The calculator app is pretty good and I'm overall very pleased with it. I have one small complain tho. In the pro version of the app takes into account the fact that I have dark mode on in my phone settings so it changes the colours in the app, making it look ugly and also making some things unreadable, so I end up having to turn dark mode off which isn't a big thing but it gets annoying after some time.
A great calculator for advanced algebra and calculus. The plots are great and it can factor polynomials and find roots. It can now plot two functions as long as the functions intersect. Statistical functions and matrix operations were added. Graphs can now be labeled in units of pi. The programmer is very good about adding requested features. It is almost like having a math tutor in your phone. It is well worth the $4.
Search for "calculator" in the store and this should be the only result listed. It's *that* good. It does everything you would expect a calculator to do then does even more. I just suggest reading the help pages for ideas to show how flexible this app is. One tiny niggle (and this is probably because I'm me) is that there could be more skins (themes) the inbuilt ones are fine but old fashioned and set. A (separate) theme/skin designer would make this the perfect daily & specialist use calculator
As simple or as advanced as you need. My dad used to work for Hewlett Packard and I had one of every calculator they made! HiPER Calc Pro is better than all of them! Update: the display issue with the pixel6pro works perfectly now. Thank you! You're the best!
This is the BEST scientific calculator I've ever tried here in Play Store. It's also easily configurable to suit your preferences. You could make it look like the standard Casio calculator if you want to! Of course, we shouldn't forget the other advanced features that I'm still trying to grasp. Definitely worth it.
Decent tool; however, after paying for the product I would expect it to function/open after 30 days with no phone connectivity. I work in a field where I go without signal for more than a month. Have to find another calculator that is reliable all the time, regardless of signal.
Has more capabilities than all but the most expensive physical calculators, except for statistics. (Edit: statistics is now added.) It is easier to use with great built-in help and is configurable to the styles used in different countries. Besides that, you will always have it with you. It stores your past entries so that you can edit and reuse them with different values.
Purchased years ago and found it to be not what I needed, so I uninstalled. Just installed latest version and it has improved considerably over my first version. One change is strange. I understand using = for another purpose, but replacing it with a check mark? Why not ENTER? A humorous reference to the developer's home country (Czech Republic), perhaps?
This is the most functional calculator I've ever used. You can build custom button layouts. You can program your own functions. It can solve equations and graph them. It has a full range of unit conversions and mathematical constants. Some other reviews have incorrect info. You can create more variables than just x and y. You can customize the layouts so if you want to have 00 and 000 for example as buttons you can just add them because it's fully customizable.
Stable and intuitive. Easy to use even on a phone, despite having a lot of functions. Also it seems to be updated regularly and the update notes are detailed and useful. I'm certainly happy I got the pro version.
The best calculator I can find for Android in terms of flexibility, functionality and usability. The developer also responds to issues raised, which is reassuring. I have one niggle; I use it in portrait mode and it always starts up in landscape and rotates. Other apps seem to be able to start in the right orientation so there is a trick missed here.
Absolutely glorious, in every way. Practicality is the name of the game, and this app excels at it. I do wish some more conversion options were added, for example dekagram(dkg) is missing, but many countries, including the one I live in, use it quite frequently. It's not the end of the world, I can memorize it and just use grams, but it would be nice just in case I forget.
One of the few apps I can 100% recommend IF you're interested. A faithful emulation of a scientific calculator, completely fullfilling your school nostalgia or functionality in case you have a need for it's options. Frequent updates, so far not a single bug for me and while I got the pro version I didn't find the basic version intrusive at all. Wich is a big plus in my book.
If you are working on a paper or case study, presenting results or comparing experimental data to predictions, you need this. It's perfect. The ability to edit variables in a long formula is easy and saves time as well as reduces errors. Also, finds deferential, integrals (definite, indefinite), roots... Graphs multiple equations, does matrix algebra... Etc. Get this.
It's a very nice calculator, but I want to call its developer, it would be even more wonderful if you could switch to hex and decimal operations with a single key instead of pressing the 2ndF key and choosing hex or decimal.
Especially the pro version a very good calculator. Very versatile and has a broad range for application. Good 3D rendering for higher calculus and a great overview of the results and possible further calculation.
Never used a calculator like this but it's great. Leaning with it. Helps me help my kid with homework. I would like a financial mode with a ribbon /tape view (like an adding machine).
I think the calculator itself is good but the current version doesn't fit the screen of my Pixel 6 Pro. The bottom row of buttons is cut off.
Excellent and (very) fully featured scientific calculator app. It even has RPN (Reverse Polish Notation) for HP fans. Without doubt this is the best calculator app I've ever used. However, it appears that the back arrow key has now gone. It used to be above the DMS button, but has now been replaced by the STAT button. Is there a way to get the back arrow key back?
If only display consisted of multiple line enteris instead of one; like scientific calculators, with ability to edit the previous entries, thanks.
Best calc app for Android; happy to support the dev team! Update, can you please remove the PRO banner? It looks so cheap! Thanks! The app is great! How do you disable the sticky button feature?
I love this and use it often. But please please I have one request. Make the fractional usage more intuitive. When I put in 7/8 - 2/3, give me the answer in a fraction. It tries to do 7over8-2/3. It wants me to hit the equal sign after 7/8, but then it converts the number to a decimal. Then when I do 2/3 = it doesnt convert that to a decimal but still gives me the answer. Things can get confusing fast. Fixing this would easily bump this to a 5* app. (I know thats confusing, can provide video)
I've tried several calculator apps. This one seems best to me. Used the free version for a few months and finally upgraded to Pro. Update 2/5/2022 because I keep getting annoying pop-ups asking me to rate the app, even though I already have. Yes, I'm still using it and it's still great.
Been using the free version before the ads came in. Decided to buy the pro version to remove ads and show my appreciation for the devs. Ive been using this scical since college began!
KEEP PRESSING THE WRONG KEYS BECAUSE OF MISALIGNED BUTTONS FOR 3 MONTHS. HOW IS THIS BASIC DESIGN MESSED UP SO BADLY? On Pixel 4 on Android 12 SP2A. Edit: Fixed after a month and threatened refund. Money talks.
In 2021: This is one calculator that meets my requirements. They have added some cool new features since a year plus, which is nice as well. It is a very simple and powerful calculator. No bells and whistles, just right. Still the best calculator of my choice.
This is more fully featured and customizable than the last calculator app that I had which didn't appear to any longer be in active development. You can also experiment with key layouts if you don't like the built-in ones (although the scientific layout is in most respects very good IMO).
