Worst app ever! Absolute rubbish! Doesn't work properly, if you need to save pictures or videos they are in some weird picture format. Notifications don't work or load properly and if you to playback anything the controls for speed etc do not work. Baffles me that in 2022 apps can still be this awful! Somebody needs sacking for this, what a joke

It's not bad at showing live camera footage but when you ask it to do playback it often struggles to get the clip loaded, unless it's for the previous day which seems odd. If the same day playback could be sorted it would be a good app. Update - playworks well at night when under the I.R, but the as soon as daylight arrives playback doesn't work very well. Live view works well most of the, but if you want to view motion alarms in the day time it's not that good. Update - playback still no good

Have used this app for one year now, works very well. Two problems I have, but hardly serious: the constant reminder to download the alternate app from Hikvision is annoying, should be a way to disable this; there is no way to change he aspect ratio, some of my feeds look stretched out. Otherwise the app works fine.

Updated to this new version. Utterly appalling. Previous version was very quick at displaying images this version takes up to 1 minute before the cameras show any images. Please fix this adsp as there doesn't appear to be a way of reverting to thrbold reliable version. Spending 2k on a home security CCTV system only to have a third rate app is completely unacceptable. FIX IT !!!!!

Sometimes the apps struggle to load the live footage in fullscreen. This happens even when the wifi is strong and fast. Kindly fix this. Otherwise a pretty decent app.

the app need a lot of improvements. very outdated. 1) No option to Fast forward all cams together 2) the camera view shows a lot of glitch vision, works correct on tv, i have v fast wifi. 3) Have to go back to start page to change history time for all cameras. 4) The hd vision is still not that clear as shown on tv. 5) zoom feature crops much area.

Hi Team...I have found that fast forward button is not highlighting like 1X,2x,4X,8X... When you play a content from recorded videos... Please fix this bug... There is only drag option.But when you drag content it is sensitive and moving very faster in minutes...This has been observed only in remote operation from mobile... I am able to view camera live on Hilook app on any of my mobile devices without any issues. But I am facing many issues on one plus Nord 2 devices, the live video goes on buffering and hardly plays. But the internet connection in my device is very good and other apps which are consuming internet working properly on my phone. Kindly check this.

After using the app for a while, it turned to landscape mode. Unable to get it to portrait mode. It's very annoying. Have re-installed the app, still it has the same problem. Technical backend team, please fix the viewing mode issue.

This app is obsolete and will warn you that you will no longer be able to use it after Feb 28, 2022. Contacted support is useless since they do not want to update their app in Google Play store but instead will force you to download and install an apk file instead. Will need to find a more reputable app. I have reported this issue to Google.

The app is no good at all. It kept telling me the app won't work after 28 th February 2022 . I updated it worked for a while then disappeared and I can't be able to login again. It's quite frustrating.

So annoying! Keeps trying to access my personal data (unrelated to CCTV) and everytime you click anything a pop up shows asking you to allow permission to view your photos and media EVERY TIME and you have to click to say NO. If you accidentally click yes you have to install the app. The app does not need access to my photos to work!!!

Although great app the fact that the camera stream is offline so often means it defeats the object of being able to see what is happening when the beams are triggered. It is vital to have visibility at all times. And again offline tonight 09/11/2020. We really need this to be fixed please? 5 July 2021 - we are still experiencing the same problems. This app currently goes into numerous buffering which leads to tremendous delays in getting access to live feeds resulting in the ultimate purpose getting defeated. Its very important that your team looks into this matter and prepare a new algorithm to expedite the process. There are numerous people using this app and it's imperative that the HiLook team rectifies this issue on a war footing. Look forward to the new and improved update from your end.

The interface is not much user friendly, infact annoying. No option to fast forward. We can just sit and keep watching what happened throughout day which a fast forward option Totally defeats the purpose of a remote camera. if they do not work on the interface ,soon they will be out of the market! Also it glitchy.

Just updated to new version from the Hikvision App Store. I would like the old version back. New version does not work well at all. Who ever made the new version needs to try it before pushing the new update. Where is the playback speed other than 1X? Playback keeps giving an error message. Not pleased at all. Advice: Don't download update.

Unable to view playback in fast forward through Mobile device.. its a major issue for me as if I am not available at my work place and want to view than no one have that much time to view playback for continue 8 or 9 hours.. for that fast forward playback option is required.. In cc plus same is available.. If this issue is not solved than I have to switch..

Rubbish App This used to be a great app but now it's not letting us playback for more than a 10 second clip. It constantly freezes and doesn't notify us of any activity for a few days, then we have to uninstall and reinstall for it to notify us again. I wish there was another app that we could use!!

Poor usability, unreliable because it sometimes needs to be restarted. Even when the software is loaded it keeps reminding that a new version is available, when try to get new version it refuses because it is already installed. CRAZY ! ANNOYING !

WHY TF IS THIS NOT THE MOST RECENT UPDATE!? After installing, the app straight away tells you that it's outdated and sends you to their site where they force you to install untrusted 3rd party software to your phone. There are multiples of the same app on their site all different versions for what reason? Clearly they don't care, this should be removed and they should be accountable for having an outdated app just to be able to say they are on the App store. Utter rubbish, nothing will change.

Disappointed. it can't playback in lower quality mode, because at my place i can only depend on 3G signal. HD Quality just make the playback stuttering. I'll change the rating to 5 star if they can add the lower resolution mode for playback.

Update (2019-09-07): Still broken in version 3.9.1. Still doesn't prefer or fallback to IPv6 address if IPv4 connectivity cannot be established. Please fix asap. Previous review: Latest update (3.7.1.0130) broke IPv6 connectivity when DNS name can be resolved to both IPv4 *and* IPv6 addresses, but IPv4 address is not reachable. App doesn't prefer, nor doesn't fall back to, the IPv6 address. I had to revert back to 3.6.0.1016 where this issue didn't exist. Please fix ASAP.

Poxy app tells you to sign up before you can use so put in phone number email and password but there's no enter/ submit/ go/ Option so you get stuck there and cant go any further. Its been like this for some time now. And no its not my phone as ive tried it on 3 different devices and all have the same problem!

The worst app it's stop working after every second day then I uninstall it then again reinstall it and then it works for like two days then same problem. Forget about playback and everything. It's not doing basic work of check-in online CCTV what else can I even ask for more. horrible experience..

App doesn't even work anymore. Says a different app needs to be installed again, none of which show up on the play store. Don't fancy downloading random apps from some 3rd party site to be honest.
