Hiragana Memorizer

As a free tool to practice and revise Hiragana, this is a great app. The games add the pressure if the "flash card" quiz is too easy. One suggestion I'd make is you need a greater delay when you get an answer wrong in the quiz to display the correct answer, or perhaps a list of what you got wrong at the end. When I make a mistake, it disappears so fast and I can't even remember which character it was to look it up later. 5 stars anyway cause it's free!

I love your app, this really helped me in memorizing hiragana characters. Great design as well. But one thing that I don't like is that the maximum numbers of the quiz is only 46, if I'm not mistaken. So if I choose many set of characters before taking the quiz, some characters won't appear on the quiz due to its maximum number which is 46, while others appeared multiple times, which is I think unfair. I do hope that you can modify that one for me. :) Please continue to improve your app, Love it

I have only had this app for few days and I really like it! It's user friendly, well organized, and easy to read. I find this app works really well for memorising. I like that for quizzes you can pick whether to have it quiz you on everything, or a small focus group of characters, or anywhere inbetween. I generally don't review things. This one I actually liked enough to review and recommend. Sometimes in the quizzes it shows some too much and others not much. Otherwise, nice job! Thanks!

Great app for drilling Hiragana. The flashcards are great and I love the feature to be able to pick which ones you want to focus on while omitting the ones you are familiar with. Ads are ads, honestly doesn't take away from the app at all. The one thing that puts me off is that there is no review of the wrong Hiragana in the quiz portion of the app, either right after you input the wrong choice or after the quiz concludes. Maybe there is a setting somewhere that I haven't seen. 5 stars otherwise

I'm using this app to help me in my Nihongo class. Learning a different language and the characters of the language is quite challenging. 🙃 I like the simplicity of the user interface. The placement of the ads is surprising though. The tutorial feature which shows how to write the Hiragana characters lag though. The quiz and 2 games are fun to do. As a visual learner, these activities help me remember the Hiragana characters. Kudos to the creator of the app. Well done!

Out of all the apps I've dealt with Duolingo being the supposed top to learn. This is so much better. I feel like I'm actually able to learn. I can hear what the symbol sounds like, I can try working it with my finger. This so much more useful since it's in flashcard form. I gave it 4* because I can't buy it and remove adds. But I guess continuously having adds helps the dev in the long run so I'll suffer since it's free.

This is a simple, limited tool that helps memorizing hiragana. In that capacity, it is awesome. I use it a lot, and God knows how much my hiragana recognition has improved thanks to that. It has minor glitches and design issues. It has a long way ahead in terms of flexibility and variety. I do like it pretty much.

It's a cool app that helps a lot. But there are 2 things that I would like to have here. Firstly, it would be great to hear the sound of a syllable you pick. Secondly, there is so much advertisement, so it would be great to have an apportunity to cancel it forever paying some money

Really amazing application to help learn Hiragana. Especially since you can choose each alphabet line specific to what you want to learn. Just wish I could pay for the application once so I don't have to go through any of the advertisements. Otherwise, really amazing app.

extremely useful! i'm as beginner as beginner gets when it comes to learning japanese, and hiragana was initially extremely intimidating, especially because it was just one of three alphabets i had to familiarize myself with. luckily, this app has been helping me memorize hiragana characters way faster than i thought. the minigames are simple and help a lot, and i the pronunciation and writing features are great too.

works well but you need a pay to upgrade to ad free version and if you don't wanna do that don't make the ads automatically play sound. I'm trying use this to study at night and it starts the ad at my last volume. And the mute button for the ad also moves. There's good ad integration and bad integration. This is bad.

I think the app is pretty dope, it could be better if it added a draw the symbol section and the options that are randomized only come from the section you ticked the boxes for. But its great

Very very good app for memorizing your Hiragana. You can choose which Hiragana you want to practice so you can leave out stuff like dakuten and digraphs of you're not there yet. There's also fun games to play so you're not doing the same thing over and over. One of the best apps for learning Hiragana.

Great app. really helpful. but maybe questions should be more difficult for example I tend to confuse けand せ but since its multiple choice, its easy for me to guess which one is correct. Also, would not mind paying to have ads removed.

This app is like flash cards, but better! I'm brand new trying to learn hriagana and the multiple choice helps me to narrow it down to learn the characters! I start by covering the multiple choice answers with my thumb and if i can't figure it out solely from memory, i move my thumb and get a "hint."

Really liked it! From the many similar aps I've tried, this is the one that helped me the most. It would be great that after the tests, it would list the ones we've got wrong, creating a second test specifically for them. Congratulations!

Simple and easy without any bells and whistles. Wish the resolution didn't look bad on my phone but the app itself basically functions as Hiragana flash cards. Super useful for a new language learner.

Hajime is a god who developed this and the Katakana memorizer apps solo for us. Both have clean interface and super easy to use, you can chose which groups on the chart that you want to test and theres mini games to play and learn as well. Thank you for making my learning a lot easier~ ありがとうございます

Terrible random algorithm. It's nice that the ad is not annoying and you can chose which kana to test. But the randomizer is bad because you keep geting the same kana on a test too many times. There are even some kana that never show up in a test even though you already choose it.

This app is great! It really lives up to it's title "Hirigana Memorizor", it helps me momorize how to spell, say, and read each character with games. The writing feature is also really great for momorizing them!! It does take awhile to remember all of them, but this app surely does help. 👏🔥💯👍I 11/10 recommend this app to who ever is reading this review. (PS it's good with the adds, I barely get any of them!)

This game is awesome! It makes studying the characters very fun and a helpful supplement to other language apps. Please add statistics to the games, I would love to see my progress and highest score! It's a 5 star app if stats are included!

No option to remove the ads. Not even by purchase. Only supports hiragana and sadly not katakana, meaning you'll need a diferent app for that. Perfect otherwise, but these fixes seem so easy. Would easily pay good money for an app as good as this if these things got fixed

Good practice and test options. Would love a. Option to pay a buck or two to get rid of ads but it doesn't seem super obvious. Otherwise great. Love the test games.

Gives an annoying ad every time you hit the home button. You can't close it for five seconds, and it's constant. Plus, the app started me with a quiz before I even learned anything?? Not good. Uninstalled immediately.

Just instantly blasted by ads. I couldn't understand the vague menu so I tried to click one of the icons and oops, gotta watch an ad first. Sorry but that's not a spectacular first impression.

Well done, has ads. Its free, it works. Be patient for 30 seconds of ad and you are done. I like it and wish there was a way to support the App more!

It's a very useful Hiragana exercise app, especially for new learners! However I would like to suggest for a practice of the mnemonics/sounds, to correspond to the correct Kana.

Great app. You can choose to test yourself with few characters first and later on add more as you progress. Really helpful in memorization.
