Hernando County FL Sheriff’s Office
app, designed to enhance communication between the HCSO and
Hernando County residents, businesses, and visitors. Information available
includes: emergency notifications, active calls and traffic crashes, sex
offender information, crime prevention information, job line information and
much more. Citizens may submit a tip (including an image, video, or audio)
directly to Crime Stoppers through the app. The Hernando County Sheriff’s
Office will use the app to alert citizens (in specific geographical areas) of
vital information regarding law enforcement activity and/or to share crime
prevention information. The app will be integrated with all of HCSO’s
current social media platforms.

why does this app ask to have access to photos, media, location, to directly make calls, access to ready my SD content, access to my contacts and take pictures and videos. be aware of what you are giving premission to what this law enforcement app wants. sounds very big brotherish.
Weather map is not loading! It shows no weather radar data. Other maps shows large t-storm 5 miles east of me. All Hernando Alerts a 5 ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ rating!

Thank you HCSO for keeping us up to date on the recent activity at area high schools. The push notifications from this app have been an asset to my mental health when I was worrying about the safety of my children on campus.
Hernando County Sheriffs Office are true Law Enforcement Professionals. Professionals is the operative word in this review. I've lived in many states throughout my career and I can assure you that we are very fortunate to have an agency like to Hernando County Sheriff's Office. They truly are Hernando County's finest!
the download says 100% complete but it never gives the option to open the app & no icon shows up either

Nothing loads on this app. i tried Live feed, traffic and recent arrests. It would be a miracle if Hernando was incident free!

This app is amazing. It has tons of useful information. Everyting from the latest arrests to current calls for service. The notification option is a nice feature. I will always be kept uptodate on the latest information for the Sheriff's Office.
