Tried it on 2 different phones, it just crashed on each of the well over 20 tries on each 10 reboot 10 again and same on second phone for a total of 40 even uninstalled rebooted and tried again on both phones its a no go atm. But i really would love to try it out when the crashes and bugs are ironed out.(Well over 7 months later no update no fix no responce from developers this app is absolutely *garbage* do not download)
Totally useless. I'm on the note 10plus. Hysolid is set up on pc. I have absolutely followed the instructions and every time I load up this app it says, cannot connect to pc and not connected to WiFi. Everything is set up. I haven't a clue how to make this so called simple software work. Avoid. It's Hopeless
1 star for the android app and full 5 stars for the player. Tried on multiple devices app crashes on sign in so moved to iOS. Works fine on iOS, it is the android that is the problem. Don't try Samsung devices it never worked. But... the player sound is simply awesome, full 5 stars. This will be my go to player to demo system going forward. Player is very basic. No by folder option. No NAS folder access that needs credentials. Best is provides way to switch between devices is a cool feature.
Having set up the server on a Windows 10 PC, gone through a painful registration process which took multiple attempts to do, I then found that the smartphone app won't even launch on either of my android devices. Maybe it works well for some people, personally I've just wasted 3 hours of my life messing about with this shoddy piece of garbage.
Pita registration, super annoying as I registered on PC and then forced to go to phone with no way to copy a complex password from one device to another so I had to email myself ffs. Then once installed on both devices it crashes instantly on my MotoG8 plus. All of that and I've never even seen it run. Just a silly waste of my time at every step
I have given this a one star due to my latest experience. Just tried to install on my Huawei tablet, it does not work at all. This is a shame because this is a great music player but it looks like it only works on Android 4 to 6. Mine is Android 7 which is not exactly very new since we are now on 11. Any chance you can update this to a more modern platform Hysolid and I would give it a lot more stars?
Phone app continually crashed on Samsung S8+, unable to use it at all. I didn't like the forced registration process much either, as it gives away info for free before you find out that the app doesn't work. Grammar on the PC app is suspiciously poor. Seems like an elaborate data harvesting scam. Don't recommend install or use.
Exceptional accurate audio quality better than itune , jRiver etc , very good resolution n tight bass defintion compare to many others app also by double tapping on the top , the whole screen can be pinch n zoom to enlarge the icon n text .the only thing bad now is it does NOT playback m4a or mp4 files which is files purchase from itune stores. Hope developer can add this support
Thank you for providing a free software striving for quality audio playback. My app was crashes if I have WiFi enabled when I start it but if I disable WiFi and start the app only other issue the occasional lag of playback not sure if it's an issue my end.
This concept seemed very promising, no interface on pc, an app on phone to play songs but it just has one little flaw, the app keeps crashing. I could never play a song from the app. Could you guys please help me here?
This app is a song selector (or remote control) for Desktop PC. I don't know why the developer make this software so complicated. We should be able to choose a song directly on the PC instead of force its user to use smartphone app.
It's really amazing. Should be connecting same wifi. Hysolid on computer must be opened and selected a folder before activating on android or ios devices. If this app supports .ape, then nothing can be compared
Forgotten, non updated and non functional Tried on 3 versions of android - 4.42, 7 and 8 ... cannot make it work. Crashing, unable to find server or doesn't show any music files on server nor server version.
Force closes/crashes after entering email/password on Android 11 LineageOS 18.1 pixel 5a. Set up everything correctly on PC. App probably hasn't been updated in years, shoulda checked that out before wasting time to set everything up. Doh! Yep 2016 last updated. FML I'm a moron!
Downloaded and installed on my PC and Android tablet, worked great first time. Easy to change sound sources while getting used to it. Just perfect for use with an external DAC. Plus - it's free Thank You HYSOLID. A greatfull user
No Stars. Garbage that doesn't open. Data grab. Uninstalled after 3 crashes in 30seconds. Now l'll probably get spammed for 3 months or years. Get a different music player app.
Requires you to register and then login every time. Once in, could not find nor navigate to any music files. Deserves a negative star for the time wasted and literally zero functionality.
Using on my Samsung S21Ultra with Android 12 and One UI4 and the app crashes as soon as its opened. Works perfectly on my old android tablet that is running Android 6.1 and Samsung touchwiz interface.
Followed the instructions, Android phone app won't connect to PC. Great idea having the "spotify/Tidal Connect" feature just a crying shame it doesn't work 🙄
Unable to use the app.. it crashes while openning.. very much disappointed... Pls fix.. my mobile : Samsung Note 10 plus... My source: Intel NUC i7.. connected with Denafrips DAC.. i will change the rating once issues are fixed.. thanks
Problems signing in from the off. Never got to use it sadly. I registered, signed in then after signing out couldn't sign in again after it said I wasn't registered. When I tried to re-register I was informed that my email was already taken. Increadably frustrating.
Works perfectly fine on my Motorola G1 running Android 5.1. doesn't work on my Huawei Y6P, Samsung Galaxy Tab A, and if I'm lucky, I can get it to work with my P30. So yes, it works on an older phone. When it works, it works perfectly.
Does not work, I couldn't find most of my files and the ones it found WOULDN'T play despite being proper format. I have a Harmon/Kardon AVR254 7.1 connect through Optical to my computer with a Creative Sound Blaster Recon chip in my motherboard and still NO DICE all other audio players and Bluray/Dvd Players have no trouble even delivering Dolby Surround
A pain to install on the pc. Password is only alphanumeric so you have to change settings in password manager to dumb down. Then installed the android app and it just crashes, everytime on startup.
Simply does not work on a flagsip Android phone (S21 Ultra). I see a 'loading dialogue for abot 30 seconds, and the the app crashes. Useless
Crashes on launch. Would like to try but got logged in then every time it crashes. Tried the iOS version, kinda ugly but it worked.
Does not work on my Note20 ultra, app doesn't opend. Can't access to mu music or anything at all. I Uninstaller app from pc and from my note. I will never tried it again.
Update July 2020.....Well it happened. Not usable anymore. The app just says it can not reach the server, which is weird because the usage terms come up from the server (I know this because if I turn off any data connection on the phone it says it can't reach the web page). Seems like their server broke and unfortunately they dont maintain it. Previously........ Works well, but needs updates. It's working really well for me, but I have to use an old Android phone running 4.4.4.
