many times can't establish a connection despite strong wifi or mobile connections. It's usable, but could and should be so much better

Not a bad app. Makes doing laundry easy and itll sometimes let you know your machine is done washing. I would say about 70% of the time it let's me know (not a big deal I always set an alarm). One annoying thing is that it kicks me out of the app a lot and I always have to resign in even though I signed in 3 min ago. Maybe have a "remember me" button as well. But this app does beat carrying around a ton of quarters

I would give this app 0 stars but they won't let you. This app is garbage! If you put money on the card it doesn't register on the balance in the app. If you misplace the card, you have to add money to the app as well. What's the purpose of having the app and the card if they aren't connected. The app has graphs to show you when the peak hours are but, in over a year I have yet to see any data on any of them. All in all, I've have Facebook games that are more useful.

Trying to register my account during a visit to America and despite having the functionality to use a UK mobile phone number to verify the account I've not received one code successfully. So I tried to use a friend's US number but your processes are so laggy that by the time he had texted me several codes the process had expired on your app. You need to add an email verification option.

This app is super flaky 1) I discovered after a lot of trial and error that I have to hold the phone within a few inches of the QR code on the machine so that the app can communicate over bluetooth. 2) Today, the machine kept guiding me to use the dryer function instead of the washer function. I had entered the correct machine number. Finally I chose one of the preset functions on the washer (normal/delicates), configured that and pressed start. That overrode the bug and got the washer working. Also, it's annoying that every action in the app takes over 5 seconds and I need to login every time I use the app.

Overall it works relatively well, however the biggest issue I see is the time remaining on the machines never being accurate. It will frequently tell me the cycle is done on the app and then show 10 minutes remaining on the machine when I go down to it.

Really annoying that this app even exists, it has no reason to and is a cash/data grab, plain and simple. Every single machine has a contactless reader, so it'd be possible to pay directly. Instead, we have to download an app, give them our personal data to make an account then top up minimum $10 even if you just want to spend $1.50 on a single wash. No reason at all for this app to exist outside of data harvesting and stealing your money, it's a disgrace

List of problems in order of how bad this app is: 1. My card shows no balance at all. I can see my balance just fine on web. Basically the app doesn't do one of the MAIN FUNCTIONS of the app. 2. Can't use the app without giving location permission. You don't need this. 3. Asks me for Bluetooth permissions every time I use the app. This violates Android rules on how you're supposed to so for permissions. 4. I have to log in every time.

[Update July 2021] A year and a half later, using a different, new, phone, this system is still garbage. It's clumsy, slow and unreliable. In a world with a dozen other reliable cashless payment systems, (ApplePay, GooglePay, others) why are we stuck with this mess? We'd be better going back to cash, at least it's reliable. I know the vendor likes the "breakage" but to the customer it's inexcusable. Unfortunately, if you're using this product, it's probably because your landlord has given you no other choice. All the more irritating. [Original review Feb 2020] Fails roughly half the time, even though I try every option to make it work. I'm glad I have a backup payment card.

App kind of works with my phone. It crashes here ans there and sometimes it takes more credit than it should when using the machines. I really didn't like that it forced me to do the raiting in order to keep using (the window asking to rate popped up every single time I tried to interact with it)

Dryers and washers don't connect, with me either getting logged out or the app shutting down. Having to use different ways to start the machines. Also don't like how the card and account aren't linked, as it wastes money and time. If the account fails, u have to put money on the card for it to work. Overall clunky and seems like a scam.

I like the app a lot. My building just upgraded the laundry machines so we can use this. Love the ability to see if machines are available and how much time is left on my cycle. My only complaint is that it is too slow and time consuming to add extra time to the dry cycle. I washed a big quilt and knew it would need an hour. but after the initial 30 minutes you can only add more time in 5 minute increments which seems silly. If you could input an about of time I would give it 5 stars

Worst app/laundry system. I have had different issues every time I do laundry since Hercules installed the new system. 1. The WiFi connection they set up in the laundry room (there's no signal) never works which means I cannot connect the app to the machine 2. The app cannot connect to the machines 3. Doors lock and machines don't start or don't unlock when the cycle is over Also they keep separate accounts for the app and the physical card so cannot use existing balance when either fails

The app itself is pretty easy to use but it could be far better. There is no way to select how much time for the dryer, you automatically have to start it at 54 minutes and can only add 7 minutes at a time immediately after you start it. It also does not tell you if a machine is in use which would be a nice feature. The system is down today and the machines do not accept coins so I can't do any laundry.

It's a good app when it works. Definitely need some sort of internet connection or it's useless. Also, it stopped showing the status of all the machines. So it's back to having to hope and pray no one is using the machines when i want to use it.

This app is horrible & it's Bluetooth connection ability is practically non-existent. All it does is take away money with rarely ever starting up a washer or dryer correctly. It's infuriating!!!

Horrible execution. And this means that company itself isn't reliable. App worked fine for just one day, then it stopped retrieving information about money on account and doesn't allow to use machines or money. App is constantly saying that it is a bad connection even on WiFi and other apps work perfectly, at the same time it can retrieve information about money on account when you trying to refill it. It appears that app just traps your money.

It does the job. Mobile refunds are only in 10 dollar increments, a slight annoyance. And the app requires internet to function making it slow in the laundry room because there's low signal, also a slight annoyance.

I love this app. It tells you the times you have remaining on each machine and it's extremely user friendly. Super easy to add funds and to also report a problem with a machine. Amazinggg

I added $20 few days ago, I used almost $8 to stay with a credit of aprox. $12. Today July 2nd, I wanted to entered to the app because I knew I had forgotten the password. Then the app shows to have sent me an email to reset a password however it's not arriving. Surprisingly the day that I was making the $20 transfer the email arrive right away. Well, today after the holyday weekend I was able to receive the reset email link so I will change the rating back to the first time I rated.

this gets a one star for 2 reasons. 1) it was insisting i rate the app after after time i used it to activate a machine. ill rate the app at a time of my chosing not when you demand i do it. 2) you cant add more than one cycle to a dryer at once. you need to repeat all steps for every cycle you wish to add.
