This is a great app for texting. I'm using it for more than 3 years. But there are certain features that I liked about the pervious versions like Hike direct. I personally don't like the explore. It was nice when hike daily, news and games were separate. Now, I don't find games at all and even if the settings are changed in news, it still shows only news about the entertainment industry; no good useful news shown. That's a real disappointment. Hope certain features will be changed in future.

This is really cool app. I have been using hike for almost 2 years. But, lately I found that News Stories section has gone for a toss. The stories are taking too long to load and many a time, swipe doesn't work at all. I think you people are trying to put tooo many things in one go. Make it like insta does, where we need a separate boomerang app to enable Boomerang feature. Likewise.

Guys, pls work on personalising notifications. Like the on WhatsApp. I'm not asking you to copy it, but the feature can be developed in a more pronounced way. Where each of the contacts can be personalised with an individual notification. That would be way better. It's because there are a lot of notifications popping up while using the app, like news, scores, jokes and so on. Those are less prioritised when you're in a meeting and someone who actually wants to convey a message. Hope you can rectify this issue. Thanks.

Everything was fine until for some reason the developers introduced the Explore chat feature. It stuffs my feed with notifications i could care less about. If you provide a feature, sometimes it's better to also provide an option to block it. However, there isn't such an option with Explore. All I'm asking for is an option to somehow disable the Explore feature. Otherwise this app deserves better grading.

I love this app. More safe but has to work it out on video and voice calling lots of drawbacks on video calling. if you are not in the app you won't know who is call or even a notification. after accepting the video call when u shorten the screen can see the other face but we don't notice ours and sometimes when call is running suddenly the video screen will disappears.

I used Hike messenger for four years (for instant messaging, free phone to phone sms and mainly "caller" feature). In previous versions, there is an "caller" feature available that shows the calling person's name when I get a phone call (not hike call) and there is an exclusive option in hike settings to turn it on/off. Now after recent updates (version 5.14.7 and after), I couldn't find it anywhere in the settings. Reported the issue, no help. Now, no choice other than uninstalling :/

It's a good app, that I can recommend my friends... From past 2-3 years I'm using it.... But whenever a new update arrives an old feature is removed that was greatly working and now-a-days I'm facing problem in hike i.e., I'm not able to send files... It is showing "could not upload file, check network settings" error, but I'm on WiFi.... Please check this error and give me good results... As soon as possible... - A friendly user of hike.

I started using this app 6 years back. It was working amazingly. But I am facing issues since last 1 month. The messages dont get deliver to recipient even the internet service are working well. It shows "Send Free SMS. the recipient is offline". Even the app is up to date. This is very irritating. If this continues then I am back to WhatsApp. Also cannot find Hike on playstore through search bar. Please resolve at earliest.

its the good app. but there is small problems occuring while using hike first of all when the message or any notification comes it doesn't show on the screen of the phone. when i go back to hike and open it it gives the notification after opening it .. this is really annoying secondly . it must have the option of deleting the message before the receiver reads it just like as whtsap have.

It is a really great app and I love everything about it. And I am really glad you did not change the emojis. The only issue is that it keeps stopping and whenever someone sends a message then I do not get the notification even though the notification setting is on. Otherwise it's a really nice app.

When am send to photos and images through hike apps to other users, upload on time automatically reduced photo file size with less clarity. Can be possible to set limit for less than 10mb files without loose. Because many friends say to me. Very less Clarity with files also. May you rectify as soon as possible. Note : can to be provide to options for settings for files size and high clarity.

I have been using hike for the past 3 years or so. i loved it at the beginning but now it seems impossible to even use the app. My friends can't get my friend reqs and i cant see their's. My explore page doesn't work on either of my phones. It has gone downhill with the introduction of new fads with have accelerated its decline.

This app has a very poor backup system. We should be allowed to choose what to backup. We should be able to delete files from the existing backups. Only the last backup should be saved. When we restore from the backup all the things get recoved from all of our backups which we have created from the begining. This recovers the useless files which we don't need anymore. It become very difficult to access necessary message from the bulk messages.

