Doesn't even qualify for 1 star. First time placed order and it showed delivery in 60 minutes. Actually delivered in 3 hour 6 minutes after numerous chats with Hipbar support. There is no method of tracking the delivery and no way to speak to the delivery agent. It seems the app and Hipbar policy is from prehistoric times. It is better to use Swiggy and Zomato!
Good app, but buggy. Everytime I pay through my card the, money gets debited from my bank but transaction fails. Though the same amount comes back to the app wallet after a while and then again I have to pay through the wallet and payment succeeds but it consumes a lot of time. Devs please see to this.
No issues with the app. Works very well. Issue is with delivery personnel: on 2 occasions, a minor came to deliver the alcohol products, and that too without any mask or protective gear. Kindly check.
It's not worth installing this app. I used this app few times but the home delivery option doesn't even work. People from the store told me that I have to pick up the liquor from the store on my own. If the home delivery service is not available then what's the point installing this app??? I have to order online then go all the way to the store!
Very bad experience, ordered for 1st time & order was confirmed & on the way.was waiting for the items to come but without reason order was cancelled & reason for cancellation was that i was not available to pick up the delivery.i never got a single call from delivery boy about it.They themselves cancelled the delivery & deducted the cancellation charge. They don't even have a registered phone number to call & complain about this. Terrible experience, wanted to give -1 star sadly not possible.
Pathetic.. fraudulent app..they cancel your order by themselves without asking you. My phone was not reachable for some network issue and they have cancelled my order even didn't ask me and moreover, charged cancellation fee. I still haven't received my money back..
Excellent App and service. I always buy it from elite tasmac located in EA. Never faced any issues. Even the tasmac guys cooperate and never showed any disappointment using the app. My only suggestion is to update this app with the store number, so that we don't have to ask everytime before making the payment.
Loved the experience!!... Yes they don't have features like live tracking, delivery agent contact details etc. but they definitely do what they promise - i.e. deliver your order at your doorstep in record time. Pros - No delivery fees, Quick delivery compared to competitors
This app looks to be designed specifically for liquor buyers rather than those others which one uses to order food or groceries. As a result, the catalogue is comprehensive giving one the option of choosing the bottle size for a given brand. Separate categories have been created for Domestic and imported whiskies, Rum, Gin, Vodka etc. The app also generates an OTP to be given to the delivery guy along with ID proof. I used UPI for payment and the experience was smooth.
Pathetic service. Not trustworthy. Amount got debited but receive sms as the transaction is unsuccessful. When contacted customer care they are demanding screen shot. I forwarded the SMS which I received from bank stating the amount have been debited. Still they want screen shot. Screen shot of what? My bank statements? Is this ethical to provide screen shots of my bank statements? I don't trust this app. This is my 1st time experience and also it will be my last time experience till my refund.
The app cannot access location even after turning on the gps and giving 'permission to access location'. It still was asking to access and turn on gps. Had to uninstall since I could not use it.
Poor experience, they don't deliver after 8.30 so one day i placed an order at 8.33 they commincates that they will deliver it kn the next day. It was okay till now but when I wanted to cancel the order as I needed that on that specific day they deducted 100 bucks for cancellation inspire of being their regular customer. It's absolutely ridiculous
Terrible service. They keep you waiting for 60-90 minutes and then say that order delivery is not possible. I could have ignored this once but it happened with my last 4 orders. The executive in the chatbox have no idea what to say and keep repeating same statements like a bot. No empathy, no customer service. Much better to order alcohol from swiggy/zomato.
App is good and easy to use. No order tracking may be due safety reasons. Otherwise they are improving day by day.. keep up the good work. Most reliable hard drinls delivery app in my locality atleast
Team, This is the right time to promote the app to the next level. Enable online delivery and I'm pretty sure in a state like tamilnadu you will be the number one application installed on every mobile 😁. Good luck and do the needful at the earliest...
Hello, after the latest update , the app is asking to Sign Up again...And continuously throwing an error in conflict of Email Address...Its the only one email ID, I prefer to use in Androod Apps...I have no other email ID other than this. Please suggest...
Doesn't even deliver anywhere. No active support. Just a blank app in Play Store. Remove it please, if not in business anymore. May We know the reason behind closure?
The service is good and capture all ranges of products. Need to better the app experience with more customer friendly usual features, like live tracking and all.
very difficult search option. please break up the list into each type (like, Whiskey, Beer, etc.) and thereon search based on name
What's the use of using this app bcs I have forced to paid extra amount everytime for the sales vultures... I made a complaint few time but still nothing happened. If hipbar want to be a successful app. We would like to see some action.
Very bad experience with this apps .. I paid for some order and they could not delivered in time and then saying that am not received your money. After that am giving sufficient prove they were said for refund it will take 4/5 days .. after that also I wouldn't received my money back.. Don't have professionalism .. @Google please check before you entering any apps into playstore ..
Not user friendly and it is not easy to buy in this app like promo code apply there is an erorr , many items listed in this app are not available in outlets and the customer care chat is the worst i have ever seen My sincere suggestion to all users visit directly to store and purchase , there is no use in this app
The Hipbar Application is fine. However it is not very welcomed in the elite shops. When you state that you will like to use the app for a payment, the liquor store treat you like you are getting alcohol for free with such a bad attitude. If there seems to be an uncomfortable relationship between elite stores and the hipbar app, then why get into this partnership?
Nothing useful here..i live in dindigul..but the app works on madurai and trichy..and dindigul is in center? Are we a joke to u? And I moved Chennai and try to use it..it says "sorry we don't have any service on your location" and I just uninstalled it..Now I moved to Banglore.. it asked for my location permission..and I just click "allow" and again it shows me a list of places and asking me to choose my location.. then why the hell it needs my location access.. and there is no banglore option😒
Overall the app is very good.but I suggest if the tracking facilities and delivery person's contact number would provided then it would be more easier to use....

Very delayed service. They don't even check the inventory. After one hour after the order is placed, their customer care representative days this is not available and urges to cancel the order. What nonsense
No nonsense app. Does what it is meant for. Pros: Lower delivery fee, compared to Zomato/Swiggy Cons: Does not have live tracking Does not accept ADHAR card as ID (which is very strange)
My location Erode. Today i Went shop for purchasing. .I have updated the app. I found the upi is mandatory to get the cash back. It's not a big deal to give rs.10/20 to the shop instead of giving my personal upi for 50rs cash back. It seems like giving a key to the theif to take all the things in the house.. I uninstalled from today...
Disappointed with the app and the service. There is no way to track the order as well. It's better to score liquor in the old classic way rather than spending the whole weekend with a bad experience, a cancelled order and ruined plans. My question is, why after selecting the current location on GPS, the app suggests and accept orders from a seller, who is not in the vicinity or out of the delivery range and later cancel it without prior notice. Hope to get the refund ASAP!
