Heroes and Castles 2

Yup. Been a gold game. Still a gold game. Runs slow with all the visuals turned up high or low but only when there is too much action and characters on screen. Worth the current price if you have a high end phone. Good if you have a low end that will play it but your willing to bare down and play anyway. Also be prepared for a constant grind. The game is set unfair the higher the waves and difficulty is. The enemy will send out a boss and you wont have the unit you need to defend yourself.

This game is , in my opinion, phenomenal! A ton of different allied characters and enemies to go with it. But their are some problems with it. 1. The game pad stops working at times and becomes really annoying at times. 2. The game itself crashes. It's only happened twice now, for me atleast, but still. 3. As a note to new players: Upgrade the crystal and your units -> the crystal unlocks newer characters which can be upgraded, and this can help a lot.

The idea of the game is nice. However the game is hard for casual players(would not recommend). After every wave, the next wave starts coming again immediately. Although there are several wait times it is not enough to gain points for upgrades. The difficulty increases suddenly and the skeletons with shields are almost unkillable. The pikemen which counter them are far too weak to be effective in combat. So the game overall is quite unbalanced and I would not recommend it for casual players.

Very fun very addicting. Reading some of the other reviews and how people have difficulty playing the game almost discouraged me from spending my money. But it is worth every penny and I do enjoy the challenge it is indeed very much a strategy game. My only criticisms are once a lot of action is going on I had to downgrade the level quality to maintain frames. I like the controller support but when I go to remap buttons it sets everything to the left stick before I can press a button.

Love it. The game is so fun to play around in, fight in, so satisfying. I don't mind it being priced because a game like this deserves its money. The only reason I'm giving 4 stars is because, I can't give it 4 and a half stars, and because I think the character models need a little work. I can't see my characters face be because it has the same properties as my steel armor, shines in the light, turns green in the swamp, reflecting in the rain, and foggy when... its foggy. Highly recommend!

At first I thought this game is a worthy successor of the first one. But it's not. You're constantly forced into fighting stronger defensive battles and don't even have enough time conquering any side points AND defending them as well (because everything can get attacked). Let alone searching for treasures. Stupid mechanics that force you to do something ("you have to defend this town"). This way it's really hard to actually level up additional heroes. Not balanced at all.

The game is quite hard in the beginning. The time played to reward ratio is terrible. Not enough points rewarded to upgrade the hero and units. Consider adding a camera adjustment options. The screen gets too cluttered and becomes hard to see. It's a work in progress but I hope the devs continue to improve the game

This game is great. Yes the graphics arnt great, but its a mobile game, you cant expect much more. The game is difficult, but not to difficult if you spawn the right units to help you (that one goes to the people saying its to hard) (if anything the enemies need to be harder, i beat the game in a week). Wave 32 is probably the most difficult wave. The game needs work, but there will be no work done sadly because not many people play it anymore... Please make a Heros and Castles 3.

Its a really fun game. I just want one thing. To be able to actually move with a bluetooth controller. All actions are maped except movement. Kind of counter productive when you still have ro touch the screen to move. Make the improvement and ill be happy to edit and make 5 star. Overall a wonderful game.

Really a great game but I didn't like the glitches, especially towards the end. This game has been abandoned and is not fun after awhile. My hero no longer could move, enemy troops could not die and I'm not going go try any further.

Fun but it gets incredibly hard once you hit level 30. The game loses most of the fun at that point. Love the idea, not the best implementation. We should be able to still play the game at level 30 but when ever mob has 2500 hp and our hero must hit them 50 times to down one it gets a bit crazy. Desperately needs some balancing. Onto better games...

Playing this game more I can see what needs to be improved/added as it is there's hardly any strategy whatsoever, just spam the units that counter the other units until you run out of cp, and the ai is so dumb you could lose all because your units are targeting the wrong enemies, to fix both these problems let us command our ground units or something, the victories feel less decisive and more like surviving a war of attrition, who can waste the others resources faster, ps this game is p2w hell

AMAZING UPGRADE! This game is a great step forward compared to the first H&C.The graphics are a bit blocky, but its worth the smooth gameplay and the months of content you get with your purchase. The fighting mechanics are simple yet fun, and the customization options for your gear and skilltree keep the game interesting.I only really disike that the campaign feels like a constant tutorial by making stages impossible without certain troops .I really want the free will to run my army how I want.

Loads of fun, very challenging. However I recently encountered a game breaking bug. The game thinks my new phones fingerprint scanner is a controller, and will not show on screen controls. I can't play my favorite game anymore. Please fix this I spent good money on this game!

I bought this game after playing the first one, and I wasn't displeased. This is a great strategy game, you will get hooked within minutes! I personally LOVED this game, the style of the soldiers and their animations were awesome. Can be a bit laggy at times, but other than that, it really is a masterpiece.

I can't believe this game has been out for 7 years and I just found it now! This is a gem. So much depth and strategy for the entry cost. Throwing the developer a few bucks will actually benefit you, unlike most games. A truly unique and exceptional mobile game that's standing the test of time.

Great game ruined by horrible lag. No matter how I set the game jk graphics wise the game gets so laggy that it's unplayable. Nothing fixes the lag. I have a gaming phone, game mode in advance settings, 120RHZ.... There really is not excuse for the lag in this game. It's been around for the last year or so and nothing has been fixed or changed as far as lag

Still love this game. It used to be super buggy on my older devices so I couldn't beat some of the later waves but I would still play the parts of the game I could access without crashing. It was that worth it to me. Anyway now that I have a more advanced device I'm looking forward to playing the game as it was designed to be played. By the way Druid is the best class. Have fun.

Beginning is broken. No game pad pops up so makes Beginning tutorial impossible to complete. Can't see any buttons to run or jump or do anything and no options to fix it.
