It couldn't open files in my Android 10. It also didn't show as launch option. Worse, ads are very intrusive (every time [OPEN FILE] is clicked, bam, loud annoying ad on the face, which cannot be closed with the [BACK] button, only clicking on the [X], which is, obviously, randomly placed by the loser that programmed the ad interface).
It won't request root and just flashes an error message, and My Nexus 6 is rooted and on latest Carbon rom with Magisk installed. NMM File Explorer and Hex Editor are ad free and rooted fine though. I just wanted to get rid of joycon lag but my ROMs file system seems to be structured differently. This is flashing error message " cannot change shell, is your phone rooted? Can't change handler inside thread Thread[pool-8-thread-*random numbers 1-8*,5, main] that has not called Looper. prepare()
When trying to choose a file to open, the app gets stuck in an endless loop when I open a folder with spaces in the name. The bright, flashing onscreen ad is also annoying.
Opened the program and immediately was given a full screen ad with countdown timer. Functionality limited compared to others. Immediate uninstall.
My phone is fully rooted.. When i click on root permission it shows error. Trash app. Many users complaint about this till no response. Trash app don't install
Unable to grant root access.. It does not. Ask. For it.. I tried doing manually in settings but it shows some error, 'cant change shell.. Is. Your. Device is rooted something' plz help
In Android 10, the list of files and folders have some extra characters prefixed to each item and hence the app is unable to even browse the filesystem
I really love essential technical apps with a tiny, but fully functional footprint. This is one of them.
A free hex editor for android! I didn't know that such a thing existed! Removing ads only costs a single dollar, so a good deal there, great app overall
hex editor we have two the non root and have root. play store sell it and liable for users. I have no idea to jail play store for other company statement. but for me I with play store because I'm I know how use the app. mark my word done!
Very buggy. Gets stuck searching. Crashes opening files. Uninstalled. Will wait to see if it improves.

My mobile is rooted. And the app says cannot change shell is your phone rooted. Trash app couldn't even detect Root properly
so I can't open files since it just comes up with bad system call and if I try press the root perm button it says cannot change shell is your phone rooted? : Stream closed And my Google pixel 1 is not rooted
It has a begging banner that flashes continuously asking for $1/month. I would rather write my own hex editor than reward this behavior.
opens files, but full screen popup ads make trying to use the app impossible... not worth your time
used to work great (*****), but the latest "fix" broke it: It says "invalid option -1" and does nothing more.
Doesn't do the basic functions of converting hex to text, which is the whole point.

There is no back button once you open a folder your stuck in it until you uninstall and reinstall

I keep getting System Abort Error...cannot use app.....worst Hex Editor of all Time.
Decent app The only problem is that it says "Block is too big" when you try to copy a block over 100MB in size Can you please remove the limit?
Would've been useful if table files could be added, in this incarnation it wasn't useful to me

Root access is broken, which makes it useless.
No root access when trying to enable in settings. Device is definetly rooted.
Hey developers, so I downloaded this app and I thought about buying the pro version at first but I'm kinda glad I didn't. When I tried to open a game ROM and edit some data, it said it couldn't open from storage/emulated/0, then I also had an issue with the search function being stuck with the spinning circle. So I don't recommend this app for opening data of a file. However the app has a cool matrix-like user interface!
