Hero Care - American Red Cross
The Red Cross is the only civilian organization authorized to serve as the emergency communications link to service members with their families back home. Hero Care enables families to easily set up and submit an emergency request should circumstances at home require it
- 24 hours a day, 365 a year, no matter where in the world service members are stationed.
The app also guides users through the various services offered by the Red Cross to assist families before, during and after deployments, as well as containing a variety of other critical information:VA facilities locations, benefits information, mental health/substance abuse and job resources.

- Get help applying your military skills to a civilian job via Vets 2 Careers, substance abuse or mental health treatment via SAMHSA, and other local resources and opportunities via Unite US
- Easily locate Red Cross shelters and offices in your community as well as a variety of VA facilities, including hospitals and benefit centers.
- Families can capture a moment and share with military members using a variety of themed frames; service members can let all their friends and family back home know when its their service anniversary

This app has lot of useful information available.in this app very valuable toll to service members and their families.this app is awesome everyone related to military. You should download this app. Apart from that it should easily navigate and each pages has valuable information available.i have checked multiple apps but this is one of best of them. every information available which i need , thanks to Red cross to provide such services.
Definitely not user-friendly just can't see how it actually helps any definitely need to re-engineer the whole app in the whole concept
Since I was in the military for over 41 years. Dealinh with the Red Cross during 2 deployments and looking through this app it looks to be a very valuable tool to service members and their families.
This app has very little useful information. It mostly redirects you to download another app. I'm going to uninstalle it.
Very, very important to have if you have loved ones in the military and need to get in contact with them when an emergency arises. Especially when they're unreachable under normal circumstances
Best app which i ever seen for military family. Every one should try this app. I recommend this app. Apart from that many of other services which helps you.

We have two children serving active duty in the US Air Force, but the app only seems to allow me to enter info for one. Please add capability for multiple service members in the same family.

Going over all it offers at this time.
1st annoying item, it makes you go back month by month to input a birthday. You can't input a year so start with Jan 1 and then start sweeping the months back 20 year (240 ish months) until you get to their birthdate. Next it has you input the service member's information but this doesn't create an account for you, even though you created a password. So you create yourself and account. After that it tells you you have to set your password, but you can't. Stuck here so created this review.
