I wasted many hours playing this game years ago on my old Windows Phone. It was buttery smooth even on maps that were much bigger than on this version of the game. So far my experience here has been extremely poor. I haven't managed to finish a single game. Adjusting the sliders is difficult making progress slow. Leave the app for whatever reason means starting again if you haven't saved and even saving can cause the game to freeze. Then there's the menus that can't be read!!!
Very addictive. Makes you use your brain and alot of strategy and math which I enjoy. But there is a lot of times where there is white text on a white background when selecting maps. It also crashes a lot,I have to reinstall it every other week. If this is fixed I won't hesistate to give this game 5 stars.
My friends and i enjoy the game but it is very buggy, i dont experience crashing but slow movement and choppy. For those who cant play their maps, after setting up saved maps swipe from right to left to slide over to map selection, hope that helped, i would say great game but i want to bable to make bigger maps without having outrages lag and the white on white is absolutely miserable wish the issues were fixed would definetly consider paying if these things could b fixed..
Fun game. Crashes from time to time but very playable. Custom maps takes a minute to figure out, no instructions or demo on creating maps. Suggestion would be to change preset auto move from numbers to %. This would allow easier multi moves from same tile.
This is so frustrating, a great strategy game but continuously crashing, especially on big maps. The writing on the menu is grey on a white background so can hardly be read. Sort out the crashing and the menu and it's 5 stars all day long
awesome game. Any chance you could look at your menu? EVERYTHING is faded. like i cant see anything thats written. white text on a very light grey background makes things nigh-on impossible to see unless its selected. otherwise its a really good game
Fun game, but it keeps crashing. Also, the ai is quite dumb. Harder modes do not give you a thougher enemy, but the same ai with more troops. There are however 4 types of ai. You can play as 1 against the other 3 so that is nice
Not a bad game. Ut can you fix the bug when I am I the middle of a game and I lock my device for what ever reason I cannot continue it. The screen freezes. Thank you.
windows phone app much better. autosave feature does not work correctly, still has white text on white in places, clunkier interface on android, crashes fairly often with large games.
The user interface is actually pretty bad from a design standpoint but the mechanics of the game are simple yet the game is a lot of fun. After you figure out how to customize games it's a lot of fun
Great start, these risk-like hex games are my favorite! Reminds me of Vortex Wars online. Please polish UI especially home screen is ugly and settings screen is barely usable, let me know if you need help.
Game is fun but buggy. Everytime my screen goes black from power saver mode Im unable to continue playing the map I was on, which makes it almost inpossible to play
Nice and simple. I'd rate a solid 4.5, but frequent crashes on larger maps and difficult to read text in settings menu knock it down to a 3.
It is a very good strategy game. Unfortunately, it crashes very often just before the end before my winning. That is very frustrating.
it's a fun game. perhaps the hard mode should be harder. it also freezes my phone when playing medium to large maps.
Didn't really make much sense at all. Tutorial needs to be improved. Got bored before I understood it completely. Probably could be a good game if I got the hang of it, hence the 3 star.. but no didn't get it.
Game is very simple too simple you move all tiles each turn eh ch becomes tedious and must create a supply chain. You win ok overall
Simple, fun. Had it for quite a while. I'd love it if it had a online capability but thats asking a lot
This game is nice for just passing the time while still making you use your brain. I really enjoyed this game and reccomend it for anyone.
Crashes in the middle of a long game and all progress is lost.
Love this game. I spend hours playing this! Deffinetly recommend and download. It does take a bit of skill though.
Eats battery life like crazy. Otherwise it's a decent way to pass time.

They cheat for the AI, giving +3s instead of +1s and grow their armies far faster than for a person.
Loved playing this game on my Fire tablet but it updated something and now Hex War doesn't work anymore.
Its enjoyable however not optimized for the screen on a note 9
Good strategy game with simple mechanics
Love it for the simplicity. I've played (and enjoyed) many (more built up) Hex type games, but I keep coming back to this one. Likely since this is so basic; it's a game that I can pick up and put down easily. The text not reading properly is probably due to some night mode/contrast mode issue, but it's a simple menu and once you've got it doesn't change much. Love the map editor. I only get banner ads, and no intrusive ads.
