You get the sense that every detail could count in the future, and added to the fantastic story, it's an exciting experience. However, I found it tiring to get through because of the pressure to do the right choices.

Okay. This story is incredible. The plot was really fascinating. It give you a sherlock holmes vibe and the ancient lore in this story was really well constructed. The mystery is pretty fun with some obvious clues and some very tricky one. The interaction between MC with support characters also seemed smooth and nice. My only complaint is the stat meter. Well it damn confusing, i was wondering was it really usefull. But i guess that add toward books plus point. Overall very entertaining book

I've never liked crime or investigation stuff but I've never played such an extensive choices game. It took me a whole day just playing through it. The mysteriousness, the creepiness, the through investigations. And what is most interesting is the sanity stat, it could literally change everything perspectively, either bring you close to doom or get you by just another day with you stable. I know it's silly but I wish there was romance lol maybe the male lecturer? Thank you for spooking me! :(

Of the thriller genre, this is my favorite. I may be biased considering how I like sleuth and investigation stories but this one got me hooked. It's creepy in every way and the story is well written and well thought. I also love how you can choose archetypes like a pokemon trainer choosing a starter. And how I love the change of characters. I was enjoying myself one moment then.. okay, I'm a new person. But that's very awesome. I wonder if there will be any chance for a second book.

One of the best I have ever played, definitely the top 2, I spent 7 hours of excitement, suspense and rush.. it was like a movie and I was in it, right in the center... They should make a movie adaptation of it, cuz it's that awesome... good job team

I really love the story, especially the implementation of Sanity into the narrative itself. Some typos here and there but nothing that breaks immersion. The only thing I am sad about is that there is no part two.

A Gem of a game. Highlands, Deep Waters manages to weave an intricate thriller plot with the essence of Lovecraftian horror. Set on the Scottish shores, the game is an awesome hell of a ride where a couple murders turn foul and you have to uncover the truth, or die trying. Personally a fan of Lucas Zeper, the authors have done an amazing job on this one. Loved the worldbuilding and Sanity aspect of the game. Only cons I saw was some grammatical errors and a couple spelling mistakes.

Great story with a lot of awesome detective elements. Really had me on edge most of the time. Spelling and grammatical errors are plentiful, though.

Oh how I wish I could give this 7 stars!! Play this game RIGHT NOW! Oh my god, the twists! The storyline! The vivid writing style! Everything! Nail-biting from prologue to epilogue!

Words can't describe how great this interactive story is. I enjoyed every minute of it and I have to play it again to see what other results I get.

This is the only CYOA game that gave me literal chills. I have to pause for a long time before making a choice as I felt my courage dwindling down in every scene. That is how good this game is. Very well written story! Amazing read!

If hellboy was a text adventure game. One of the best cyoa games next to Life In Adventure and Magium. If you like those, you probably have good taste and you should give this a try.

Nice story ! I've been reading it everyday on the bus instead of listening to music. 5/5 I'll think about buying the next chapters :) I really can't wait to know more about this mystery!

Good story, well written, the characters are amazing, the deduction part is fun. The SJW components are put in a skillful manner. Overral it's good. Very good

Well written highly enjoyed the experience. Lovecraftian tropes seem over used at this point but the author kept the story fresh even given the clear influences of "shadow over Innsmouth".

Wow! Amazing game! Probably my favorite text based choose your own adventure so far. And I've read a bunch of them!

4.5/5 Would be a horror mystery masterpiece if it weren't beset by literary errors, almost as if they didn't bother editing the story.

Quality is all over the place! Lots of annoying typos. Only COG game I couldn't bring myself to finish! 🤬 Mostly NOT good.

Wonderful! I loved the mystery and the chance to be a hard boiled detective in a Lovecraftian story!

Damn... scary, mysterious. Chills my spine. There are minor grammatical mistakes but it shouldn't interfere with reading comprehension. (Nov 8 2019) Edit: WHEN IS THE SEQUEL COMING?

I have played a lot of games from Choice of Games and Hosted Games and this one for me is one of the top three among them.

A. G. u. Aug 20, 2019

haven't played it yet, but as I was reading the reviews someone who rated one star said "Delight games is better" which I totally disagree with. So clearly, the people who rated one star are only people who say "BuT ItS NoT frEe" at least they're giving you a portion of it for free, the only actually free games I know from choice of games is choice of dragon and doomsday on demand. They should know if they were fans of the company that most of their games aren't free.

One of the bestest games I came across. Deserves whole 5 stars. Reason for 4 stars is that people who read reviews think 5 stars revies are fake but this one is genuine. It's worth your time story
