PROMOTES CARING VALUES
This game is based on the positive values of kindness, compassion and friendship, and inspires kids to think about others. In the monster game, the player makes friends with a monster and cares for him. This builds character and confidence in young children by making them feel good about themselves—an important part of early childhood education.
PROVIDES MEANINGFUL LEARNING
The game portrays monsters in the context of a child's everyday routine, so lessons such as regularly brushing teeth and going to school are relevant.
DEVELOPS FINE MOTOR SKILLS
In the game, children tap, swipe, complete circle rotations, drag and drop, and pump levers. Some activities require quick reflexes on these actions. These activities and finger motions improve fine motor skills for preschoolers.

Too pricey for only three game-scene option. My kids finish trying all of them within 20 minutes. It's repetitive for some activities. We have tried another app that is free and gives a lot more option to do. I hope, highlight monster updates more game-scene in the future, only three is just boring.
This game is so cute. However, I bought the full version and feel a bit ripped off. The free game has lots of activities so it would lead you to think the paid portion would have just as many. This is not the case. Paid games add on have half the amount of activities and some of the same activities in each game. I'm disappointed really. I hardly ever pay for games and I wish I didn't with this one. Not worth 4 dollars.
My daughter plays this all the time so I bought her the $4 version and there was an error, not highlights fault. I got charged twice for the app, called the cust # and they hung up on me. My purchase was not loaded. Im willing to change my review if someone from highlights will pick up the phone
my kid likes! cute sounds and animations!! I did get full version. Only CON: on attempt to RE-install it wants me to repurchase full app. BOO! My kidloves it but we remove and try new stuff... I will not repay to play full again. so many apps in the sea to double pay for one goodie. it was for real favorite on level o cute! thanks for fun- cassidyshea
It's fun for my 3 and 6 year old kids. I wish it was maybe more educational. Also, after brushing the monster's teeth, the brush sound never stops even when you switch screens, so that's irritating. Hoping that bug will resolve itself, otherwise I may delete the app.
Overall I think this is a great app & fun game for kids 3-4 years and older. My 2 year old loves the graphics & bright colors & wants to play but has troubles with some of the controls still. But that is when I help him and we have fun playing together!
I've entertained children from ages 2 to 9 with this game. Super cute, minimal ads (only for expansions), and holds their attention for a good long while when you need to keep them quiet. :)
My child loves this game and has been playing it for years. Only problem is I think when this app started you had to put in an email for the extra games. So now it won't restore or let me purchase the extras. Is there a way to fix that? Or a way to talk to support?
I bought the extra levels and now can't install them on my device. I keep getting a 'oops something went wrong error' I've tried reinstalling the app and installing on different devices.
We love the app, but when trying to unlock the other areas, it keeps saying there is an error and won't let us purchase.
I think I was more excited when I saw this app while looking for my 5 yo Daughter beings that I used to LOVE to read my Highlights & had a monthly subscriptions over 20+ years ago ( wow I feel old now) Its nice to see something good quality still around this long! I can say app could use mote selection but besides that good app!
My 2,4,5,6 year olds love this game cuse they now look what the monster does like when the monster brushs his teeth and when they brush their teeth they say"Im going to brush my teef(teeth) like the monster!I love this game for my children!My two year old piper needs help playing the game so she just taps evreything!My husbend likes to play it with our four year old ivy and 5 and 6 year old harly and sophie! And a babbys on the way! yay! i play it with my sisters kids they are 3 and 5!
I purchased the game a while ago, eventually deleted it from my phone, now my child wants it back BUT I get an error message when I try to restore my purchase. I paid money for the extra games and want to be able to use them. What is going wrong?
I can't get past the monster in bed. I see from the pictures that there is supposed to be a button but we can't see it on our screen. Very frustrating
Bought Full Version... But it gives an error message. My autistic son is very unhappy he can no longer play with all the characters.
Love this app for my six-year-old it's a game but it's where you dress the monster and feed him. Very fun and easy to use I like that it is not like other games.
Begrudgingly i have purchasedthe full version 3 times. It is cute and my kid loves it. He first played it at age 2 and at age 5 still plays it.
My son loves this app! And it doesnt drive me bonkers with adds. But it wont let me restore my purchace which is pretty frusterating.
Highlights is centered around our children and they are awesome and the app is awesome.
Paid for the extras and now it crashes in less than a minute every time.

Cute graphics. No annoying ads. Not much here, though. It's a good start. Needs much more content. Music WAY too repetitive. Didn't try add-ons yet. At 3.99 each, they would need to have far more game play than this free one. We finished all the option in less than 10 minutes.
