All-round bad. Doesn't stay connected even if the stay connected option is checked. Can't connect even when manually launching the app. Completely useless.
Extremely terrible rendering performance on Samsung Galaxy Tab S2. Chats always jumps when scrolled. Freezes when try to write message. I have snapdragon 652 version of tablet
It's good, but I sometimes get notifications of messages way before the message can actually be read in the chat window.
Could you please improve the app so it works faster in Samsung DeX? At the moment it is working so slow that it is unusable at all.. forced to use web hipchat. Thanks.
You cannot delete messages from a 1 to 1 chat or delete it at all. If you delete a message from web, in mobile app will remain even after reinstalling the app.
we used for our work and was great communication tool. also making calls to each other.
Good bye. This app is really helpful and straightforward but now we have to switch to slack.

Has a huge lack of features including basic things like setting a do not disturb. So happy to know it's going to die
Cannot change your status from the mobile app. When I am mentioned (pinged) in a chat, it doesn't always alert me on my device even though I have it set to. Custom alert notification do not work. It defaults to the same sound as other alerts on my phone.
Entered correct credentials but says incorrect username and password
The app doesn't log out / block usage on other devices inspite of changing the password on the server.
When app idle it does not reconnect to server, sign out and back in 20+ times a day. Chat groups show user as leaving and joining the room which is another huge flaw in the app

You cannot scroll in the chat list to select a chat. Once you do it crashes instantly
Dosn't work. Cannot send message on first attempt. Always have to retry. Sometimes not getting messages.
I stepped into an elevator while using the app. Predictably, my phone lost connection. Predictably, HipChat reconnected in the network sense. Unpredictably, the app failed to transition to connected even though I was receiving messages. I had to reinstall the app to get the app to recognize that it was connected.
