Bhagavad Gita is knowledge of numerous basic truths of life and the relationship of each truth to the other: These truths are Krishna, or God, the individual soul, the material world, action in this world, and time, the liberation, various means to liberation and relationship between soul and Krishna. The Gita lucidly explains the nature of consciousness, the self, and the universe. It is the essence of India's spiritual wisdom.
Sanskrit Bhagavad Gita, is a part of the 5th Veda (written by Vedavyasa - ancient Indian saint) and Indian Epic - Mahabharata. It was narrated for the first time in the battle of Kurukshetra, by Lord Krishna to Arjun.
The same 'Sant Saral Gita’ is written in sant language which contains Sanskrit, maithili,Hindi,avadhi, Gujarati,odia, bengali, Punjabi etc in saral chhanda by Krishnadas ji maharaj sitting in the same cave where Vyasadeva lives with the blessing of Srila Vyasadeva , Mata Saraswati and the supreme Lord Krishna himself.
Faced with a fratricidal war, a despondent Arjuna turns to his charioteer Krishna for counsel on the battlefield. Krishna, through the course of the Bhagavad Gita, imparts to Arjuna wisdom, the path to devotion, and the doctrine of selfless action. The Bhagavad Gita upholds the essence and the philosophical tradition of the Upanishads. However, unlike the rigorous monism of the Upanishads, the Bhagavad Gita also integrates dualism and theism.
Numerous commentaries have been written on the Bhagavad Gita with widely differing views on the essentials, beginning with Adi Sankara's commentary on the Bhagavad Gita in the eighth century CE. Commentators see the setting of the Bhagavad Gita in a battlefield as an allegory for the ethical and moral struggles of the human life. The Bhagavad Gita's call for selfless action inspired many leaders of the Indian independence movement including Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi, who referred to the Bhagavad Gita as his saviour in darkness.

This is the best Geeta app. It provides high quality devotional audio which can be heard even if one is doing something else. The description is in old hindi like Hanuman chalisha. This is wonderful and awesome. Also it provides the original sanskrit geeta as well. A must download app.
Beyond expectation. Voice is super. Music also fill with spirituality.Finally the scripture is a global script which mixed of all Indian languages and can be accepted by wide devotees from different states. Superb. There are a few other apps and I have tried most of them. But this app is just best. Correction not needed. I don't know who is the developer. But I would like to thank him both personally and publicly and encourage to make more apps like this.
The first adhyay is not playing, it is showing as 'there is a problem playing this' please help to fix this bug, as I want to start this from chapter 1. Thanks

Audio not playing and i i play using drive then it throws an error like playback has unknown error.
I paused in between n my phone was autolocked when I resumed I was unable to play from where I stopped.
Excellent option for each shloka navigation could be done All Indian languages will make it for wider use of devotee base

Divine song nicely recited but it stops suddenly which destroys all your enjoyment. And when it restarts after quite sometime, it restarts from beginning and not from the point where it stopped. This should be improved.
