During hiking, offline map and GPS locking function allows fast positioning, even if there is no data connection. Route deviation alert function prevents getting lost.
You can pay for one-time purchase or annual subscription to unlock the trial features or remove the ads in the app and the website.

Hard to use. Unable to chose starting point and end point in map! No suggested route with estimated time and distance remaining.
Great app to have when Hiking/Trail running alone (which isn't actually Recommended).Long trails such as Wilson trail 9 is almost out of network coverage , so this offline app can help you out seriously . Highly recommended to novice and experts .
good app but recent random hill names in the app makes it intimidating

How long does it take for updates on openstreetmap to get reflected in Hiking Trail HK? A month ago I updated something on openstreetmap to make it more accurate, but I still don't see the update in Hiking Trail HK...

After update the scaling at lower left corner becomes in miles and cannot be changed to km. Please fix

The downside of this app is that it's not so intuitive (user friendly) as I needed some time to figure out how to start using it! But after watching some YouTube videos on this app, I found it very user friendly and informative ! Now I wouldn't start hiking without opening it!!! I wonder if the author can adapt the app into other country's versions so that hikers around the world can experience your "brainchild" ?