Worst experience in calling. If you call someone and go back to home, there is no short cut to go back to call. There is another bug if you do video call at the same time you can do voice call also and if you disconnect the video call the voice call will still be going but you won't hear anything. This is a very bad bug. Look into it.

videos on hike stories start playing automatically. without hike being even active on the screen. that is videos starts playing while i am using other apps . first two times i didnt even know where the sound was coming from. EDIT 28/1/19 : right now the app is not misbehaving. its working as desired. rating increased from 1to 4

I stopped using hike just because its complicated. Its always disturbing. I like that old version which was simple with timeline and chats. There was no such things that someone else could send friend requests. Its like a mini facebook now and no more simple hike! I have uninstalled thats why. But I used to like the old version very much. Once upon a time hike was the most used app!

This app is very very slow. The last scene status doesn't change when the person is online sometimes and vice versa. Even if the person has left the chat it shows online. Most of the times it's very slow. Whatsapp is way better. Please fix this bug

Hi team, I hope you are keeping good. I would like to give a feedback on the new hike messenger. I would like give feedback in relation to the conversation screen (home) . I personally feel little difficult to differentiate between a group conversation and an individual chat. Some i have to scroll once or twice to find the conversation i need to open. It would be better if you provide individual screen for group chat or differentiate with any colour modifications.

Please introduce this app again because It was much better than Vibe. It has a feature to chat with your contacts and with your friends but vibe is all about meeting only new people and we all know that OLD IS GOLD. Many of my friends were using hike and suddenly we got a news that it is shutting down. Please introduce Hike again. It was such an amazing application for those old friends who lives at long distance but always stay connected through Hike and its amazing stickers.

I never find enough words to say how lovely hike is! Has bunch of amazing features, among which the news feed and daily inspirational quotes are some of my faves..💟 the timeline is also back 😊 Only the 'explore' sometimes keeps showing "upgrading" & takes time when tried to open, hope the team fixes this quickly..Oh and I loved the much earlier fonts of hike daily quotes much more...😅😊 Lots of love though, keep getting better..🌟💓

Garbage. This app is extremely slow and lags far more than acceptable. Messages aren't delivered or received for over a minute after clicking on the send button, even with a fast Internet connection. The only good thing about the app is the stickers. Everything else is utter garbage.

this app so good for few feature,but boy this app is full of bugs, i just found few like, chat theme doesn't change for my friend when i change in my chat, search messages feature doesn't work for the second time, and while you Search the messages become empty, and few messages won't be delivered or missed without our notice, there are more man, fix them folks

Overall app is good. but what's with forceful auto backup and sync? There's no way to disable it. It seems bit scary to suddenly have confirm Backup dialog on your screen, And there's no way to even disable it or even refuse it. That forceful auto backup seemed shady.

Used to be the best. But nowadays video lags too much. Notification is slow. Message delivery slow. It was best when it was simple. It would be great if you improve the quality parallel to your new features.

initially the app was so good.... I've been using it for 3 years and i didn't face any issues but all of a sudden from the past 2 months my hike isn't working properly am not receiving any notification even when the message is sent by the other person. once i login there are messages which first popped in but then now even that notification am not receiving . it's like when i wanna check something i login n there are messages . please check this out . it is very dissappointing .

Not safe.. In end to end encryption only sender and reciver can read,access to data, but in 128bit,2048 company server can read and save our data, messages. We can take screen screenshots of messages, no selfdistructive messages (timing), we can forward vulnerable data(images,photos,message). It must not autobackup, it must not save any data in server, it must give end to end encription, it must prevent forward option,screen shot in hide chat, it must enable self distructive messages and timing.

I love hike but there is one major bug which bothers me. To view any contacts info, after clicking one their name in the chat window. It takes a lot of time to open person information window. And sometimes it also hangs during that process such that i have to restart the app. Please fix this bug
