HIDVCAM is an amazing mini camera. I love it, and I have two of them. I had a sync problem with my network and the cameras which was solved after I wrote to help support. They wrote back right away and instructed me on what to do. In just minutes my cameras were back online. It was amazing!! Again if you ever have doubts, write their website. They are extremely reliable, and I can guarantee you'll never have problems. These cameras are reliable, and worth buying more if you need them.

Worst ever. It disconnects when you need it the most. Between freezing and disconnecting or refusing to connect this is very time consuming. It's always acting up. Cannot tell if it's real time or a frame from the day before because it will suddenly display a video that is not live and it freezes. Pure junk. I purchased the camwras and another let down. Batt's last Maybe. 60 second's. Frustration level 100

The app doesn't give you the option to zoom out so the area the camera covers is too small

I have tried to set this camera up multiple times and have had zero luck. Truly frustrating. It scans the code on my phone but never connects to a network.

Freezes all time with a decent wifi network connection. Product goes back to seller.

Not sure if the problems I've faced are due to the camera or this app, but it has been a huge waste of time so far. I spent several days trying to connect to the camera and it failed with "server unavailable" almost everytime. I finally discovered that changing my WiFi router from channel 4 to channel 1 was a solution. Couldn't find any mention of this anywhere online, just happened to try that change, among dozens of other things, and found that it worked.

It took me hours to be able to configure this device and the app for use the very first time because the instructions guide are not quite clear. However, it worked well the first time, but when I left home and returned to reconnect that is where I found myself in deep trouble. When I needed it most, it kept connecting and disconnecting. When connected and I pressed play it will say "this network is being used." It remained like this until I got frustrated and abandoned it. I just wish the developers could respond to emails and also go through users' reviews and come up with an update to fix all issues raised. But once it can connect, everything works fine. So I give it 3.5 Star

This is a pile of b*ll*cks. I got the cam set up OK but later it disconnected. Oh boy. Once disconnected you are in for a world of pain. Not one of the settings makes any sense and I ended up going around in a circle of entering password for the app to fail at doing anything. It won't spot my network, it won't hook up to the camera any more. It really is trash.

Update they updated the app and they are working. My camera's, 3 of them, have been working for about a year now. During that time they go offline at least once a month and I have to go through the "reboot" process. This time when they went offline I noticed that they had updated the app, the app now reads the process to you. At the end where you input your password to connect to your wifi there isn't anything to click on to input it. So now I am left with 3 camera's that don't work.

It gives me alerts for every little thing. And I can't delete any images that was taken. Wish I could access it away from home or my PC. But other than that I like it.

Mine is doing the sames as everyone else. I just got a new s22 and now the camera won't work with my phone but it works with our old phones. Not a good camera. Is useless now. This needs an updat to work with new phones

I have a Samsung s20 FE 5G with pretty good internet. The app is atrocious with how slow it is.

I keep running into little problems like my alarm doesn't go off when someone walks in camera range. It takes a pic but I count on the alarm to let me know someone is here. I don't want to sit around watching my phone constantly. App doesn't detect my SD card and haven't found the resolution to that. The video and picture quality is awesome though.

Would be nice to support more popular cloud storage options although still a great device for general use

So far, these cameras have been completely unusable. Absolutely will not recognize my phone, my wifi, won't sync with the app. Useless. No support seems to be available. I'd love to hear from support and be able to make use of these. Otherwise I expect to just throw these in the trash.

You have to reload the connection all the time. I'd not around the came its no goos.

Uses lots of data even when not connected to camera. I assume it's uploading my personal data to China. I suspect most of these cheap Chinese IP cameras with compulsory "cloud storage" are a front for some kind of data mining. I don't have any hard evidence, but I can't think of another explanation for all the permissions required, and the fact that so much data is being uploaded without a video feed. The cameras are usable if you can manage to get them working with third-party software.

Garbage...I have yet to be able to use them. They never connect. Don't waste your $$!

Instructions are lacking. Alot of trial and error trying to figure it out. The only thing that bugs me alot is not being able to download from thw cloud. I use another app to view videos because it zooms in on videos. But kinda pointless if i cant download videos. Also sometimes viseos in cloud wont appear until i restarr app a few times.

I wanted this camera to work so badly! I spent 5 1/2 hours trying to set it up, to no avail! I have NEVER spent more than 5 to 10 minutes setting up cameras! I was totally wasted and had to stop! The QR scan just did not work! I wrote the company and more than 2 days later, still no word! I spent another 1h.40m trying everything I could, even prayed it would work! Pray tell me, why did they make it so hard to set up. It's NOT a keeper! I will send it back!

WOW! how is it EVERYONE HAS THE SAME ISSUES WITH THIS CAMERA? you guys obviously have a great product with tons of potential. This product should be described as a TEMPORARY security camera then for some reason after performing exceptionally well, will go offline and will not reconnect again to Wi-Fi. 👎🏻

this this is a piece of junk. It wont load. The camera is saying it has a password although it is new in the box and there is no support for the software. I wasted my money and I would advise anyone considering this camera to buy elsewhere. It requires a WiFi connection so using it on the fly is impossible and it requires a 2.4g WiFi. Additionally, I can only view the camera from my smart phone and not on my PC, who's brain child was that?

This is one of the best cameras I've ever had for home security. It shows a clear and precise picture of everything in its view. And with the SD card inserted records everything when you have it in motion to record. A very good camera along with an excellent app

Great cameras and app. Motion sensing is phenomenal. Battery life not great, but mine are plugged in all the time. Will definitely buy more as needed. Since last update, can't sync phone time. Videos have wrong time. Every time I sync with phone time, it goes back to the wrong time and date.
