I moved 2 hours away, and the credit union refuses to close my account. I tried calling, going to their website and leaving messages, and even tried through this app, but the employees keep giving me the run around. When I try by phone they say I must use their messaging system, but when I leave a message they say I must call by phone. Incompetent credit union who makes it hard to contact (try finding their phone number on their website!) for help.
New phone and receive a message about a one time PIN. I have not received a PIN and I first tried to log on with this phone 6 days ago. Had the same problem with the last phone I bought as well. The app is very helpful but annoying when you have to call to log on each time you get a new device. This happened with Samsung Galaxy 9 and now with the 10.
Nothing is easy and convenient to find in this app. It's rather useless if I have to get onto the main website or go to a branch if I actually need to handle my banking needs. The Chase mobile banking app far exceeds this one in all functions.
I purchased insurance today and can't see what my balance is now? it obviously worked because the money clears but I am still showing the same balance! this is an easy way to overdraw if it doesn't deduct from your account. that's a very important part of a banking app
I consider myself to be a relatively competent individual, but this app makes me feel stupid. So not user friendly. All I want to do is pay my car payment. I tried to use web pay, and it won't let me register. Yes, I removed the leading zeros per the instructions, and verified my information is correct. I have never had such a chore trying to pay the money I owe.
Great app when it works. It's convenient to mobile deposit and to move money, and has a friendly interface. It just seems to be down a lot lately. Hope they get this resolved!
It's awesome being able to look up my purchases so easily. I've tried for months and months to get the online app going and was having a horrible time even customer service couldn't help me so we had decided it was my phone then I called in to customer service last week to ask a question about my account and the girl said that she could get me in the app and get me going and I told her others have tried and I guess it's just my stupid phone. she got me in and I'm excited.
After 20 years of doing business with this Credit Union I had a negative balance in my checking account due to a mail fraud scam, and they completely locked me out of my account! Login became invalid! Customer service simply said sorry, nothing we can do. You'll have to come into a branch to get ANY information! Moving everything to Capitol One!!!
Been trying for an HOUR to upload front and back picture of my check for mobile deposit. Back camera does nothing but freeze and when I do get a picture it isn't good enough. Taking in good lighting and decent quality picture but no, it's not good enough. What do I need? A 4K capable camera? This is a JOKE.
They have been screwing around with our accounts and debit cards lately... limiting our access. Very shady behavior. Highly displeased. I suggest avoiding them at this point.
The app is a learning experience different than what I was using but I'm getting better at it! I've only recently become a HFCU customer! The staff at the Newburgh branch is so helpful!
I've never had any issues with this app and bank staff is always readily available if there is. App is quick responding and easy to use.
App is easy to use, lots of functionality... other than getting cash, you do everything pretty much everything on line seamlessly.
I give an average score. Password settings have a maximum length. The app does not accurately reflect pending transactions.
After years of using this app. I haven't been able to properly use it. I keep getting an error message, and nobody will help. I call and they make me email, I email and they tell me to call🤬
Very secure! My privacy is their top priority! Super simple app. Always fast and accurate.
I love being able to transfer funds, check my balance, pay bills, set up alerts, and control my cards all on one app.
So easy to read, various options and have quick access to our information. Really user friendly. Can't sat anything but positive remarks. IT JUST WORKS!!
I love this app! It makes banking so easy. I've been using it for years but now, with the COVID pandemic, it really makes my life easier.
I have been trying to log in since I opened the account and it is not allowing me. Keeps telling me my log in info is wrong and I have it all written down. I have android.
Works fine for me would give a 5 star if cash rewards functioned on app. It makes you use the browser version which is somewhat inconvenient.

I used this app often but my Samsung Galaxy 9 updated today and now it doesn't load. Everything works on my phone except this app. I also reinstalled it and still nothing. 😕
It is much easier to do mobile banking. I like that you can deposit a check on the site. There is no other bank we would go to. When we go in to the bank everyone is very friendly.
Samsung did a upgrade and this app stopped working. Heritage got on it and the app is working again . Thanks for the quick response.
Love HFCU! The app is wonderful as well. Easy to use, and if you go into your branch they will help you set it up and show you how to use it.
Rarely is this app unavailable. The content is always accurate and very convenient for my banking needs.
Very convenient and easy to use. I only do basic stuff like check my account and transfer between checking and savings accounts. There is however a feature to do transactions between different banks as well... I'm not brave enough to get into that though and I'm pretty old fashioned and prefer doing all of that by myself.
