How to use:You have 3 screens (can be switched with horizontal swipe): 1. file manager for navigation and adding files and folders to playlist. You can add multiple folders to playlist. The playlist is also folder based. If you have almums in separate folders then playlist folder is an album;2. albumart grid screen, it shows albumarts of playlist folders (albums), also you can switch playlists here;3. playlist folder (album) contents.

Iam a hiki player biggest fan because I use it start point to now but Sometime after auto stop on my device j7 prime 2 please fixing bug quickly I don't wait more time thank you
It worked perfect on my LG Nexus 4 but my new phone. Use footbar 3000 if u r having troubles.
Best folder player out there. Also plays FLAC.

I've used this player for a while but it doesn't work with Android pie
For the version from July 28. The player gets loaded out of background memory if the playback was paused due to aggressive battery saving Android feature on my xz2. The playlist gets cleaned too and you have to press "play" twice because player won't respond. Seems like the fix is to make an exception in battery settings.
Amazing small music player. It even comes with equalizer. Please 1. allow to make a playlist from files in different folders (currently I can only add only if in same folder as first song) 2. make better the UI in managing playlists (why do I see a blank screen for a playlist and then I have to tap on it to see the files at the bottom ?? why can't delete file in playlist ?) and switching between playlist and browsing files

After updating, I cannot kill the app in notification. The close button didn't work anymore.

Update for Nougat please! I cannot delete files on my SD. Says "operation fail" only. The app has permission to write on the SD card but it cannot delete or create files anyway (lyrics or folders) Android 7.1.2 Anyway, Hiki Player is still the best music player ever!

Plays music from folders and looks pretty
This was my favorite player for *years*, until a recent update, and now it has started popping and skipping. It desperately needs a buffer. It worked perfectly on my old Galaxy Mini (like 10 year old phone at this point), but now on my S4, it's having problems. I cannot use it anymore, as these skips and pops actually cause me quite a bit of anxiety and frustration, and I use music to try to relax. Sorry HikiPlayer. I loved you because you were lightweight, and because I *HATE* tags. Folder-players for life. I just can't deal with your skips and your pops. I even factory-reset my phone and rebuilt my setup from scratch to try to save you, but it's you, not me. Goodbye.
I really like this player because it sources folders instead of artists or other categories. My music doesn't always have metadata so it gets messed up when trying to sort. The only thing I don't understand is why it'll save where I was in a song as far back as several songs ago.
returned after years and i wish you did not update at all. new version is bloated piese of garbo

Removed emotional complaint. Look I really enjoy your app I think it was awesome, but something happened and now I can't easily press folders to queue music, there are many more clicks then before to get anything done. But I've upgraded your review to 5 because while it worked as I enjoyed, it was truly a great app and it deserves to rocket all the way there for the whole world to enjoy :)
The widget doesn't show up in the add widgets menu. The launcher I use is the built in one in my Allview P6 Life.
Decent player, plays Ogg and Flac just fine. However, the UI is quite unclear and confusing, and there is no 'shuffle folder/album' option, only shuffle songs (all or in current album)
Love the design.. Very simple.. Easy to understand.. But when i want to add multiple song to playlist at once.. It doen't add it.. Only work when adding one by one.. Disappointed but still.. I love this app.. If you can fix that.. I'll really be happy 'bout it. I will be looking for next update. P.S sorry for bad eng.
Light and easy in use player. Can not delete unwanted files on a current Huawei phone but on Samsung it's possible. Showing here "Operation Failed". To delete file is very useful as using this app to sort out playlists for future. 2.) Hanging in notifications. Sometimes need to restart the phone.
