I was excited because my wife uses the HiMommy app and loves it, but it's just gives me little tidbits of information - and when I click the "read more" option it brings me to something different altogether. Also, it treats me like I'm the biggest douchebag on the planet. Today's "advice" was to stop calling my wife a whale and making fun of her stretch marks. I would never dream of treating the woman who I love and is carrying my child that way. And I selected the polite baby option, too.
It's very plain... they could have been more creative than this with the app. Images and stuff more than just quotes ad suggestions. More educational advice for new dads. Feels more like a news reel.
Good app but personally I believe you shouldn't need to pay to learn more but I guess everything is about profit. Im just tryna keep my fiance happy
Fun and just another way to get excited about your new little one!
All in all this is a good app... I get a kick out of the way some info is worded lol, but still a useful app as well. I give it 5 stars 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟 🌟
Was a great experience accurate and helpfull but baby s here now a boy now i will need hibaby thank you.
I rated it 5 stars because its such an amazing experience and it helps us younger dads in our 20's thank you for makeing this app
Basically an app to throw a sentence at you every day at the time of your choosing. not really helpful from the perspective of a becoming father. I'm literally going to stick to mommy apps (HiMommy is quite good; why i trusted this failure). So not with 1,59EUR... not even proofing the option to change to metric system. Huge disappointment, especially when usually trusting the overall opinion. Refund please!
7 kiddos into this, my wife having used this app's compliment for expecting mothers previously with our now 10 month old, I have enjoyed reminders of her changing experience as we begin this new pregnancy. The extra accountability to recall her great push and the enormous changes she is experiencing, well to be honest with all of the everything we all have in life today it is nice to be held accountable. It is easy to navagate for a quick check on things.
Thanks for the comment on my review and I personally think that similar isnt always a bad thing I would love to see the difference in development considering as dads we paid for the app while it's free for mums .... not a bad thing but the app is a tad plain. Its great tbh I love it but little more visual development would be nice .. hope that makes sense and isn't selfish
I really wish there was a way to communicate feelings, or communicate in any way, with the partner your juxtaposed with on the HiMommy app. I do love the daily updates about our baby though!
I thought this would be awesome since it's got a high rating and it's a paid app. It's literally just a countdown and a single piece of trivia a day I'm assuming. (I got a refund immediately). I expected like you know, A DAD'S PREGNANCY GUIDE as it claims.
Handy app, great that I can sync with the HiMummy app. Disappointed that I cannot seem to change the imperial measurements to metric
Some condescending language, a little offensive in some places and seems to encourage the stereotype of the mother having most of the responsibility. Some interesting information, though, and the weekly size updates are nice.
It's not as good as the Hi Mommy app. In that app the baby is cute and adorable, while in this one it's pretending so hard to sound cool and crass. Uses the word "hell" a hell lot. Calls me "Dude" like I'msome.kind of frat brother. Not the kind of image I want to picture my baby saying.
Cannot sync with hi mommy app Edit: I reinstalled my app and it's still not working. Can you please fix it, I tried using the invitation link via HiMommy app and it's still not working. Message aren't received nor synced.
I love the idea. But some of the information that it says about weeks 4 and 5 I am doubting it's accuracy. It talks about having developed in ways that other sources say happen later on in pregnancy.
I'd give it a 3 if it had more information for new dads and more visual. My wife had me download this app because she has himommy app. Nothing even close to hers. No sound effects or anything. I paid for this I'm gonna keep it but pls update with more specs and it would be a 5 from me!
It makes every father seem like a couch lounging, lazy, watching football, and insensitive human. Also paid for a timer and words, no real helpful information. Refund would be nice.
The only problem I got is the notification.. i have it set at 9am and it never sends me the update about what's happening 😒.. fix that and hidaddy gets 5 stars ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐ ⭐
Liked the app at first until my wife and I started comparing average stats. This one has weights and length off compared to the app I used last time (and both the ones my wife has used). All 3 of which are very similar to each other.
Perfect array of information for newly venturing parents. Gives a lot of very important information that you otherwise wouldn't have known. From what not to do to what part is currently developing!
Easiest refund decision ever. All it is is a countdown timer with some basic information and tells you how big your baby is at week x. There's way better free apps out there.
My wife has the HiMommy App and she made me buy this one, it okay. It gives you good information about what your wife or s.o is going through and what they might need (food, vitamins, etc) and what the baby requires.
An interesting companion on days of wife's pregnancy. The only remarkable downside is that ⚠ it reports to Facebook in the background.
It's an educational app that unfortunately doesn't have all it's facts correct. They claimed, for example, that at Week 7 and 3 days the embryo is called a fetus, which won't be true for another week and a half. Little things like this make a big difference in the experience and make it overall less useful. I don't want to have to Google everything it tells me to make sure it's right. So far that's what I've been doing.
