How does it work?
Simply open the Hillsbus MetroConnect app and enter your pick up location, tell us which Sydney Metro station you want to connect with and what time we should arrive.
Not ready to leave just yet? Tell us what time you want to be picked up and we'll schedule it in. Bookings can be made through the app up to 12 hours in advance. We'll notify you when we're on the way.

Since the upgrade I cannot select the time for pickup. The app crashes regularly. The service is great and I am a regular user but I walk now as the app is rubbish. Feel sorry for the drivers as they face the music. I have also sent feedback and emails and to date have had no replies.... Looks like no one cares.
I can never book, 1 out 10 bookings. Always crashing. I sent an email several times because of the issue, still the same. Or made a booking, bus never showed up/30 mins late and told me I wasn't on their system. Showed and told the bus drivers what was happening. Drivers are so nice but that's about it. And wasn't able to link my Opal, "error, or something went wrong".
Best service ever. Why discontinue?? All clients received like less than a months notice of cancellation and now I have like no other means of getting to work :/
I can't even book a ride. It won't let me select where I'd even like to be picked up from. No matter what I press on, the map functions as though there were no elements on top of it, so I can't choose where I'd like to be picked up or dropped off as I can't even press on those buttons. I actually need this app to work, much like many other people. I'm not impressed.
Updated recently. With the new update, I can no longer input a drop off point. Previously I couldn't select a date. Issue is caused when you try to book in advance outside service times, onc e 6am arrived all behaved normally.
works really well. service is great and convenient. However, after my two free trips, app keeps crashing when I try and enter payment details = can't use the service. useless.
This service is absolutely atrocious. They have earnt this one star through most of their drivers as they're nice. However, I'll book my bus ride 12 hours prior to ensure that I get picked up at the time I requested and yet right at the last minute the bus time will change from my requested time to 20 minutes later. This is not on, especially considering you're transporting school kids and working adults that need to be on time everyday. This service is for casual events not work.Very unreliable
I gave it the origin and the destination but the app never moves to the next stage. I don't know how else I can book the bus. The app doesn't work and there is no online booking option there.
Can I give zero star to this app? Never able to log in, always need to register one more time!! What the worse is, after I finally logged in, it said location share is not open. Whereas, I already open it in my setting. Really really bad experience.
Android App just not working. has lots of bugs and after creating the account successfully, does not let you login and does not give a message to advise reason why. terrible App. Get professionals to develop your Apps....
Super simple to use app and fantastic service once on the bus. If this was NPS I'd be a 10. I just finished raving to my family about how good it is. Great job team!
The app works fine but I found a few language issues such as: "xx is reaching in 10 minutes" I believe better English would be arriving.
I installed the app and then found out that it doesn't cover Beaumont Hills and Rouse Hill areas. If these areas can be covered would be great.
This App requires you to authenticate by handing over your email and email account password. I work in IT and this is an appalling security risk. Do not hand over your password for another App to an App.
Poor effort for an app. Too many messages! Annoying. The app doesn't like to be stopped.
Rubbish service. Terrible app. Nearby on demands bus companies make it so simple. Would give zero stars if I could.

What's that thunderous Vrooom-vroommmm rippling across The Hills? It's the roaring engine of an epic mobility revolution called 'On Demand Service'! I've tried SWAT's service in Singapore and it was A-MAZ-ING. Is Sydney ready to be blown off their socks?
The app is reasonably simple to use and the on demand service is a big timesaver. A suggested improvement - save previous addresses in the pick up / drop off menu...especially drop off, as most people will use the same drop off address in the evenings. Although it seems like the backend trip allocation code needs some fine tuning... busses drive 10+ mins in the morning peak from Bella vista Station to kellyville for a pick up and drop off to Showground.
