Hide Screen (Sneak a cellphone)

Very nice app. Very useful. The apps actually runs in background without any interruption, wheather it is game, video, or music .That makes it extremely usefull in many purposes. Nice concept. The only problem is that the triple tap mode creates problem sometimes, triple tap doesnot turn on the screen sometimes, I don't know why, but then it requires 4-5 taps to turn it on. Otherwise it is very usuful.

The app works once.it will black the whole screen out once. Then, if you turn the screen back on, from then on it will only black out most of the screen, leaving the notification bar lit. So, if you want the whole screen to go black again, you have to completely close the app down, close the app from your recently used apps screen, then reopen the app. Lame.

Awesome app! the only problem i would say it has is it sometimes would turn on my screen when placed in my pocket. Oh and tapping 3 times would be better if i didnt have to tap the button rather then the screen. it should be implemented to tap the display rather then the button, and have four taps so to avoid accidental taps or movementd. otherwise awesome app well worth the price! 😁

Best screen darkening app I've found. Only issue is after initial use, it stops covering the whole screen (notification bar and home/back buttons display). Fix by stopping and starting the program, which can get tedious. Other than that, good job.

One star less for every downside: 1. Status bar (with battery/signal/time) + button bar (app list/home/back) are brightly... on. 2. Not configurable. 3. Doesn't deactivate touches! There are apps with much less rating that behave flawlessly. On the plus side I appreciate dev's amiability.

Does this app have notification screen functionality? I'm not seeing it if it does. I really don't care for floating icons. I'm sure that it serves the purpose you expressly explained it to serve, but when I'm listening to YouTube it's preferable to simply drop down my notification shade and hit the widget like button in my quick access menu. I see that it doesn't come with a widget, which seems reasonable, but why no notification shade toggle? The app works well but w/o that, 4 stars.

Works perfectly for my Samsung Android phones. However, for my Huawei phone, as a previous user mentioned, the screen goes black but is still lit up, with the notification drop down menu still being accessible. I hope the next update covers this issue.

Everything you ask for and need. However, I use a Samsung phone and my notification bar shows up literally half the time. I use Hide Screen during night and that nasty white bar is so annoying.

The screen does not turn off the entire mobile, the navigation bar appears on the option, this app is not working at all, requesting the developer to give a good update.

Very useful only at the start has the ad thanks for not being greedy. Could you make the status bar hide as well it shows when you swipe it then doesnt disappear

The recent update makes the nav bar for my Oneplus 6 don't hide. But the old version works perfect. I will be giving this a star temporarily so the devs will notice this review. Thank you

app closes after just some minutes. switching to a different lock screen app for the meantime, email me after its fixed. almost a great app ☹️

App is not hiding notifications on top. Even a 3 year old can scroll down and check the notifications. It doesn't serve the purpose. Uninstalled the app

It's a very useful app, if not suddenly force stopped. Have issues with Android 8.1. Please fix it.

good app. i like the way the app run over other app on my mobile. very easy to use never crashed. and over all free and elegant no ads.

works well... but wish it would compleatly black out screen. it still puts out a good bit of light.

A good app indeed but not for huawei of my model. Would love if you would fix that because the black screen seems to glow and is not suitable at all. Thank you.

This app basically makes a chat head (as Facebook's messenger does) that you can click on and it puts a black overlay over the screen. Since you guys were good enough to reply to my first review and I see you actually care about your app, here's 5 stars. (:

It works perfectly only first time then notification panel doesn't hide. Quite good but can be app but this needs to be improved.

bugged for Asus Zenfone Maxpro M1. First off is complete black. The next off is window still appear and light from LCD still on, seems not efficient at all

Its quite good but ,when i am using it for more than 2 times than there is part of screen which is not hiding (notification bar), i am using samsung galaxy note10 lite.

not usefull when put into pocket while walking because can easily remove hide by just tapping, but overall its good..

Not working Properly in ASUS ZENFONE 5Z. When I Turn off the screen by power button and then I again switch On, the hide screen floating button disappears.
