Hide Pictures &Videos - Vaulty

I'm changing my rating to a 5. I was having trouble with the app after doing an update - it seemed to be wanting me to pay for it again and took many of the features away. But, after reinstalling Vaulty, it now works just fine. There was a bug that would persistently display the "Item deleted" prompt when a file was deleted (you had to restart the app to get it to go away) but this has been fixed in the current version. Now, the "Item deleted" prompt goes away after a few seconds. Nice job!

I really love using this app and the fact that I can view all of my photos on an adjustable grid layout and have videos play by themselves is super convenient, however, im currently facing an issue where my files keep on duplicating. Restarting it over and over doesn't work, force stopping doesn't work and it seems like im the only one having this issue. I really hope this issue is recognized and be taken care of, since I'm willing to provide this app with 5 stars once everything is fixed.

Doesnt allow user to open videos in external media player. And doesn't allow user to select entire folders, instead you have to enter each folder and individually select the files you want to hide. I highly doubt this is encrypting anything since it goes so fast. There are much better file hiders out there if you dont care about encryption.

Before this update it was very easy to move pictures, videos and files from folder to folder now it almost impossible. Every time I try to move a file to antoher folder it never goes to the one I would like. It somehow manages to go to a different one. This has made me find a different aop for hiding files instead.

As soon as I open videos go into slow motion in the preview, then the app shuts down. The app doesn't even stay open long enough for me to unlock videos to save elsewhere. No longer worth having unstalled but I want my files!!

Changed from 5 stars because even after multiple updates, the video player and photo editor don't work. It still wants to download aviary app even though it is no longer available. Its been 4 years, come on.

Update: even after responding stating that they've fixed the issues, they haven't. 1 star... canceled the subscription too. Fixed one issue, but not the others... still moves pics to random folders even when you assuredly select the correct folder you want to move something to. Becoming a nightmare trying to keep things organized

This would be the perfect App , BUT LACKING TWO VERY NEEDED FEATURES - Tags and Search ability option , Love the animated previews feature , I would love to buy it's premium , can u kindly give some hint if ability to add tags and ability to search images, videos etc by search typing will be added anytime soon , these features will make it the perfect App and I have tried a lot of them ,almost all major ones ,

I so much much loved this app and have been using it for years. I should give 5 stars but of recent the app became nonfunctional, always stopping. The pictures and videos are intact but the app stops before I can access any of the files. What happened and how can I fix it? I have an infinix android 9

Lots of my past issues have been resolved. However with the most recent update I can now no longer set a picture as the album cover. It's not critical, but was a nice feature.

I used Vaulty App for more than 2 years it was working fine till I installed the last update then all my pictures and videos disappeared suddenly. I even contacted the developers through the email in the app for help. But no reply 😞

Don't trust this app's backup system! Thousands of my files disappeared when I tried to move them on an SD card because this app doesn't warn you that it doesn't have the full access to it. I can't even use the automatic backup because it doesn't work for whatever reason. The developers are refusing to contact me about this issue even though I reached out to them a few times. Now thousands of my images are lost with no way to get them back.

What happened? I used to be able to use vaulty player to watch all my videos in app. Now it's suggesting another app because of a decoder error? I think I'm gonna switch to a different app as this one continues to get worse with each update instead of better. Also there's a huge ad at the bottom of the app that's a bit overbearing. This used to be a great app now it's just meh. I would appreciate a option to revert to the previous version or fix this version so if functions the right way.

What have you done with this update? Before, if you were searching a folder and you had viewed a picture, the back button took you back to where you were. Now it takes you to the top of the folder every time. Absolutely awful. It's now got even worse.When you watch a video that is longer than your screen lock time it just times out. The old version didn't do this and Android phones haven't timed out watching videos for years. It knows you're watching videos and therefore doesn't lock the screen.

WHY NO FOLDER SORTING OR RENAMING OPTION ?? huge basic drawback But The reason I love it is rest is great, it's gif and videos preview animations that play on screen continuosly , shows Webp and Webm as well , really awesome feature, rest many good options but can be added more such as flip switch action , ability to add tags , fingerprint etc ,video player could be improved with more features, but I love to use it for its visual experience

Since the latest update, once you try and hide photos to the vault, it doesnt automatically remove them from your gallery, very annoying.

The app used to be amazing, I even paid for the subscription but now it's not backing up all my photos and when I go to click "sync" it says everything is backed up but the red dot is still appearing on a lot of photos. Also, customer support has been useless.

Used to be great not won't even open keep shutting down every time. Please for the love of all the secret and keep me happy relationship please fix it. Great app for keeping private your private life.

Its very bad in last 5 years from latest update that we can open the media and document..even some file gonns missing by iyltself sometime and after that restore it self ...very bad working..

Garbage! Loses stuff randomly. If you want to keep your stuff, avoid! I guess it hides it from everyone! Including yourself! Trash!

Update: App is creating multiple new folders. And it is also failing to keep images position in memory after you go back to the list. App ram management has gone wrong. I updated this latest version on my secondary android phone and I will only update on Primary phone after all the problems be fixed.

Wont move anything into the vault (I get a "Some items can't be moved to vault error, note these are just plain .jpg files) then the app just completely freezes the phone .... this used to be a good app, now it is completely useless for its intended purpose...

Since the update that came out today 20th Feb 2022 I have a very minor issue. When moving a photo from one folder to another Vaulty pops up a message saying moving but it then freezees at 0% moved and stays like that until I shut the app.

UNINSTALLED - I Paid for a lifetime subscription a few years ago to remove ads. The dev is no longer honoring that deal and now requires a monthly subscription. I understand they need to make money, but that is not how you do business. Only new users should have been moved to the subscription model. The app now shows a 5 second ad every time I go into or out of a media item, making it completely unusable. Thank goodness most phones now have secure folders to lock down anything you desire!

Been using vaulty since 2012. Latest update has made hiding pics and vids very slow. It duplicates all files by importing and reimporting again and again by itself. Please fix the bugs and glitches.

keeps losing my stuff. then it comes back and disappears again I've heard nothing from the support side.

How can I log in to my account online? The phone which I downloaded these app is not working and the photos that I put on the Vaulty cannot be access in Google photos cause they are lock of course. Please help... Thanks for your reply I forgot to mentioned that now I have an I Phone not an Android. I don’t know if that’s an issue using the app.

Okay, thought this was good at first, but it is almost impossible to exit out of watching a video inside this thing. Once you watch it, you have to click back 50 times for it to finally start thinking about exiting. This little bug is enough to drive me insane, why make it impossible for someone to exit a video without spending an entire minute trying? Also, why do the thumbnails appear in random order and size? So confusing to use, and you have to look at itty bitty thumbnails scattered.
