Hike Sticker Chat - Fun & Expressive Messaging

Hi team hike! I'm happy with all the new things you are introducing on the application. But I have a very small issue with it. I'm not receiving notifications immediately for new messages. For a messaging app this is a serious issue. I'm receiving notifications hours after they sent me the message. I didn't make any changes for notification settings on my phone for the app. So kindly resolve this issue... Thanks in advance and keep up with the good work!

Hi, I am using hike for a very long time. I just want to thank you all for the hikeland feature. This is absolutely amazing idea. I literally danced after seeing that feature as I can hang out with my friends. I am really very happy. I like that how you added you tube as a TV in the house that is just so cute. All the design are absolutely awesome. I have some requests for that feature only. Please add more fun apps like games etc. Add the feature of editing house interior. Thanks

This is fantastic. I left hike a long time ago but came back to see what are the new features (as hike was innovative) I'm literally amazed. The room feature is really nice. There are only two things I would like to see in the future 1) more streaming services such as netflix and prime for people to watch together. I haven't seen a working mobile app which can do that. So, rooting for hike to be the first. 2) I couldn't find a dark mode in the app. A bit weird. Thanks for you work

An excellent app for those who prefer privacy. But if it had fingerprint lock / PIN for the whole app. It would be perfect. Hey developers almost all the apps support split screen option. And hike is still not supporting. Split screen isn't a new feature for android. It's a very useful feature and hike lacks it. There's also another issue of videos uploading. It takes so long to send videos. You could tweak the app a bit more for better user experience.

The application has amazing concept but a lot of bugs. For example in home when you call, only the owners voice is clearly audible. Also, during tv, if you type a text, it covers entire screen. It would be better to have chat in lower half and video in upper half like when you read a text. Can also include a small video chat during tv. The VC can be in a corner. That would make it much better.

Hike used to be a very good app in its previous versions. But this new version is so full of flaws. The notifications are not received until and unless you open the app and see it. It has become extremely slow, in sending and receiving messages. The stickers can't be searched fast. Sometimes there is no notification bell when a message somehow comes without opening the app. It is lagging a lot. Please fix this asap. Its causing a lot of inconvenience.

The app is an amazing collection of the best stickers and themes for chat. But I give 1 star just because of the worst message delivery. Even with a stable and fast internet connection on both sides and with continuous testing, we found the messages get delivered very slow. Terribly annoying this it is. It happened when I used it a few months ago. Thought it would be fixed but no. Extremely annoying!!!

Overall better creativity and concept.. I should say better than WhatsApp. But still needs some important improvements. 1. The option to unsend or delete the messages already sent is not available for multiple messages. We have to unsend one by one. 2. Sometimes profile picture doesn't appear in the moments section. 3. Connectivity is little slow. Doesn't work well with slower internet speeds. I hope these will be fixed until next update.. Many more.. Cant remember now. Keep up the good work.

I've a good experience with hike, but few lags are there which i would like to mention. ●sometime while typing or after you sent the text and prep the next text, the cursor disappears and need to tap on the writing bar to get it back. ●when there is any update the text notification stop working until the update has been done. ●stickers are too repetitive,there are not much variety with auto suggestions of stickers. Overall i had a good interaction with the app.

Really amazing app. But it feels a bit heavy on battery and cpu usage. The phone heats up when using it. It's acceptable as it does a lot stuffs when typing. I am a developer I can understand. Anyway good work. I am however pretty scared about how they collect data. The suggestions seems to personalized, when something is personalized it means they have collected data. Anyway we can't expect anything to be free. Make sure you guys clear the chat often. They save the pics and photos in cloud.

All media(pictures, videos, voice notes, attachments, etc) gets deleted automatically everyday. Phone gets heated up and starts draining battery during calls(voice and video both. Backup and restore inadequate. Certain chats vanish one day, appear again the next day. App hangs and crashes a lot. Regret shifting from the previous version. Fix the bugs and issues ASAP. Also, do find a way to recover the media lost due to your negligence and fault.

In comparison, it's somewhat better than WhatsApp. It's great to use with a loved one as you can use your own picture as the chat theme. Great features! Just one thing, whenever the screen turns off and if the chat is open and new message appear, the chat will not the show the new message, it will start from somewhere in the middle. Also, image sharing could be better. Like giving the editing options right on the photo rather than going into "optimization" then doing it.

