Good app. Advantages over some other voice recorders are microphone gain setting, wide range of audio formats, supports storage of sound files in memory card and hosts a web page over Wi-Fi to serve up the sound files for download to other devices on the same network. Also ties into DropBox and Google Drive. Disadvantage is the lack of a basic editor.
So far so good, I will say that the audio quality is freaking excellent. I am a guitar player with nearly thirty years experience and I can actually record electric guitar on this and it sounds great. Hopefully the app continues to work as well as it does now. No adds or purchases, really good app. I recommend that if you want to get a real working recorder app... that you dwnld this app. You won't be sorry.
Mainly used to record the band that I'm in during practices, to see if anything may need some work. For this purpose this app works better than I would have ever thought. Your able to reduce the gain, for the microphone, so it doesn't sound all fuzzy and it actually sounds pretty decent, lol.
Mostly good, & free! But since text messaging won't let you use these past about 1:02, I'd really like it to be able to cut some length off. Also, the automatic upload to Dropbox and particularly drive would be great, if it allowed you to be able to choose to designate which folder it went to. Last but not least I wish you could review Google for this pathetic text box where you can't hardly select just the word or section that you want to, w/o it automatically selecting everything🙄🙄
This app does not provide the ability to store files on a MicroSD card, only in internal storage, and I am very short on internal storage, so it's of no use to me. Can't understand why the devs didn't include that option. Many of the other voice recorder apps give you the ability to choose where to store your voice files.
I've had it since 2015 and I always thought it was very good when listening to recorded music through wired ear buds, however I just bought a quality set of wireless ear buds and the music sounds bad. I know it's not the earbuds because downloaded music sounds excellent. I still like the app, but I recommend using wired earbuds.
High-quality MP3 is great but I don't like the cons about the app. This is not a good audio recorder if you're in an office meeting cuz it doesn't last longer no more than 10 minutes, so you have to buy the pro version to have longer time. There are alternative audio recorders with no limits for free.
I love this recorder. Syncs to Dropbox or Google drive. The playback speed function is awesome, it doesn't change the pitch so it's good to use when trying to learn songs. There's a few things I wish it had, but it has some cool features for a simple recorder.
App is practical, what i like it's the sound quality, quite sharp! I use it to record voice messages which are easy to send then by email or whasapp. Plus i would record myself and play it afterward to do training singing sessions What would be optimizable is the interface like play buttons more straightforward. Note that i am using the free version, so thank you for this useful tool.
This is a great little app. I use it to record 60 second radio bulletins from out on the street and it hasn't let me down. There's minimal ads and it's customisable to suit individual needs.
What can I say!? It performs exactly like it's suppose to. Playback has good clarity, controls a snap and recorder very difficult to overdrive. So there you have it.
I like this app. It records in all kinds of file formats and is very accessible. The sound quality is very clear also. I would like to see it be able to record audio directly from your device, such as the audio from a YouTube video, not through your device microphone, but through the actual device audio. I also like have it can prompt you for the name of the file so you can immediately tag the file without having to go back into the folder where your files are stored and rename everything.
