Hi, I have paid for the "Hermit Premium-Unlocker" app to unlock all the premium features in main app, but I have not found the Bookmarks option under Settings, nor does this app allow me to create a backup file. What's wrong with this app? Also, can you tell me where I can find my search history? I hope, my issues will be resolved asa your read this feedback. Awaiting for your reply.
Tldr-I am having a problem with accessing an important website to pay my bills and my requests for help have been ignored for over 2 years. I purchased the premium version twice, one for both me and my mother. I did this so that we could make more use of the space on our devices. For this purpose it works well. However, I keep getting an error message on one of the sites I use to pay my bills. I have tolerated this since March of 2020, after an initial contact I have heard nothing else since.
I only noticed the announcement regarding the swipe gesture today. My bad. I thought something was wrong with the app because the swipe gesture seemed to have been automatically disabled because I know for sure that I didn't manually set it. Thank you so much for developing the app!
Content blocker & popup blocker doesn't do anything ! I've tested this on 6 different websites, but i keep getting pop ups & continuous ads , please add an option to use ublock origin instead ! Otherwise great app ! I hope the Devs fixes this issue.
suggestion: be able to add folders subfolders within bookmarks. I have chosen to pay for this app, something I seldom do for ANY and ALL software I have used over a lifetime, I might add. So it's good enough for me to pay 4 that should say something
Update : Chimbori we're dedicated to fixing the problem for me. I guess I had to restart the device and press a check mark a few times before it finally worked, which it does consistently thank you! Unfortunately the sandbox function is not ready for prime time. I have 5 sandboxes for the same site, yet the login account stayed the same in all of them.
(Review shortened to fit edit) I went into options menu and could not get out. Gestures for back are blocked by your pop out side panels (both on left and right), and there's no way to disable them despite there being a redundant cog to open the menu. Edit- that's great news guys, thanks. I thought that was the case, but i definitely was able to activate both system back AND the swipe panel on the top and bottom half. It was intermittent, confusing. Looking forward to updates, will stick around!
Now thats possible to set where to have the toolbar displayed (when not frameless) and also to disable gestures, it would be interesting to navigate by flicking the toolbar righ or left. Also, please make the toolbar half the size.
Seriously, it's amazing how it simplifies the need for many sites/ apps in to one. If you want longer battery life it's a given choice. Only thing I dislike is that the cookie banner disappears too quickly. Bcs of this I can't refill my prepaid card. The site requires to accept cookies.
Settings screen shows up when trying to navigate back to previous screen using gestures in Android. This is annoying and requires design change to fix the problem
Since you guys dont have control over how long the sites keep us logged in before they make us log in again can you at least store our login detail so we dont have to manually type it in everytime? For example when I login to the Toomics site on chrome browser my saved login info automatically pops up but when I login to the Toomics lite app I created my login info does not popup or auto fill so I have to manually type it in everytime. That's annoying.
Thanks for the developer to sorting my earlier issue of YouTube videos ads. All in all an awesome app that works the best for me.. All of the features are a top-notch
Not sure why but the sandboxes suddenly started working as expected even though I haven't made any changes to them on my end. If you fixed it, then thank you!
I use Firefox containers on my pc and it's amazing to see that a similar feature has come to an Android browser. Currently there are five containers in this app. I hope we will have more containers in future.
Great app, especially if you want to avoid big and clunky apps on your device. Whether it is an app or access to your favorite website, this app has everything. Highly recommended.
I've been using this app for more than a year now, and I'm very satisfied. They fixed the issues with downloading pictures from the lite apps.
Latest updates have the refresh button in the content blocker scrambling what you have checked. Besides that it's a good app.
Great app I use this app mainly to avoid to have a lot of registered logins that save cookies in my browser, so with this app i can have one account for each website and worry less about privacy. Really useful
I've made an app, but it doesn't appear under settings/apps, hence I can't choose it in the settings in my ebook reader to automatically open Any suggestions?
App good. Very nice. [smile emoji] But in all honestly. This app does everything I want for websites I use just enough to wish they had an app.
Sorry to give 3 starts. Though this is the app that I have been looking since many years, I have to give this rating due to an unaccceptable issue while reloading the pages upon relaunching the shortcuts. This is unacceptable as we are losing all the data especially in the filled in forms
Saves me from having a phone that is overloaded with megabytes and I do not have an STD card so I appreciate this app which works fine for me.
Great idea, but Facebook doesn't work. This feels like an absolutely essential no brainer. If this gets fixed will rate 5 stars.
Very good, saves a lot of space and make frequently used sites a click away. I paid for the premium features just to support the developer.
I like the app. The only problem is that when you place light apps on Screen, they disappear when I restart the phone which makes me repeat the same process. So I don't know where the problem is.
App is good but lite-apps aren't actually apps, what I mean is the lite app created with Hermit unlike Google Chrome created lite webapp, are not searchable as an app in other apps for example in app hiding/blocking app, whereas Chrome created webapp are actually searchable/filterable in such apps
Excellent, solves many problems such as running out of phone memory, gaining granular control over app permissions and notifications and gaining an extra layer of privacy. Hermit works really well for most apps, about 80% of them.
Decent, could be a lot better better. First the app will reload the page for any and all reason, it's also slow at that to make it worse. The app doesn't support full-screen very well, if you go to another app then come back the android navigation bar at the bottom gets stuck on, forcing me to turn off and back on full-screen. It would be useful to be able to force a chosen aspect ratio, some sites don't like taller than usual screens so locking them up to a normal 16:9 would help a lot.