I would like to rate you in negative, but unfortunately that option is unavailable. I woke up to find the application crashed, all chats disappeared and can't see any way of retrieving. The supposed AUTOBACKUP doesn't seem to exist. It has become the worst app. Totally unreliable. First, the media used to get deleted automatically everytime I opened it, then it stops working and deletes everything including chat and stickers by itself!! Pathetic performance.

I love this application... But recently there's something very wrong... Whenever I try to send a video, it's unable to send. The videos aren't large sized... And also the app freezes in the start up logo screen at times... I have to close the app, clear the memory and open it again once or twice to get the app to function. But the media sharing issue is a bit too uncomfortable at times and I'd really appreciate if the team helps me with it.

Edited review It wasn't opening at first and now the app does open. They have really nice features. But there is always something that breaks. Currently a notification sits on my panel saying backing up when I haven't given the permission to back it up. And the notification doesn't go unless I restart my phone. Instead of putting a lot features. You guys could work on making the ones that are there better!

Edit 1 : The search message feature is very slow and bugged. after a lot of chat messages, it does not even search correctly and returns no search results at all. Loving the app thus far. Please include the feature of previewing content of a link shared. Currently, only the link is pasted and there is no way the user can know what was shared unless then click on the link to open it.

I had a great experience using this app but now there are so much lag in delivering messages from one end to another. It takes several minutes to get double tick..i have a good speed wifi connection, so internet is not an issue. Most of the times there are no notification sound or vibration alongwith incoming text which makes me ignore them. My friends are also facing same issues.

I have been using hike since 2 years and I even liked the new version of Hike 6.0. The only fault I find in it is that I don't get any notification of messages received in it. The settings of notifications are the same as any other app even then am not receiving any notifications. The message notifications are received only when I open the app. This need to be fixed as soon as possible as I am a person who use hike on a permanent basis.

I have been using this app since 3 to 4 years.. i like this app a lotbut theres one problem in this app that is it does not always shows the notification when a message is recieved, we need to open the app again and again to check for any message. Secondly, it takes a very long time to send any image and its almost impossible to send a video. Kindly fix this because I am a constant user and face this problem a lot.

This app has a very poor backup system. We should be allowed to choose what to backup. We should be able to delete files from the existing backups. Only the last backup should be saved. When we restore from the backup all the things get recoved from all of our backups which we have created from the begining. This recovers the useless files which we don't need anymore. It become very difficult to access necessary message from the bulk messages.

5 star for previous version. notification is not working. Have to go online to get messages. In previous version, when we attach any image to send, we were asking for the quality i. e. the original image or compressed MB image. But in this version, the image is automatically sending with a compressed MB which is reflecting the quality. You should not compromise with the quality and please give us the options before sending them on faster mode. Fix this ASAP

It's an awesome app . I am really happy using this for only a month now.. but it's comfortable to use. The stickers are really fun and easy.. you don't have to download Andy additional sticker app to use them. I prefer using hike better than whatsapp now.! The only issue is. It kinda blacks out sometimes. Moreover it's really convenient. Also. I would love if there were more streaming apps like Netflix available in the home app♥️♥️

Using this app for several years. It's one of the best personal messaging app. It's most unique and coolest feature is the nudge in order to just ping your friend or contact. The latest option of watch movies with friends makes it a worth while experience. The craziest feature is to hide a chat. This lets you keep your app open and no need of using app locks as you can just hide a particular chat only. It would be great if there were other options other then YouTube to play videos together.

Love hike and using it for more than two years. Amazing platform. Just shifted to Redmi Note 9 and experienced some issues. 1. Messages are note received until I open hike. On other side it shows as I have no internet. 2. Call does not appear on full screen. A pop-up appears just for second and disappear and I have to open hike or notification from top to accept the call. 3. No ringtone sound for call. Just vibration. I know settings and tried with default settings as well custom. Please help.

Good app to use with good features but uses lot of data over video call, app should include compression while having video call also while sending photos it does not compress them at all like other similar app does or they have options to choose the image quality while sending the images. Also can't move the self thumbnail on video call which blocks some of the parts of the screen. Overall experience is good.

The UI of the 6.0 is better than the older ones. It makes using the application fun & engaging. It's a nice touch by team Hike to add offers. However,since stickers are at the forefront of the application the sticker suggestion function does not work many a times. Also the older versions had news & others which are not available on 6.0 as of yet.

a star for the new feature similar to whatsapp of right swipe. 2nd for the stickers. it misses the rest for it has been acting weird. no matter how many times I try, I don't get message notification .only after opening do I receive notifications for the messages that I have received hours ago. it's becoming so irritating that I have switched to the old version.
