Beware. It's a Scam. They lock you in the 6 months contract and you can't pulled off even if you're in cooling off period.

Don't bother, use a different service. Subscription is done outside of the app store so you have to speak to them to cancel your subscription. Thing is it's impossible to get in touch with support, I had to cancel my subscription from the banks end.

Its impossible to get in contact with them when you need them.. I had a client who didn't want to pay me for a very good job I did for them. The client went and told Hipages a bunch of lies just because they didn't wanna pay. Hipages banned me when I still had $100 worth of credits and had done literally not one thing wrong. Hipages was my only form of income. They are very dodgy at times, like when they start taking random amounts of money out of your bank account.. nothing but a headache.

I thought when your lead credit finished that you make a payment, but they direct debit even though you still have full lead credit! I'm trying to get a refund because I've been trying to close my account for a while but they wont! And you have to put another card there in order to change your other card. You can't get in contact with them now because of covid and they take a while to respond. I have $990 in lead credit that I'm pretty sure no one ever needs that much in lead credit!

Dont know what people are complaining about this app helped me out in so many ways made my life less complicated. Also the customer service is always on the ball.

Does not offer all the info for leads eg pictures, does note show lead id when displaying job leads available and more

Rip off. You pay for credits to buy leads. Customer gets to accept the lowest price. Even if the customer takes the first one and the job is no longer available you can still buy that lead and not get a refund for bidding on a non existent job. when you find out the work has been already done. It's not about you winning work it's about how many leads they can sell. Heads up they do lock in contracts due to how many people want to cancel. Pay for an seo to fix your website better value.

One of the worst customer service. Would not recommend. Their business model is like a scam. I had 1200 credit with them after the year it went to 0.

Absolutely waist, the app charge you for nothing. They were very friendly and responsive when you want sign contract but for supporting nothing ABSOLUTELY NOTHING.

App has not ever worked properly, the search function is slower than dial up internet through a kettle, leads regularly dissapear, whenever there's a problem they just tell me to reinstall the app... given there's a problem everytime I use the app they expect me to reinstall it every time I use it. Pathetic.

Was great for awhile til they charged me for monthly fees when I didn't even use them for the month. Plus iy is a rip off that you pay for a lead with 2 other people and one person gets the work and the other 2 don't get there lead refund back.

Iv been using Hipages for some time. I have got a fair bit of work off them in the past years. I don't know whats happened to this app latley, but is not working the way it used to. The clients like when you do call them its like what did I do to get you clling me again ?? Or my mate, or pairents must have done that for me. Or Iv'e now got it sorted out. Thanks for ringing. You have to be right on it there and then. or its just a waist of time and money. I can't even down load a new business app atm on Google play. Cause this one I deleated as it was not working right. Just wont happen atm ??

Spend your money elsewhere. DO NOT give them your credit card details They will automatically take fees off your credit cards without your knowledge or even providing a receipt for the transactions. Absolute scammers. When it comes to getting the money back they make sure it's more hassle than it is worth

Signed up with hipages years ago didn't have the best luck clicking the button fast enough jobs always gone fast. Updated my business and decided to sign up for the new business and give it another shot. I signed up paid the money. The next day they called demanding I give additional identification. I did not feel comfortable giving my ID. They not only cancelled my new listing they deleted my original listing. Not happy. Don't bother people better out there.

I use this platform to get more job for 6 months and I payed $1, 200 without getting any job at all , the are just send me some job descriptions and I try to call the number, most of the time some one answer and said this job already gone. Please don't make any contracts with them because you can't cancel it and you must staying with them and paying them with out getting any job. Thanks

Don't waste your money. I wish I had just spent the extra 500 a month on seo for my website. Hipages for business used to ask potential clients how much do you want to spend, is it urgent etc etc. Now it is little more than an extension of the Google search bar. The user will type into Google " I need a fence removed" and hipages will send out an alert to 3 business for $40 each. You'll pay the $40 call the person straight away only to get a response like "im just thinking about it"

The app that you download doesn't work properly.it will email me the leads but it won't show up on the app at all so if you're not on your computer you will miss out it. I've missed several leads and it cost me thousands of dollars.

hipages was good initially. I was receiving calls regularly asking if I was interested in upgrading my account. I noticed I was using only half the credits I was allocated each month so I called to inquire about getting a downgrade on my account. They said they would review my files and call back later that day, but after a weeks wait they still hadn't! Ive called 6 times over the month only to be told I would get called back. Im still waiting and am starting to feel like im being scammed!

My experience is that I signed up and tried it for 2 days. How this works is you're offered leads or possible work to which you buy. There are leads from $22- $33. Each month you are given an amount to spend for example $45 plan gives you $70 to use on leads. THERE IS NO OPT OUT GUYS. Your locked in and they make it hard to cancel. You are competing against established companies. Please think twice.

Do not use this service. They tell you no lock in contracts after 6 months. Then they lock you in automatically after your 6 payed service for an additional 6 months. They don't answer your messages or calls. Just keep saying we will get back to you in 3 to 5 days and never do. Absolute rubbish. Ripping people off. Sly thieves.

At many times you should spend your lead(money) for nothing. And because of their agreement about 100$ per month for six months you have to pay. After you paid the lead you will accepted to have the customer number and then you can call them or sending message. But unfortunately i had awful experience. So many of customers even didn't answer my calls or messages. So many of them said we don't decide yet. And after you report these to customer service they said unfortunately we can't do anything.

Ive had friends who praise this app but they are in semi rural areas. In my opinion, don't use it in Sydney. 50% of job leads you can't get in touch with the customers or the job is already taken. Of the 50% you can, you are quoting against two others so you have a 1 in 3 chance of getting a job that you bid for. The bid price is usually around $30 for a job with $450 worth of labour. This mean you are paying ($30 x1 in 6 Chace) $180 for $450 worth of work. Would be okay as last resort.

overall a good experience, I basically run my business from it, the external review system make us more professional, as the reviews can't be altered, and that sets my business apart from those who make there own reviews, and the clients I have say to me, Hi Pages, is a one stop shop for there trade needs, which is great, as companies like Jim's, is not what it seems, and with there overheads, they cut a lot of corners to make more money, so yeah, very happy.

Absolutely disgusting service.... i have been contracted for the last 18 months which has now expired paying $200 a month for leads... for the last 8 weeks i jave been trting to get through to them.to cancel.but every time at least 8 calls they tell.me.noone is available to speak with... all while still charging me.... so i tested and rung from a different number saying i wanted to sign up to a subscrition and guess what, someone was available... Absolutely useless site

The app is terrible! I select post code that's as far it let's me go! I have to go online! Stuff the app! I've deleted and downloaded twice to see if it fixes the problem still same issues!

If you are a business...stay AWAY!!....they tell you at the start we will reverse leads that are not genuine but when you apply for a review for leads which are pretty much time wasters...dont answer calls....wants ideas for budgeting....already have a quote but want to haggle you to get it for cost price...have a wrong ad description.....hipages says...you have already reached your limit of credits and we wont reverse any even if they are not genuine because You pay for a lead and are not guarenteed anything...if they answer...if you get to quote...you are simply paying for a random number...what happens after that...they take no responsibilty...so most of the time you pay for nothing. A solution according to them...is to upgrade to a higher plan so you get more credit so they waste even more of your money!!!!!
