Through push notifications and a simple swipe-gesture you can approve (or decline) an authentication or transaction request on your mobile device. For mobile offline use, HID Approve enables you to generate one-time secure codes for strong authentication.
HID Approve is a part of a broad range of hardware and software security tokens from HID Global and works with HID ActivID® Authentication Server version 7.3.1 and above.
Additionally, HID Approve™ allows you to securely enroll with multiple Service Providers that use the ActivID® Authentication Server.
To get started with HID Approve you will need to download the App and enroll it with your service provider.

Absolutely useless. I am an IT guy who HAS to have a rooted device in order to do my job, I'm not buying a 2nx phone just to use this worthless app for added inconvenience. The restrictions imposed by their so called "security" make this app worthless and have locked me out of my account because of it. My company will be moving its accounts elsewhere. Please register your complaints loudly as this is not acceptable.
Simply doesn't work. In GooglePlay store it is marked as "compatible with all of your devices" and when I tried to run it on my Xiaomi or Nexus or AndroidVirtualDevice, it displays "Your device is running in a configuration that is not supported for security reasons". Well, then maybe tell me what exactly is the problem with that configuration, so I can change it! My CreditAgricole-Nextbank (also with terrible IT support) forces me to use it to access my account, so it is a serious problem.
Shocking and so user unfriendly. Bank of Ireland have used dated technology for years and this is even a retrograde step.
Our bank has moved to use this app for authentication. Found the setup really straightforward. I didn't encounter any of the issues described by others. In my opinion anyone who can use a smartphone can easily use this app.
I tried to set up this app, but it said my phone was rooted and it was not possible. I have tried three different unrooting apps and all of them say my phone is NOT rooted. It is incredibly annoying that I can't use the app and will have to carry on with the physical security token issued by my bank.
Almost impossible to get this to work. When you enter your Key secret you have no idea what it is supposed to be: how many letter/numbers etc. Once I got through that hassle I could not get the security number generated to work on the acct I was trying to access. That act finally locked me out. How helpful is that? Ghastly experience.
Works but is not really state of the art. You are forced to regularly change the app PIN (!!). Thats security thinking of the last century, at best! Hello!!
Not working at all with my samsung s10 plus ,andriod 11 keeps on trying to register after successful scan barcode and then service not available . Tried for so many times and different dates
Confusing and baroque in its complexity on set up, didn't bother persevering after going round in circles for a while.
Downloaded it. Used it. Didn't appear on my phone screen, can't get to it from settings app, go to play store, look for it there it is and says open. Why isn't in on my screen?
Seems weak. Often slow with delayed approval notifications from the Streamline Smartcare EMR software. This is sometimes a major hassle and delays sending prescriptions from the EMR.

Do a course on their jargon first. Seems they have their own language. Not very friendly for people not tech savvy
If only numbers are allowed and being used in authorisations, why not show just the keypad instead of the full keyboard?!

Trying to get Hid Active ID to work, this app doesn't talk to it. Worthless.
For a bank as big as NCBA this is a huge disappointment. I have been told to "clear browser cache" for it work on chrome! Tsk, tsk tsk
I'm forced to change the old PIN and enter it correctly. In the next step my old PIN is not recognized anymore and I cannot change my PIN. Now I'm locked out of my CA NextBank account. :-(
Forced to use this app. Another garbage app with old unnecessary UX principles. If I could, I'd skip it's usage.

Uses 17Mb of main memory and cannot be moved to the SD card. So useless for those who have mid range phones. The ability to load to SD card is easily set but many developers are too idle to set it.
