Wonderful App. It was good when I first started using it, but was often bothered by lack of highly obstructive ads & that the page did not reset to top after reading every story. Enter the new update. It totally revolutionized the app. I can now peacefully get obstructed while reading the articles with mutiple ads & get completely overjoyed that i have to scroll through the entire page to reach the story in the middle. Keep up the great work & HT will soon be at the coveted bottom spot.

Update 4/10 App keeps crashing after last update on a number of phones running Android 12. You get the home page but as soon as you click a story it crashes. Update 3/12 After the recent app update, takes too long to load. When you return to the previous page after reading a story, that page also takes long to load, it's almost they don't cache it. Goes towards a painful reading experience.

Latest review after the app update, updated to 5 stars: The new clean UI feels great. Also, THE annoying ADVers ARE GONE for premium . It would still be great to have intuitive long articles like NYT, WaPo with pictures and data analysis atleast for the subscription holders. Newspaper should be integrated into the app like how Washington Post app does. Old Review: 5 star 🌟 for investigative journalism. Just subscribed!

It was a boon to read HT even when I was away from my country. I subscribed for 3 months on my mobile and I was happy. Then I happen to purchase Samsung tab A7 lite (which runs on Android 11) here in Canada for reading my e paper on bigger screen. But after 2 days of my bliss of a large screen read, now I encounter a loop after 3rd page on the tablet . Edited review since my issue has been attended to & I can read paper on tablet also. Thanks.

Simple user friendly interface. HT as we have always liked it! 8th May 22 The 'aspeak Mode' needs improvements. You ought to allow the reader to change the speed and tone of the auto-read feature.

This is my favourite news paper media and app to read news. The daily feed, editorial and the detailing coverage of the every segments is highly commendable and appreciable. But, now a days I can't read news directly clicking on notification. Every time I click on notification it force to open the Google browser instead of app. This frustrating, notification click should be opened via application. I draw attention of the technical member of HT.

This is the most annoying app to read news. The ads keep shifting the news. Read one line then the rest of the content is moved up or down. By the time you scroll to news it changes again. Basically, the news app where one cannot read the news. Please consider better UI design/designer.

Biggest problem with the app is when u return back from any article,it takes u at the top on 1st news,where as it should go back from where we picked up....again have to scroll down completely.... previously this issue wasn't there...please fix this..it's very annoying...!!! Also too much advertisement that too full page...news keep on shifting up & down...very poor UI...it's used to be one of my favourite news app but not now.

Premium version has too many advertisements, including full page ones which pop-up frequently. This completely spoils the reading experience. This was not expected in the paid version. It is no way ad-lite, as was stated in the subscription page. Content is good though.

Lately, it has become a worst app. I am already a subscriber for epaper but couldn't access the paper beyond page 3. Each time a forced add for premium subscription comes up. This amounts to shear blackmailing of subscribers. Then even it does not respond to log out command. I couldn't access the paper for three days for which I have already paid. It needs immediate rectification.

I am a Premium member, why I am I still getting full screen ads popping up time and again when I want to read the article, this is really annoying. Also app is crashing. Please look.

The old app was fine. Since the last update the app doesn't open and you get a message that app cannot be reached. Kindly try sometime later Uninstalled and reinstalled multiple times to get the same message. What's happening?

Nice app but too many advertisements even for premium subscription.Ot would be great if you can add subscription expiry date in the account details within the app. Also it would be great if you can add subscription renewal / cancellation option within the app itself.

Usind tha app for the last 2 yrs. Latest update is absurd. Layout is clumsy. Also links/ notifications are not opening in the app, instead opening in browser. Need to fix it.

HT proves it's motto FIRST VOICE LAST WORD best newspaper of our nation. It is not only a newspaper it is soul of the nation. It plays a great role in preparation for Competitve exams and current affairs. Also I would like to request the newspaper to provide a weekly paper of weekly national and international current affairs on every Sunday if possible. Thanks to the complete HT Team.

Its getting crashed again and again. I am a paid user of your app. Also have been using it from last one year. But after the new update, the app is crashing after opening any news.

Good but not able to see sometimes. Today i am not able to read the news and opinion. Kindly restart it. Why it is showing that hinstan times has stopped. Restart the app.

The app keeps getting close automatically. Please fix it Thank you for fixing it. This app is really helpful to get information about everything going around world.

The application is crashing whenever I am trying to open the details of articles. Tried cleaning cache and app data but still same issue.

In time am sure that I'll rate the app 5 stars. Fab.,anyhow after only a fortnight am interested in the volume of info.presented. I appreciate it very much. Thank you. I am unable to open the app after install. Keeps saying there is a new version.. even tried un installing and installing.. so disappointing. Will not refer anyone to this app!

You guys made this news app a advertisement app..more space is for advertisement boxes instead of news....if u scroll down, u get advertisement more...it seems ur focus is more on advertisement instead of on news... pathetic....

Installed it because SBI card gave me free subscription. There's very little journalism, op-ed. Mostly plain vanilla reporting. Also, in spite of having a premium subscription I'm getting 3 to 5 ads in every article. These guys clearly have no idea how to do subscription. All you need to do is compare the app with NyTimes, The Ken, TMC etc.

Hi, The app is getting crashed everytime I open an article to read. Please look into this. The app used to function perfectly uptill now.

This is very helpful for latest news and a person who want to learn English. I used many aap but this is the only one app in play store is better.

Hi, Team HT! It's pathetic to use this app at present as it collapses when I try to read any article in detail. Can this issue be fixed at the earliest?

Notification are being sent despite turning off. Getting fed up with constant bombardment of notifications and alerts

There is a bug in app , whenever I click on any news articles it automatically remove the app from screen and I come to the home screen

Too many notifications, after 3 pages hindustan times asks to subscribe their hindustan times premium ,i was unable to turn pages ,this is headache.

This aap not work at a long time When click on news it closes itself. Very bad performance.
