Get "Not connected to server" message, just like on prod app. Still broken. Unable to login with "Not connected to server" message, on both this app and main prod app.
Constantly crashes, notifications disappear, rooms fail to load, doesn't properly sync joined rooms.
As agonisingly slow as the normal version, 30 seconds to render a room
Suddenly my rooms got disappeared, it couldn't get load after that.
Scrollback doesn't work. Worse than useless.
I really love the room features. The biggest detractor, and this is a huge one, is that they completely fail at push messaging. The app always, like 100% of the time disconnects when you are not in the app. Even if you choose the option to stay connected it will not. So the only way to get notified of a message is to be in the app. We were going to buy the premium service for our team, but seriously, every single user has issues with not getting notifications. This includes users of the apple version as well. They need to fix this before they are ready for prime time.
App was great last year because it was still new and was in active development. It was missing some things then, but that was fine because the devs were making progress. But it hasn't received any dev work for 7 months now. Still missing multi account support - a must have. Settings still too limited. Messages still "disappear" regularly. Often the app has issues connecting. Keeping the app connected in the background excessively drains the battery (I'd expect some dent in the battery for keeping the session alive indefinitely, but not this much). Feels like the devs have essentially abandoned this app.
Would like to test sound (voice) over Bluetooth. I see voice option on the Linux client app, but not on the Android app.
A sad excuse for an app. Can't believe there is an app for professionals to communicate that's a million times less functional than free apps out there for the public. I can't think of a single messaging app less functional than this.
Can't login. Its saying that they can't access the settings of my account

The Latest 3.16.007 build will not connect to our hipchat server. I had to roll back one build. No communication or notes on remedies

Bug: Sometimes messages that I see in a notification do not show up in the chat they originated. This is usually in 1-on-1 chats. And I'm not 100% sure, but clicking on the notification might cause this. Closing and reopening the chat doesn't bring them up. I have to sign out and back in.
Barely functional. Doing anything takes minutes and multiple retries, even on solid and fast wifi connections. If you're on cell, it might take 15 minutes or more to send a single message. Destroys productivity and seriously harms incident responses
Both the beta and regular versions are waste of time! Half the time when I switch to the app it asks me to login again, meaning it wasn't running and receiving msgs in the background, and then it says my correct password is incorrect.
please add AMOLED black theme, please add persistent running in the background with black themed notification, please add "share to HipChat" function for all types of files and data
Closed by itself everytime success to connect using any kind of connection, either data or wifi
Recent updates with avatars and new beta icon is (thumbsup). Same for landscape support. Small FYI: the font size for the navigation menu seems too small on my phone (Xperia Z3 Compact). Keep the updates coming!
Now able to connect, but I get notifications for messages that I then can't see in the chat. Still the worst communication app I've ever used.
Overall great experience except for various periodic service outages and slow "connecting..." messages. It would be so much better to be able to have multiple teams logged in on mobile like on the OS X client. This would allow me to have our cloud team, internal instance, and various other public teams I'm a member of all in one place in my pocket.
Embarrassing. Atlassian is a great company, but this client is useless. Slow, buggy, and battery intensive (despite using GMS). Worst of all, notifications don't work properly. Of all the dozen IM clients I use on Android, this is the only one that causes me to miss many (sometimes all) messages sent to me while I'm AFK. Take your business elsewhere until they fix this client.
Downloaded both apps. I am unable to login successfully on either. I am currently logged in via browser on same device.
Connected only once, first time. Then nothing
Cannot set status i.e. Out to lunch, back at 1:30 etc. Useless because of this.
Really, this is so bad, I can't believe why this is still being used. There are hundreds of complaints by people all over that this doesn't work reliably, but Atlassian clearly doesn't have the skill sets to get this fixed.
You cannot delete messages from a 1 to 1 chat or delete it at all. If you delete a message from web, in mobile app will remain even after reinstalling the app.
