Highrise Word Heroes

Really love the gameplay as it's easy to go through the whole story line, but also challenging if you want all its achievements. Unfortunately you can't sync your progress with other devices and it looks like the developers have abandoned the game since 2015.

Fun little game. Requires some strategy, but also a fair bit of luck to get the right tiles, particularly when trying to get the bananas. Enjoyable story. Ads aren't horribly intrusive.

This game is supposed to be similar to the Bookworm game, but it isn't even close. It makes no sense....you can't make decent words due to the short time limits and all the things you have to look out for....things like running out of air or too much lethal gas--none of which has anything to do with making words. I do NOT like this game and wouldn't recommend it if you're looking for good word games. I paid for the $2.99 upgrade hoping it would get better. It didn't 😒. I'd give it a big ZERO !!

Seriously best word game I have ever played. I am picky.

I don't know why this is not one of the most popular games. It is a ton of fun!!

I wish there was a sequel...

I used to play it on two devices and then crashing started. And the syncing got screwed up. The crashing sees to have been resolved with the latest update but I haven't tried syncing between devices. Latest gripe: I have sound and music OFF but an ad just played LOUDLY while my partner is sleeping. Not cool.

The plot is pretty cheesy and predictable but has some genuinely funny moments. But, since we're mostly here for the word game, any plot at all is merely a bonus! Mix Boggle and Bejeweled and you've got an idea for the gameplay of this game. But special tiles, character abilities, and new gameplay elements give a lot of variety to the 100+ levels.

I got to 60 + diamonds then when it says watch advert for extra time (or regenerate life) doesn't put up the add but it bombards you before you restart the level with adds...I have not yet uninstalled on the off chance the creators of the game will apologize and fix the problem..you have 1 month to respond then I will remove your game. Yes you can tell the creators aren't native English speakers because they use highest honors in place of American or Brit expression, for top marks, can't explain more here.

**Knocking off two stars, because at a certain point in the game it starts playing obscenely long ads, some of which literally never end. You have no choice but to close the game and reopen.** Really underrated game. If you like word games, you'll love this one.

Like Boggle but a lot more strategic. Some of the allowed words are suspect though. Should have an undo button for accidental moves....after playing, I have to lower my rating. Too hard to complete timed quests.

The game itself is fun and challenging but the conversation is hilarious. The two of us sit and play giving the dialog silly voices. Keeps us entertained on two levels.

Fun word game but aggravating that I paid to disable ads yet still get them. Update: Now I still get ads and I no longer have unlimited lives. Trying to restore purchase fails on phone and when I tried installing on my tablet. Don't spend money on this buggy system. Too bad because it's a fun game.

This is a fantastic word game with a very interesting storyline. Plenty of challenging levels and achievements to attempt to get. Not too hard that I get bored. A real keeper. Well done devs

Sublime. Unintuitive, engaging word puzzles with tons of variation. And it's FREE! Seriously, get this if it looks even a little bit interesting.

Love the game, especially all the levels, only had to buy lives once for months of playing is also a big plus

Really addicting and challenging. A surprisingly good story that i actually cared to read. Other than how much of my life it consumed i having only good things to say. Highly recommended.

Very good game of words. Challenging and addictive at same time. Big shame there is no sequel to it.

I'm trapped on level 5 no way out don't know if this is the last level of the game someone let me know if you got out .no way out leave 5 ok I was trapped update -20 is the last board I pass this game over took me nearly a year 3 months without plating last board was good I passed it it was heard but I did it woo hoo

A few levels were disproportionately difficult, and seemed to rely more on chance than skill, but overall a fun game.

Game is very enjoyable. However, it rebooted itself after several months of play and sent me back to first level (i.e., 90). It still shows all my achievements but doesn't recognize the levels I have completed. Is there a fix for this? I am seeing lots of complaints about crashes but no response from developers!

when ever i get a pop up ad or anything that interferes with the game. the image gets all scrambled up so i cant see or play the game. i have to close the game out completely and restart it.

Like it overall. Wish it didn't have intentionally needed scoring hitting just below 3 stars/diamond as often.

New twist on the link tiles style of game. Story is OK so far. Game has ads but they're not intrusive.
