What is a VPN and Why Would I Need One?
A VPN, or Virtual Private Network, allows you to create a secure connection to another network over the Internet. VPNs can be used to access region-restricted websites, shield your browsing activity from prying eyes on public Wi-Fi, and more.
In very simple terms, a VPN connects your PC, smartphone, or tablet to another computer (called a server) somewhere on the internet, and allows you to browse the internet using that computer’s internet connection. So if that server is in a different country, it will appear as if you are coming from that country, and you can potentially access things that you couldn’t normally.

This VPN is actually the best free VPN I have been able to find. Very fast and very reliable. I use this everyday and so far only have two complaints. Both are very annoying. 1st is that Google cant connect to their services with this VPN enabled after just a small bit of time. Please fix that, very annoying. I have to turn off the VPN, then use Google for a few minutes, then back on. 2nd are the ads. I understand why they are there, but they open the app after I close it. But, this is the best!
I use this vpn on a secure wifi. The problem is that it keeps dropping the connection. I get in the middle of something look up and it has lost connection. I have too stop and reconnect. This happens over and over. BTW it still shows your IP address and the town that you live in. What's the use in it when it still shows your info? BAD, BAD deal.
I used to pay for a VPN, and this one just gave me the same results as the one that I had to pay for. When ever you turn it on it very rarely gives any ad's, and it only asks maybe twice for a review. It never cuts out and it is one of the best VPN apps that I have ever tried.
it was once the BEST vpn I've ever used, until it just decided to stop working! it was fast and reliable, and I'm really ashamed that recently, it says it's connected, but when I try to open a website or something, it just doesn't work! it's like it's pranking me or something... I hope you fix this soon, because I really think the vpn was the best in google play, I'll keep updating it from time to time, I hope it fixes
This used to be a great free VPN, sure it had ads but that's how these free apps make their money. But now they've started forcing you to warch a video advertisement before you can use their VPN which is straight up greedy. As this is on mobile I have to reconnect to the VPN about 10 times a day as the signal drops out frequently when commuting switching from mobile data to WiFi. I'm not watching 10 videos a day just to access a free VPN, what a joke! Just got Proton seems way better already.
l found this app thoroughly useless for me. Furthermore it slowed my instrument down tremendously and gobbled up a lot of data. I can well do without it concidering all the inconveniences it causes. It's just not worth even the effort of getting it installed in the first place! ok
Great gets better every update was already fast once it turned on n only getting faster, my phones been even working better nw that i'm not getting hacked all the time or whatever its called, lol. But did have a prob in beginning with it not wanting to turn on n having to tap tap tap a million times fast as i could to get it goin but nw starts up right away guess y'all fixed the glitch great job y'all keep up the good work. it disconnects constantly forcing me to watch roughly 90 minutes of ads per day. it blocks programs such as Accuweather from running. And it allows spamming callers/messages to go through. All in all, it hasn't impressed me as a decent program.
The description says "free forever" but other users say they recently changed it to a free "3 day trial" on the actual app. Downloaded it to confirm, deleted it less than 20 seconds later. It really isn't free after all. Seems like false advertising to me. I'm going to download a different app. I reccomend you do to after you read this. Plenty of ACTUAL free VPNs still exist.
TOO MANY ADS. I know ad revenue is important, but at this point getting to BASE FUNCTIONALITY can involve a gate of 1-3 unskippable 30 sec vids. Had to rewatch the same ad twice in a row to start the app bc it forgot? Some ads are for other VPNs, and at this point Im considering it.
this app does NOT honor the 7 day trial period. I did not have on my phone for 1 day & deleted it. Received a cancellation that was it. They now charger me a monthly fee and I can't get the subscription stopped or removed from my account. Just so you know I am very dissappointed and broke. stay away from this app. I have found not all apps have a way of contact this is one of them. I have been royally screwwed by this app.
It gets connected @ flash of light and it adjusts its speed dynamically in every moment depending on your needs, tested with a YouTube video playback and there wasn't even a single delay or stop in the middle of playback! Thank U the Devs!
To many ads. Came to an ad where there were no options other than install a game. Had to shut it down. Restarted. Couldn't create a hotspot that another device could see. Doesn't work.
Wow. Only VPN that works without subscription for free. Thank you for keeping it real and not trying to hustle people out of their money. Great App! Highly recommend. But best features are in premium so lost one star for that. ⭐⭐⭐⭐
No matter how much I try to connect it, it just doesn't want to. It keeps saying that my wifi is not secure and I have to connect to vpn but when i try to do so, it either say try again or just doesnt work.. really disappointed with this app
worked really well until recently. when i connect it absolutely doesn't want to connect to the internet. when i do get it to work, by changing wifi to mobile data it makes half my apps not work.
The app was good and fast but now it's keep making errors. It looks like connected but not. When you uninstall amd reinstall, it returns to normal (sometimes). It became so unstable. Hope they make it better
It downloaded fast but it only made everything worse, my signal got even worse, it got lower after i use this app, so many ads also it's not even helping it doesn't work at all it just made everything worse i do not recommend this app, to others that made this app worked good for you wished that would happen to me i uninstalled it, just a waste of space🙄😒
This app claims to be the best VPN app out there. I agree with them 100%. Everything they offer is legitimate. The only flaw is the price for their VIP membership. The app is great but $11.99 for a month of no ads and premium servers is highly overrated and completely unnecessary. Why does it say connected, when it's really not? There are so many ads that you have to watch an ad to watch an ad🤦🏿♀️ I DO respect the fact that they reply to feedback. Now, all we need is for them to actually make an app that works.
My phone (Note 4) is doing what it wants,like I was doing a BTS rp with someone and then it took me to their account,then I pressed the back arrow,it worked,but then a second later it was video calling her (an ARMY) and I was trying to cancel it,it didn't work so I had to get out my 'S pen',but before I was trying to power it off,that also didn't work,so when I canceled the video call with my 'S pen',I went straight to this app,I really hope it does help me!! (I am a new user btw)
It's horrible it will keep turning on even when you dont need it on or even turn it on yourself and it will disconnect and disallow you to use certain apps. This app is just a battery drainer.
Every day it kept stopping over and over. I also paid for it the price they said they charged. It ended up being, and I'm not exaggerating this, for a $1 it turns into $13 and so on. Thats a lot of mark up and extra fees? Not worth the trouble.
I just installed this and I'm using the free version now while i write this review. so far so good. the problem I'm having with other free vpn apps is sometimes the key (meaning to me that the vpn is connected, RT?) well, the key will disappear when using a few others. does that mean my wifi dropped out? anyhow, HI VPN, Free VPN hasnt disconnected on me so far☺️! thank you for this free app! its working very good for me. I am in China, I've tried many different VPNs, but this one is the best. It's free, works all the time, and if it's slow, just reconnect... Some people say it's "only a free trial", that's not true. I am using the free version, adds are only for 3 seconds when you connect and they are only in the app, you can just close it... The best VPN.
